Liverpool and Arsenal also started the season with a win by the same scores, 2-0. If you ask me about whose game I liked the most, I would say Arsenal honestly.

The bigger clubs that competed in this first match, they all managed to win from their opponents. This was a satisfying first match though.

This is quite an interesting match between Newcastle vs Southampton. Fabian Schar got a red card in the 28th minute. So Newcastle played with only 10 players, their ball possession dropped drastically, their defense was very threatened, but they were able to take advantage of the only opportunity to score a goal and were able to defend the goal from many opponent attacks. Cool, for Newcastle.

That was gritty from Newcastle United, playing with a man down & winning is no small feat tbh. The red card was a curious decision tho, I still don’t get it. After Fabian Schar was sent off, I expected Southampton to win that game with the way they were pressing 10-man Newcastle till the end of the game.

Kudos to Eddie Howe and get his team, they kept Southampton at bay and didn’t concede any goal till the end of the game. If they didn’t score before the red card, i think it would have been very difficult for them to grab that 3 points.

And now, no more complaints about Liverpool's transfer policy. This after they got three points against Ipswich. Though adding a new player is also vital to avoid injuries. But, it seems the slot feels confident in his current lineup. And so we have nothing to complaint.

But still we saw a good start by Liverpool. Ipswich are one of the new members of the PL this season. I was expecting them to be more ambitious but we didn't see anything particular. Maybe they get used to the league in time.

Though Liverpool started the league on winning note against Ipswich Town, however I won't rate their opponent as a formidable opponent because they are a newly promoted club and bound to struggle in the league as you stated they are new comers and would struggle to avoid getting relegate,  however until Arne Slot side play a strong team like Chelsea,. Man City, Man Utd or Arsenal and the outcome of the march would determine how they would perform in the league this season, hopefully before the end of the transfer win when they play one of the strongest EPL club and lost Arne Slot might be forced to sign new quality players for now they are not tested yet to be counted among the title favorite.

Many people say that this is not a real match for Liverpool, because their opponents were not tough, only newly promoted teams that still adapt on premier league. the real match will be come when they meet MU on next 2 week. But at least, even if their opponent is not strong, Slot was proved if he can adapt well with the atmosphere premier league. all issues he denied well after made the big winning, 2-0. I think with this winning, Liverpool was made good initial capital to the next step. The big team on premier league will watch them carefully.

Anyone that says that that this game isn't a real football matches is just one of the Liverpool haters that didn't expect Liverpool to win easily and convincingly, we all know that their is no easy game in the English premier league, and as such, every football matches should be taken with alt most seriousness, so why would any that is not a hater would come and be saying that because it's a newly promoted side, it's not a real contest? Well till his or her beloved team plays Ipswich at away from home, they shouldn't rule Ipswich out completely because their is no easy game in the English premier league.

Lastly, even someone that isn't that much into football will definitely know that the upcoming games between Liverpool vs Manchester united is going to be way challenging to this Liverpool side than their game against Ipswich, because Manchester united is also a big side, so it would be like the battle of the Titans, but it's actually going to be a fascinating encounter between these to teams two weeks from now.

I hope Chelsea can give a surprise in the next match to win the match against Man City, although it is impossible but in this important match Chelsea will work in class and prove itself capable of competing with other big clubs that have previously won their matches well such as Liverpool, Man United, Aston Villa, Brighton, Arsenal, who got good results in their first match in the Premier League this season.

Now let's look at this points table from most of the clubs that were favored in yesterday's match all managed to get 3 points, while Man City is the favorite to hold the EPL title again this season which is unlikely to start the season with a bad performance.
Logically it doesn't make sense if Chelsea is able to beat Man City or hold a draw because I still believe Pep Guardiola has mastered a new strategy and knows the weaknesses of every club in the EPL that are easy to beat.
Hope my multi bet wins this time,  Arsenal and Liverpool managed to give me a win on my multi bet and now waiting for the Man City match to give me a win.

Arne Slot succeeded in bringing Liverpool to get their first 3 points this season and of course this was a very good start for Liverpool, but even so, Arne Slot journey to bring Liverpool to the championship path is still too long and one win is not enough for us to confirm whether Liverpool this time in good hands, the victory over Ipswich Town doesn't prove anything for Arne Slot because after all they only faced a team that had just been promoted and didn't face a strong team that will be a contender for the title this season, but even so, at least it was a this win could be a good start and also motivation for them to be able to perform even better in the next match against Brentford and Manchester United in the third week of the English League this season.

