We have no record of any problems with the services,...
(I'm going to take advantage of it, and complement what I said the other time here, that I didn't want to advertise,.... But, I usually upload photos, and they are always larger than 3.2mb, this on a weak device, setting to the worst quality, and then, I send it through whats app, and it already resizes automatically, and then I connect WhatsApp on the PC, copy the image and paste it on the talkimg.com, I already acoustum like this...)
The forum only accepts images up to 2.5MB. If the image is larger than that, neither the forum nor TalkImg will accept it.
You are not the only one who has this problem (I have it too).
So, I used an alternative -
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5568423.msg66173801#msg66173801I initially thought the file size was the issue, but after checking, I was convinced that couldn't be the cause (it's only a few kb). Uploading another file also failed. I suspected there was some kind of problem with talkimg, and your post only confirmed my fears.
It's not critical, and we'll wait until the problem is fixed. Fortunately, there is a saving alternative.
This is an error that keeps coming up once in a while. A few members have reported it here before and it got resolved. I think it's a small glitch that may soon be rectified. I also tried to check if the upload function was working, but I also got the same error. Something like;
...png - Request denied (401)
If you have the TalkImg tab open in your browser for too long, or if you don't refresh it after the previous upload, this type of problem may occur.
When this error occurs, what I usually recommend is closing the browser (or tab) and reopening it, so that a new connection to the server can be re-established.
In any case, if the problem persists, please let me know so I can try to investigate it in another way.
-So, I believe you didn't understand it well,...
I opened a parentheses, to tell you what I do to redeem the image before uploading it to Talkimg,
because, for security and to have a certain guarantee that they will not be deleted from the server,
so in this case, I said that I use Whats App and I already arrive at Talkimg with it smaller than 2.5m...
but, then, I'll give another example, when it becomes more difficult to do this through WAP, is when I already have an image saved somewhere and it's greater than 2.5,
So I'm going to put the image here on the server it's on, and it's over 3.3m, however, it appears, but I know that its url signature is temporary and it's going to expire, so knowing that, I copied the image, and threw it on imgbb, where I know that for pre-upload, they accept up to 32m, and I can resize it before uploading to less than 2.5., then follow the examples>
1, image large than 3m, on another server that i know that will expire>:

2, The same image of the server that will expire, but copied and resized in the IMGBB to less than 2M, before i'd up-load> :

...
I still think that the right thing would be for me to upload it to TalkIMG, however, I had no problem with images deleted from IMGBB, because I took a look at some of my oldposts with images and the only ones that were not deleted were from IMGBB, But even so, I'm still in doubt about moving to TALK-IMG...
-----------------------------------------------------------
-Now, about the error that the server was having yesterday or today ,(There was a problem on the website and it was temporary, it lasted about seven hours.) it does not refer to image size and or because the site has remained open without updating, because I always close or update it, just as I did several times when I saw this error happening, and then I also realized why ChartBuddy did not post his images for a period of seven or eight hours, It would be an indicator, because every hour he posts an image automatically, In addition to other users here also having reported the same problem, so I'll leave here the link to the last ChartBuddy post, before this problem happened and you can check the time and time he posted again,
lattest post ofchart buddy before server error it would be a good reference, so you don't think that the problem was on the side of those who reported.
I'm sorry for insisting on this, because I think that those who prefer to use talkIMG, think the same as I do, that the images will not be deleted, and want the small improvements, to avoid having to spend that time, using WAP, having to use another site to resize and then go to talkIMG to upload the photo.... because whether you like it or not, I'm here writing, because I believe in you, in a way trying to help you, and not to come here just to talk and imply, on the contrary, I'm giving you examples of where you can see how it works and adapt it to the site...
