Man Utd has received their first defeat of the season on a visit to the American Express Stadium today, Brighton Football club.
I never expected Manchester United to start losing in this early stage of their games, especially losing against a team like Brighton, it would have been better off if they had tried to get a draw, they had a bit of lapses in this game which led to their lost and they should try to work it out in their next line of games, basically in their defense line and their frontline players, while their midfield for now is a bit ok.

Whereas for the remaining games on going,  Manchester City has continued to showcasing why they're the defending champions, and are currently leading with a 3-1 at their home soil as it was half time.

It is a very interesting game between Tottenham and everton but it is not really going down well with Everton as they end the first half of the game, Tottenham 2 goals and Everton 0. It is going to be very painful if Everton will loss to Tottenham without scoring a goal that is if Tottenham will win on a clean sheet against Everton considering the fact that Everton lost on a clean sheet in their previous match with Brighton with 3 goes to 0 in their home, indeed it is going to be a begining for everton to loss two consecutive matches without a single goal.

Everton have been really involved in the second half of the match. They attacking play have been impressive. They’re getting closer to the box now than they did through out the first half.

They lack the final ball touch to give them a goal. Sean Dyche should make a change that can give them at least a goal, so they can be into the game now.
They won’t be able to whole themselves when Tottenham start playing well to score more goals.

Based on anticidents, Brighton have always been that team that always tends to cause upsets of this nature that always makes the top clubs become weary whenever they are to play against them, Manchester United on the other hand didnt show much intensity nor character as regards their approach for today's game against Brighton FC, i think they were better off against fulham than they were today against Brighton, they had lesser chances on goal, fewer shots on target and less dominance and possession of the ball, they let the opponents take the lead twice, I must say that they deserved to lose and the time of the loss is not surprising to me and as a matter fact is good for the coach so that he could start some early adjustments going forward.

 For Manchester city, I think they continue to show class and confidence as they keep possessing the ball from end to end, using the wings and the midfield to get through to their opponents.

The defeat suffered by Manchester United of course surprised many people but not for me, because in the last few seasons Brighton has been a team that often gives Ten Hag nightmares, although currently Ten Hag has brought in several new players, but the defeat against Brighton indicates that They are still not strong enough and compact enough, defense was previously Manchester United main problem, but if we look at today match, seem Manchester United has not fixed this problem even though they have brought De Light and Mazraoui into their squad.
Btw, I saw McTominay played in that match, Isn't it reported that he is currently in the process of moving to Napoli?
Jadon Sancho isn't even in the Manchester United squad, what this indicate he will leave for Juventus?

From the beginning to the end of the game it did not go well for Everton, two goals before first half have already shown that they will be unable to win Tottenham, their are games that from the beginning you will be able o decide who is going to win or not, Tottenham have similar moves with Brighton when the season starts they are always on heat and the goals would have been more than 4 because Tottenham have seven shots on target, and second had they scored the two goals before the game ended. I love early season in the premier league because a lot of things are happening, and clubs that will make the top three have not even started their own display yet all this are not new we see this every season, people even go to the extent of convincing their self that clubs like Brighton and Tottenham might win the trophy but in their dreams their is no way they can win. When the big dogs are yet to start.

I really liked Tottenham and Manchester City today. Both were rock solid.    But I wasn't surprised with the scores. You know what situation Everton are in now. They might really relegate this season. Ipswich are just trying to adapt to the league and they have already faced 2 big teams. A 2-1 loss by Manchester United... Erik ten Hag is getting closer to the end of the road slowly.

Aston Villa v Arsenal has started. I hope Arsenal win but it looks like a really hard one.    I'd like to remind you that they couldn't beat Aston Villa in the league last season.

I was quite surprised by Man United's defeat yesterday, because many people expected that Real Madrid could win easily in that match, but unfortunately Brighton might be a little strong with the abilities he has and can beat with 2-1, it's really extraordinary.

I think you underestimate Brighton, but for me Brighton is one of the most unpredictable teams in the Premier League, they are sometimes strong and sometimes weak, and their performance is always up and down, so it can't be underestimated about this team, even for Manchester City is quite confused, but its first defeat in the second match, I hope the Man United squad can learn from their mistakes.

