Madrid is now in form and it now looks as if they have a better chance to win because for the past few weeks, they have been performing well and their attack is penetrating well and their defense as you said injuries have affected their defense system but even at that Madrid can not be underestimated, and currently in la liga Madrid is performing well so I don't see any reason to worry about them, and they don't even have any serious contenders in the champions league for now.

I agree with what you said. Madrid is the strongest team in the Champions League this season. This was really beyond my expectations because I thought they had lost a pure striker this season. Vini was truly able to perform extraordinary to replace Benzema's role as a striker. Overall they performed quite well in La Liga and the Champions League. I even think Madrid will win the La Liga and Champions League titles this season. Their only strongest rival in the Champions League is City if they are able to perform at their best with the return of KDB and Haaland.

When it comes to UEFA Champions League competition, it's weigh different from random domestic leagues because it's consider the tougher title in the European football world. The target of every potential elite club is winning the UCL but it can't just happen without overnight, there will be presence of immense hardwork. I'm in support with any team that can boldly become very consistent and recording streak winnings. Who cares about a club that doesn't stand strong enough to face challenges? Ofcourse everyone focuses on club that would be able to win matches without difficulties.

In this case, every strong club will always be taken into account by everyone, as well as every particular club that will face a strong club in the Champions League. Because everyone can see that after being able to get through the round of 16 and the round of eight in the Champions League because of those who made it to the quarter-finals, it certainly won't be that difficult to make predictions about which clubs will enter the final. But that is still too far away to talk about now because what all clubs are focusing on at the moment is getting through the round of 16.

I think their main target is to defend the title and maybe this is a priority compared to the Premier League, this is my view.

Moreover, Barcelona has quality players compared to Napoli, especially Napoli with a new coach, of course it takes time to adapt. Now as we are heading for the knock-out rounds debate is heated up who is going to qualify for the last eight with few matches are surely going to have huge interest for the all like this match Barcelona vs Napoli currently both clubs are struggling, but Barcelona is having enough quality and depth to go through this challenge because as we are watching right now Napoli is having the worst time with their performance and consistency is on decline, and they are not able to bring anything positive which give them some hope in last few matches their attack is badly failed to convert their chances which is creating more problems and change of coach is also not having any good change.

Xavi is surely doing impressive job, and we can expect they will learn from their recent mistakes and bring improvement which is important and their chances for the defending of title are also not good because in La Liga they are having not enough quality but here they can do better and having fair chance for the going into last eight.

Doesn't this apply to Real Madrid or Bayern? Bayern wins the Bundesliga every year and for them this is a routine/norm that they cannot fall below and every year they want to win the Champions League. Real won the Champions League three times in a row and 4 times in 5 years. It is difficult to imagine that at some point they will say “perhaps we have enough.” Each top team strives to win all tournaments in which it participates. As for personal meetings between them, I hope that City will be knocked out earlier and there simply won’t be any 

Of course it applies to both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, i just think what City have achieved in recent years is a little bit more special because i think the EPL is more competitive than the Bundesliga and also the La Liga. Bayern and Real Madrid have such a great history that is a dream to City, but i think the English champions are going to get there someday, the only problem is if Pep decides to leave soon, they would not be able to replace him, there is no manager who is better.

Having said that, i think now that City have won their first CL and the weight of not winning it has been removed from their shoulders, they are even more dangerous, now they play without any pressure and they can dominate the competition like they are doing in England.

City were champions before Pep and will be champions after Pep (of course, unless the League can punish them for 115 FFP violations and send them two divisions down, but I have little faith in this because only Everton can be punished). There is nothing special about him.
As for the pressure, I think this is just a feature of tournaments where there is a playoff stage - there is a lot of randomness. You can very effectively “buy” a round-robin tournament by flooding everything with money (in the long run your investment will outweigh everything else), but in the playoffs everything is possible.

Even though Inter are at the top of their league whilst Atletico aren't, both teams still have the capacity to make the game fierce for themselves. Both managers are good too and have got experiences too and their squad are good in their own separate ways.The game would be fierce, predicting a winner would be difficult and definitely both team odds are high.

 For their domestic leagues, Inter are still on top and there's not really much threats because they're able to subdue other teams even though the games are sometimes tough especially for Juventus following them closely, they've got a work to do to stay on top of they really want to lift the trophy. For Atletico, they've got 3 teams ahead, so their struggle will only be to finish in the top 3/4 spot because currently they've not gotten any glimpse at the trophy and I doubt that the teams ahead of them will give them the leisure.

Playoff games are always more difficult because the responsibility is higher, any mistake can be fatal, so teams play more carefully. This has always been the case for Porto, they are very dangerous at home and I'm a little surprised to see 4.5 at Porto at home. Arsenal is considered the favorite in this match with 1.78, but I would not risk betting on Arsenal to win in this match.

With what Inter is doing currently at their league,I predict them to get to the finals again of this competition,they are really serious about winning this trophy,and it might surprise people how they can win big teams and win it.I know not many people tip them to be a contender to the champions league trophy,but I believe so much in what they are doing,and how they are playing to be able to compete with the likes of Mancity,Madrid, Arsenal,Bayern and Dortmund for the trophy.I can't add PSG because they haven't shown that they can win this tittle because  they weren't doing well in their league,it is of recent that they have started  winning games.

If you think Manchester City winning the Champions League title this season will be boring, I think you only said it for the love you have for Real Madrid or because Real Madrid have been doing very well in the league so far, while Manchester City are just getting their performance back since the return of some of their key players. Experience works here but you have to also put in mind that the best team always win in the end. If Real Madrid won’t be in their best and allow Manchester City to pass through, they will win the title for another time in two consecutive seasons. This is football, an unpredictable and interesting game to watch, so you can’t tell the team that will make it to the finals over the other.

I will really love to see Real Madrid and Manchester City finals this season of the champions league, that will be the most talked about and most anticipated match if it happens this season. Let’s not forget that Bayern Munich are still in the picture of the Champions league and they are also potential contenders for the champions league trophy and they also have experience in the game like the other two clubs.