It was actually a good start from Arne slot thou Ipswich made Liverpool team to work hard for the three points which I least expect. Liverpool played poorly in the first half but the second half performance was a bit impressive but there's still more work to be done especially in the finishing and counter attacks in order to beat stronger teams than Ipswich who are just coming into the league.

A good result for Liverpool in their opening match but this is not an exaggeration because Ipswich is not an equal opponent for Liverpool, if you look at the strength of both teams it is natural that Liverpool won easily in their first match.

Liverpool’s performance is also not bad, it is Arne Slot’s first Premier League match, it shouldn’t go smooth because of his in experience in the Premier League, but we also don’t expect them to lose to such teams easily because the team is still ranked  among the top four teams to finish in the Champions League spots this season.

I didn’t expect such performance from them in the first game but i guess Ipswich town are not more of a challenge since they are not used to the premier league atmosphere yet, it was supposed to be an easy win though. I just like the way they played, their chances creating strategy was not bad and they were more on the attack. There will be challenges but I think they should be able to make top 4.

As other teams are getting three points, Chelsea and Manchester City are to play against each others tomorrow, it simply means that one of them will either lose or they draw the match, therefore, one of them or the two of them have to be behind these remaining top teams.

It’s really unfortunate that they will be facing each other this early because getting 3 points at the beginning of the season is important to help lift the spirits of the players to perform better in upcoming matches. Every other big team have managed to win. It’s difficult to predict a winner today but even though Manchester City looks more likely to win than Chelsea judging from their pre season performances.

I do not believe in the words of Pep Guardiola who says he has no motivation to win the title at the end of the season. His words are contrary to the aim of the team and coach in general. Each team spent large amounts of money just to get achievements at the end of the season. The large amount of money is used to bring in players even to bring in coaches. So, when Manchester City management brought in it also targeted a trophy. Is it possible that Pep was recruited not for that?
For me, it was only a strategy or it was an arrogant message that he had won everything with Manchester City.

Anyone who's known Pep Guardiola and his antics over the years will agree to the fact that he's very good at playing mind games so I wasn't surprised to see him say that there's no motivation to win the English Premier League at the moment during his pre-match conference with the press. I think he just said that so Chelsea manager and player will expect less from them while they prepare to be at their best when they face Chelsea in less than one hour time. Just like the people you mentioned, Pep Guardiola is also one manager who's never satisfied of winning trophies and matches so I would never believe such statement that came from him.

They look really lovely.    Every team has its unique animation which is nice to see. Maybe it would be the start of seeing similar things in other European leagues as well.

Yes, Arne Slot has indeed proven that he can help Liverpool win their first match in the Premier League. However, many people will not be satisfied because it is not a very tough match for them. The win was important for Liverpool at the start of the season, but of course it will not be a benchmark that Arne Slot is a really good coach to replace Klopp. There are many tough matches that will await Liverpool in the coming weeks, so we'll just have to wait and see how the slot process at Liverpool goes this season.

Fabian Schar messed up. I asked myself always if that act was really necessary. Honestly, in my opinion he shouldn't have done that. Up in my head, I don't feel like it was meant to be red carded but the match officials has also done their own part of every. It was great of them to see that they went ahead to win that game after the goal for joelintino.

Well, I don't think I have seen enough of how good Arne Slot has been for Liverpool but I will pay close attention next week most definitely

Chelsea has  many brought their main squad today, and they even brought a lot of strikers today to face Manchester City, but their weakness lies in their very poor defense and the two goals that were scored did not show any hard work from the Chelsea defenders for prevent that the goal happen.

What? Chelsea should recruit some more players? In fact, Chelsea has bought or has many players in its squad, but you still don't seem satisfied. Because at this moment Chelsea's problem is about  having a lot of players but not succeeding in having good performance,and Chelsea also always fires coaches and this also makes it difficult for Chelsea to develop well. Because every time Chelsea has a new coach, then ofcourse they will start building the team from scratch again.

So yes, in this case the problem is that Boehly is not confident in the coach he has, so Chelsea always fire their coaches. With problems like that,Chelsea should be more patient with a process that is not fast,  because if they fire their coach again later, then Chelsea will remain the same and will never  succeed in recovering.
