Though Manchester City has lost their last two games, I think they're still one of the best clubs at the moment and one of the favourite teams to win the UEFA Champions League competition this season.
Pep Guardiola as we all know, knows how to manage his team and bring out the best from his squad. Rodri's absence in their last two matches has been a very big issue for the club but with the return of the Spanish player, the club is surely gonna bounce back to winning ways.

we cannot compare Man City performance in domestic league matches with UCL matches because Guardiola as a coach will manage his players very wisely, maintain the quality of his players performance and always perform perfectly in the UCL and even though they lose in the EPL, it does not mean that Man City will also be bad in the UCL match later but just look this season Man City is still the EPL title holder and also Man City will compete until the final round of the UCL.

If we talking about the performance between Galatasaray and Manchester United at their domestic league obviously Galatasaray was much better than Manchester United this because at Turkish league Galatasaray still unbeatable in the last 7 matches but in champion league Galatasaray performance was still far from what is expected because Galatasary was failed to win against weak team Kopenhagen FC in the first match

With the current squad and performance of Barcelona since the start of the season, it's very possible for them to finish the season as the UEFA Champions League champions.
Xavi Hernandez has been very instrumental to the team's success. He acts like he understands the body language of all his Barcelona players and knows the best way to use his players. The addition of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo during the summer transfer window has also improved the team's performance and if they continue to be give their best as they're currently doing, Barcelona might be the champions of Europe again

Xavi got a good team and I think this can be even better when you know, they had many financial issues and unlike Real Madrid, they couldn't spend millions of dollars and hire players. also, most of the players they got in this summer like  Joao Felix and Joao Cancel are playing there on loan and Xavi obviously aimed to achieve the goal they can get in the short term. So far in the Champions League, they had a good performance and I don't think if Barcelona will have any problem with passing the stage with Proto.

Here we have to praise Xavi and Barcelona management because they are doing this all in difficult situation and having impressive results which is big success for them and right now they have squad which can bring many successes in all leagues currently they are second in La Liga and surely now have fair chance to go into last four of the Champions League because their quality and performance is having consistency which is important for the success in big events.

In last season, Xavi was doing all work for the La Liga, and now they are strong enough for having good success in both competition with new blood João Félix and Joan Cancel are their best players in future which will bring more important success and consistency which is important in these circumstances.

I mean they even lost to Crystal Palace in Old Trafford. Therefore it looks like the problems are still at a serious level. I don't know if they can manage to play in the Champions League differently. For example if they continue to play like in the Bayern Munich match then they can stay strong there. But if we don't see it then maybe there might be some chance for Galatasaray to steal 1 point in Old Trafford.

Many doubt Manchester United, yes it is not wrong when we see how their performance is up and down, maybe in some matches they did win, but in terms of the game they are still far from good.

Communication like you rightly stated is key and it could be the reason Manchester united are suffering most of their ordeal in most games, and they keep fluctuating between victory and losses, if the defense line of Manchester united is observed careful the inconsistency in their communication could be noticed without any form of doubt.

Galatasaray may appear to be a weak team but they have got one very vital thing Manchester united lacks, as these players when observe have excellent communication amongst the team players on the pitch, this I think has been the reason behind their performance in their local league as they stand unbeaten since the season, they may not be really good at the champions league but they are in theirs.

The match between this two teams is going to expose the obvious that Manchester united lacks, but then I think it will not be easy on both teams as they would both want to give their best as this is a more competitive league as compared to their local leagues, if only Manchester united will get a better substitute for their two striker who seem to be their problem they could win this game with some goals.

United's problem is consistency and discipline, actually they have quite good players. However, it seems that the players are not playing solidly. I think Ten Hag has other additional work besides rebuilding his team's squad performance. he must make his team play solidly, he must take firm action to discipline it.
Previously, United was able to beat Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup. However, when they hosted in the Premier League, it seemed they were having difficulties because there was not good cooperation between their teammates. even though in the Premier League match, Ten Hag played his full squad. but in fact, United actually lost to Crystal Palace. United have not yet resolved the problems within their camp, the absence of Antony, the suspension of Shanco, means they have to lose several players.

On the other hand, Galatarasay is not a very strong team for them to beat.
So, Ten Hag must bring his team to get full points. Moreover, the match was held at Old Trafford. However, before the match against Galatarasay, Ten Hag must evaluate his players to achieve what he hopes. now, the dressing room issue is Ten Hag's priority, IMO.
