OP updated in the Spanish thread too, and the explanation about last month's problems with the backup system and how they were solved also shared with my local colleagues here.

I'll write a PM to the translators outside the AoBT so they are also aware of the last data that should be updated.

I don't know if @joker_josue is giving anyone who asks an account and API key, but if he is... you can use this script to add a button that instantly uploads an image directly from the forum!

For transparency: since joker_josue is having trouble setting up CORS, this script uses a proxy I deployed to tunnel the requests. This means that I could technically read your talkimg api key when you make a request. Pinky promise that I don't, but realistically you can't never know.

You can always use your own proxy and change the url ("uploadUrl" variable).

I installed the script using my API key.
The upload icon appeared, but when I try to upload an image, the following error appears in the console:

I tried opening the link directly, but it gives me an SSL error.

Also, if you @joker_josue and @TryNinja would allow me, I'd like to use the script in my extension if it still works.

@TryNinja can you check the situation? Maybe it's something with the proxy, because of the changes to your domain.

Perhaps trying it without the proxy is possible. Changes were made to the TalkImg server settings some time ago, and maybe this add-on will work fine without the proxy.

I had the idea of ​​creating some kind of special event for the community, on behalf of TalkImg, but unfortunately I couldn't do anything, as I had already gone to bed in 2024. On the other hand, TalkImg was quite useful in the various events that took place on the forum, such as the pizza and pumpkin events. Maybe this year, 2026, I'll be able to come up with some interesting idea that can involve the community in another event.

Finally, I wanted to say that the update I've been talking about is practically finished. Now I need to find the time to release an update and verify that everything is working correctly. Perhaps you'll only be able to have that availability (as I want) in March or April. It will probably end up coinciding with TalkImg's 4th anniversary. Although initially I had the idea of ​​releasing it before then, other ongoing projects ended up not making it available. Can't wait for the update of what you want to do for Talkimg because I as a Talkimg user feel this is the best ghosting I've ever used to keep all my images on the forum from the beginning of the release until now.

The problem is probably localized within your device/browser or maybe Internet service provider.

Around two months ago, a few users reported the same issue with talkimg too. However, I just tried uploading an image to talkimg to see if it works and like logfiles I was also able to do that successfully without any issues.
Talkimg has always worked perfectly for me.

Reloading the website has tended to resolve the issue, whenever I have gotten that error in the last couple of years.