There's problem with Manchester United and one doe not have to sugarcoat it. Starting off this wrongly is not what should be expected of them and it is not setting a good tone for them this season. While Brighton have not taken Manchester United easy in the past with the way they defeated Manchester United consecutively last season, I didn't expect that to happen this season especially since this was their first challenge together and the last time both clubs met, Manchester United won.  Manchester United fans will be deeply disappointed with this outcome now. For the Brighton club, this is a good outing. The last match the club had was won by them and they were also able to win today's match two making them second in the league table below Manchester City.

Today's match is meant to proof something to me, that Arsenal is ready to take the league this season or not. I know it's difficult to begin to discuss who wins or not this moment, but it is a good signal when a flight is taken from the safest angle, that is, when Arsenal works hard from the beginning ahead of the end of the season. Manchester City have shown that in their two games this season by winning both. I hope Arsenal can show same energy here.

It was a sad defeat for Manchester United when we were even thinking that they have somehow improve after winning there first match against Fulham, however there match against Brighton today was not even that difficult for them in terms of performance but they could not score, though if they had prevented Brighton from scoring the first goal they did the match would have just ended in draw instead losing because this early time of the season is the right moment for every clubs to keep wining and gather a lot of points because as the season is going that's how the premier League is getting more tougher so any club who fail to be consistent now is obviously not going to secure a nice position on the table.

However congratulations to Brighton because they have played very well, though the wining was not expected because the match was just about to end before they scored and they are also fortunate to have a good midfielders, however in the case of Manchester United I'm still trying to reason how there next match against Liverpool will turn out because already Liverpool is very strong and there matches against Manchester United is not always easy and currently they stand on a better chance on that match, so if Manchester United lose the natch it will be very bad for them but if they had win there match today it would have not actually been much of a big deal losing against Liverpool.

Arsenal are playing terrible now. I mean especially in the 2nd half, things have got worse. Aston Villa are playing way better by creating more goal chances. But Arsenal still managed to score somehow with a very low xG.  

There are still around 15 minutes left and it is surely going to be difficult to maintain the advantage. No matter Arsenal win or not, one thing is certain that this performance needs to be improved way much. They look really desperate. I know it is a tough away game but still you know... I want to see them champions this season. The road going to the trophy is pretty bumpy and they need to put more effort every time.

EDIT: Arsenal have just scored 2 haha. It is unbelievable, this really shows once again football is not only a game of statistics.

It is very annoying to discover the fact that Manchester United lost to Brighton. However, I admit that Brighton is not an easy team to beat, especially because today they are playing at their home ground. Ten Hag seemed to have run out of solutions to get 3 points in that match, but losing in injury time really hurt.

In my opinion, placing Bruno Fernandes in the center forward position is not a good solution, of course because I think Bruno can play better as an attacking midfielder. Playing Joshua Zirkzee is a good solution for Ten Hag instead of benching him, but he has his own decisions. In the next match, Ten Hag will have to put more trust in Joshua Zirkzee to appear in the first minutes and I can definitely expect a different performance from Manchester United.

Manchester united result today was not encouraging though there performance today wasn't that bad I mean they posses Brighton in the first half, losing second leg in the beginning of season for a club like Manchester united is not a nice one at least they should've draw the game and I think one of the reason they lose the match is because of the coach, he knew that Bruno Fernandes is not a finisher yet he keep on using him there which is not working out very well for him because Bruno is a midfielder he always run back to his normal play position and the second mistake from ten hag was changing Bruno who is the prime mover of the club I wonder who he wanted to be distributing pass, I think Manchester united players and the coach need to work on themselves. Manchester City is a very big club I mean one of the best club in the whole world, no matter how strong a club is Manchester City will always humble them imagine coming from behind to bit Ipswich within a short period they conceded mean while this was same Ipswich that played first half draw with Liverpool.

I was not surprised with the defeat. United are not ready and they will have a long way to go if they want to get to the top. Like I always say, I have never had faith in Ten Hag to take them to that position.
Look at what he did in his line up. Bruno who happens to be the most creative midfielder in Manchester United was been played as a false 9. This might not have been so stupid if they had wingers like prime Mane and Salah that could score, but the wingers were Rashford and Amad.
It is just my opinion, but Ten Hag doesn't strike me as that guy and he still believed he should be replaced, but I like how United as not rushing that decision. They need to take their time and find a suitable replacement.

