I almost feel your stress from having to fix this bug for the rest of the community to be able to have the BBCodes back to normalcy. It’s sure taking so much of you and I appreciate your not giving up too easy but rather putting in effort and resource to ensure we make the most of our use of the forum.

Exactly.  It isn't a big deal to use imgbb until Joker gets this all figured out, which I'm sure he will.  While it is nice to let him know when things go wrong, he is very actively working on this situation so we all just need to give him patience and use an alternative in the meantime.  Not the end of the world and it shows how valued his service is here.  Until Bitcointalk starts hosting their own images, 3rd party services like this are extremely beneficial for this community and Joker is great to put in so much time for us.

Yea, I'm with joker on this and I believe everything will return to normalcy. I remember when Imgur struck the forum and all links became invalid, joker's service gave us a resounding relief. Now he's fixing things up, we need be with him and provide all the necessary support. Besides, we have someone fixing the bug and reporting to us here in the forum, if it's a random hosting service, we might not even figure out if the issue would be solved because there won't be any frequent feedback.

If the attack is still going on in a few days, I'll consider measures like these:

 - Bitcointalk.org could add support for uploading images directly.

Or use talkimg api to upload images on bitcointalk using a button on forum's wysiwyg text editor, this can be done without going to talkimg website, thus it will look like uploading images directly on bitcointalk. Though this will require development and developer's resources.

Despite the complications that have been occurring in recent days, the project is alive and will continue. Proof of this was that in October we reformed the talkimg.com domain until 2030. Does this mean that the plans are only until 2030? Obviously not! We will reform the domain as good business opportunities arise. Probably in 1 or 2 years, we will renew again for more years.

This month I had also planned to start with the list of the most viewed images from the previous month. But, because of the events of the last few days, I will wait a bit to start with this list. I believe you will like what was planned, but you will have to wait a little longer.

That said, and despite the complications, here are the statistics for October. Thank you for your support.

I would like to clarify that uploads are paused due to server/host changes. Despite the login request appearing, when trying to upload, it is simply because the uploads are suspended. You will not need to create an account when the service resumes 100%. Everything will continue to work, as it has worked until now.

This change is taking place, due to recent events, and with the aim of continuing to provide a quality service for everyone.

I am pleased to inform you that uploads have reopened. You can now use TalkImg again to upload the images you want to use on the forum.

Some momentary instability may still occur, as some configuration adjustments may still have to be made. But, in general, everything is ok. The ZIP service is still closed, it should resume in a few days.

All users who have bots or other services connected to TalkImg can review their settings to see if everything works. If something isn't working, you can contact me so we can try to find a solution.

Once again, thank you for your support and understanding. I will soon provide more information about the project.

It's also offline here, I believe it's due to recent changes and it's just a matter of time for everything to work perfectly again.

DNS propagation is taking a little longer than expected. And there is also still some instability, as I still face remnants of the DDoS attack.

Try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page, as it will return to normal. If it still doesn't work, I'd appreciate a little more patience, as I'm trying to stabilize everything for everyone.

I'm having issue accessing since a day ago I thought it's a hosting limit.

If you are facing a DDOS attack, I think it's time to use Cloudflare. Since Cloudflare has a basic subscription, which is free with free Anti-DDOS, why not implement it to talkimg?
Cloudflare also has CDN that helps to counter DDOS attacks; the attacker only targets one server so that other users are not affected.

For me the access request to talkimg.com times out today. You likely didn't follow the past conversation but joker_josue does use Cloudflare already to mitigate the DDoS attacks. AFAIR, he even upgraded to paid Cloudflare services to have more fine control and tools to counter the shit that happened and still happens.

This is giving me a lot more struggle than I really imagined. But, I won't give up and continue trying to solve the problem.

Appreciate your interest and dedication in resolving the issue. I personally looking forward to see the site up and running since its bitcointalk.org centric. For this forum TalkImg.com is ideal site to upload image. I am waiting patiently for issue to resolve with no hurry. Hope site will be up very soon.
