Thank you for answering those questions miaviator , Im feeling a bit better about being outbid now.....

re
"I've been mining on GPU rigs since 2011 and I have a lot of GPU's running around the US right now.  My actual opinion based on the Bitcoin trend followed by the Scrypt trend is that GPU's are going to be worth way more than SHA or Scrypt ASICS and I've been collecting more GPU's as Scrypt returns fall.  Currently I primarily provide hosting for SHA/Scrypt Asics and build to lease GPU rigs.   "

why do you think that gpu's are going to be worth way more than asics?

History likes to repeat itself.   Pre-Order madness, the hashfast scams, the cons for non-existent hardware all play a role in this.  If we see another GPU crypto or GPU = profit spike as we've seen in the past card prices will spike once more and profits will spike for those with strong GPU farms.   Running GPU's through the end of the "scrypt downfall" and then holding vs selling would yield more profit than trading GPU's for scrypt ASICs.   Of course I clearly don't live on a private island and have no clue what's going to happen next so take my opinions as random forum babble.  If you can find a few megawatts of Solar/Hydro/HHO/Hydrogen power for ridiculously low rates even better.

Question: What maintenance is being carried out right now? The hashing time is still credited, correct?

I see maintenance is complete, but now I can't reset my password which means I can't login (can you provide a way to change the password manually please. LastPass doesn't pick up the form you've got on the login page and I can't write to it.

Miners are still hashing to the assigned pools.  Unless you are not using LRP and did not update the allow IP in cgminer/firewall everything runs as usual during the transfer.

I can't log in to manage my miner - can we get this corrected ASAP please?

This is expected as Zo puts his end in maintenance mode and we take our end out of maintenance mode.  Give it a few minutes.

I see maintenance is complete, but now I can't reset my password which means I can't login (can you provide a way to change the password manually please. LastPass doesn't pick up the form you've got on the login page and I can't write to it.

We didn't even program password resets yet Smiley

Well, this transition should really be announced in advanced ... you can't just switch to a new server at a random time without even notifying the users ... you could at least send a short email to the providers and to the renters to announce this transition...

I managed to get in my searching through my emails for the password, but the "Administration" tab is unavailable.

Also, a bunch of miners are off, including mine. Probably because of the allowed ips thing.
I'm pretty sure I added the one you asked us to, but my rig is still off.
I'll update if I find anything new.

What do you mean you didn't program them yet? They've been working and here's a screenshot of your reset password page:

You can now simply replace old IP 89.212.242.33 with 23.236.58.114 in your cgminer config. That is the proper way to do it. Nothing should be broken and that is 1min work for everyone.

If you hate you have to relogin again as an admin or customer, there is one simple trick you can do while domains haven't refreshed yet. If using windows, open Notepad as administrator, then open file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

add following 2 lines:

Quote
23.236.58.114 leaserig.net
23.236.58.114 www.leaserig.net

After that, restart browser and it should work for you as if site never moved.

This mess is because LeaseRig has two separate logins - one for renter and one for leaser (provider).

The login for provider is only accessible via link http://23.236.58.114/?page=admin (there is no menu item/icon on LeaseRig maing page to this "provider login"). And once you're logged-in you can not change your provider's password.

The other login is for the renters (customers) - this is via the "LOGIN" menu item on the LeaseRig main page ... and when you're logged in as the customer (renter) you can change your password - but this only changes the password for your's "renter" account ... for the "provider" account still stays intact ...

That said - the first thing on the to-do list would be to merge those two accounts/logins into single one so that one "person" can be leaser&renter at the same time with one account ...

Problem fixed, miner can now be seen on leaserig.
There is some sort of a problem though, I'm getting this:
[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] API access lost at 31/03/2014 05:30:37!

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] Full API access became read-only access at 11/02/2014 2:18:52 AM!

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] I lost API access to a process in which I had it (PID: 2244). Attempting to restart CGMiner...

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] Restart CGMiner was requested, preparing to stop then start the miner to make sure its configuration settings are reloaded...

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] CGMiner process closed outside of CGWatcher!

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] CGMiner was successfully restarted.

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] Monitor check aborted after restart initiated: Privilege Loss.

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] Full API access became read-only access at 31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM!

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] CGMiner process closed outside of CGWatcher!

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] The miner is closed outside of CGWatcher and you've requested for me to ensure it stays running. Attempting to start...

[31/03/2014 05:30:37 PM] CGMiner started successfully.

Something seems to be wrong with the API access. Yes, I am using Method B and CGWatcher. I've stopped CGWatcher from restarting the miner, but those errors are still showing up.

Also login page for owners seems to be at
http://23.236.58.114/index.jsp?page=admin
Customers log on
http://23.236.58.114/index.jsp?page=login

so confusing  Shocked

Also, this migration have been announced days ahed, you can actually put more IPs in config, like
Code:
"api-allow" : "W:192.168.0.0/16,W:127.0.0.1,F:89.212.242.33,F:23.236.58.114",
"api-groups" : "F:switchpool:addpool:removepool:restart:save:*"
Not that it matters now when the migration is complete, but few of you could have avoided problems now.

THIS

Just create two user groups using a single sign in: Customers & Providers. Users with the "provider" tag will have access to the admin page.

Also, thank you Ken.  Smiley

Soooo, You don't want password resets or customer rigs to work?  Just easier logins?

Rig stats graphs show a period of downtime during the maintenance/transition/whatever just happened. I just added an hour to each of my customers but was there really any downtime?

Stats would have gone down for a bit but not the miners unless you restarted during the actual final transfer of the site.

I cannot access my admin panel. My usual password does not seem to work any more and the reset password option does not seem to be working right now.