Aston Villa will be welcome Arsenal to Villa Park, tomorrow. This is going to be their first home game of the season.
We all know it’s going to be a very tight one for the Gunners. Emery men defeated both Manchester City and Arsenal here last season in two consecutive games. They approached that game like they were on a mission to win something special.

I can't wait to watch the match whether this season Arsenal can avenge their defeat last season which was defeated by Aston Villa in their 2 meetings, Aston Villa recruited a lot of players this summer so I think the performance is a little different whether better or worse but the fans' hopes must want to see Aston Villa win at home to beat The Gunners, I actually support Arsenal to win this match but it seems quite difficult I think a draw is a fair result for them to share 1 point.

It's clear that Arsenal is better than almost every team in the league, except maybe City but to be fair I believe that they are better than City too, just that they are not as consistent. The difference is that Arsenal can play better than City, but also does play worse than City too, City has a level and keeps playing at that level every single game, worse team best team doesn't matter who they meet, they play the same ball whereas Arsenal plays amazing one game, could be sucking another game, which is their trouble.

You bet on them to win against weaker opponent, and suddenly they lose points out of nowhere, which is why it's quite tough and I think it needs to be something that needs to be a lot more careful when betting on them.

I don’t think anyone here can actually agree less with your opinion, Brighton have actually been a menace to Manchester United but let’s come off a team that actually wants to win wouldn’t be as static as Manchester United. First off it is clear that the team can not contain both Mount and Bruno Fernandez and Ten Hag needs to know this. It is either he plays one of them or play one two with one playing the wings. Today Manchester United were just kicking the ball without finding any striker because Bruno was not there to be found. Another biggest challenge is ten Hag is hanging on to Rashford well too much, man needs to be bench for a player like Gernacho who is more direct.

Today I feel the game was lost because of Ten Hag wrong decisions, apart from the starting line which was wrong the substitutions were definitely not it, you need a goal and you’re taking Bruno out and the frustrating thing was for a static MacTominnay who can’t move a ball forward. The midfield had a Casemiro who was tired and a Kobbie Mainoo who was on a yellow card, Seriously he needs to take Blame for this loss it is too early to start dropping points

Oh no ooh indeed it was a terrifying revenge against Aston Villa from the gunners, Arsenal won by 2 goals to 0 against Aston Villa, the goals was scored by Leandro Trossard and Thomas partey, Arsenal revenge was intensive after remembering their loss at Villa park last season, although Aston Villa performance was not that bad considering the fact that Arsenal team wasn't an easy club to ride on, it is a good start for Arsenal this season for winning two straight matches without conceiving any goal, just as they also defeated wolves by 2 goals to 0 last week.

For me, inasmuch as they weren't able to score a single goal through out the entire match, I saw nothing interesting in what they played today, because ever since the season started, never have they scored a single goal in both matches they have played, and yet keeps giving room for more goals from it's opponents, just like the last match they played with Brighton with ended 3 goals to Nill, and come today again, another 4 goals to Nill. So on that note, I think it's high time Sean Dyche just need to come up with a more strategic plan in forthcoming match.

Although at first I also doubted Arsenal because Aston Villa is clearly not an easy opponent and moreover Aston Villa is also playing at home. Also, considering Aston Villa managed to beat Arsenal last season, it made me quite hesitant to bet on Arsenal to win. Because I think Aston Villa is certainly capable of winning or maybe just a draw but with both teams to score goals. But in fact, Aston Villa really got a deadlock in this match, even though in fact Aston Villa also played well considering the existing statistics.

But yes, because I am also still quite sure that Arsenal is still able to compete strongly in the fight for the trophy. Thus, I personally still choose Arsenal to win and getting results like this certainly makes me happy too. Because Arteta also managed to make Arsenal have good performance and trends at the beginning of this season. Of course, results like this will be a good start for Arsenal to be in the fight for the Premier League trophy this season.
