Manchester united victory in their first match of the season was good but the scores wasn't impressing because they had a lot of chances that they would've make the goals plenty though Fulham bit them in their last match and Manchester united winning against Fulham was a lucky one. Rashford performance this period is really not encouraging I mean it's poor, he barely break the defense to score  and even when he does or a pass is been given to him, he always mess up. I can still remember when Rashford was hot he can't play without scoring 1or 2 goals but I don't know what has come over him and I think his coach loves him so much, I believe if Ten hag will keep him on bench for sometime he will definitely improve so that he won't be benched next time. That's why I like Manchester city coach he doesn't look at face if your performance is not given you will be benched no matter your record. League just started let see how the next match will look like.

I agree that Manchester United victory in the first match was purely luck because in terms of quality there was nothing impressive at all. Then in the second match it was clear that Manchester United were even more disorganized. This is a bad sign if a club as big as Manchester United continues to experience defeat when they are most active in bringing in players. There is no harm in temporarily concluding that Manchester United recruitment has had no impact. And next week could be an inevitable defeat, Liverpool must be looking forward to the match to destroy the mentality of Manchester United players and Erik Ten Hag. The real threat is before their eyes.

As usual Man City have clamb ontop of premier league table again this season after beating Ipswich town 4 -1 yesterday I think they are going to take premier league title again this season, because looking at the premier league now I don't really think if any club would be able to defeat them.

Because as long as england premier league is concerned Man City still remains the best club. However, I think the only club I see that will only stop man city from taking the premier league title this season is only Arsenal because they would like to correct their past mistake.

After Arsenal’s match yesterday against Aston Villa, I’m very much convinced that they’re well equipped to win the league. This game was anything but straightforward. Villa  had them on the rope too many times. I knew it was never going to be easy. But they had to find a way to pick up the 3 points.

Arsenal are not even premium yet and they kept back to back clean sheets, they conceded too many shots in the two games,

And saying they should improve in defence does not mean they didn’t do well defensively last season. Two truths can coexist but they still conceded some silly goals last season. They can cut out the mistakes and suddenly they have improved. I’m optimistic that they will get better as the season progresses.

The manager is got everything putting in something to give them the results they want. The whole team woke up in the second half yesterday. It was a beautiful sight especially Partey goal. That’s how you win difficult games to give you the confidence you need to win a big title.

Oh no ooh indeed it was a terrifying revenge against Aston Villa from the gunners, Arsenal won by 2 goals to 0 against Aston Villa, the goals was scored by Leandro Trossard and Thomas partey, Arsenal revenge was intensive after remembering their loss at Villa park last season, although Aston Villa performance was not that bad considering the fact that Arsenal team wasn't an easy club to ride on, it is a good start for Arsenal this season for winning two straight matches without conceiving any goal, just as they also defeated wolves by 2 goals to 0 last week.

A lot of people underestimated us and look at Arsenal now am sure even Manchester City will be mindful of us this season i know people will be like this what Arsenal fans are always saying but believe me this season is going to be different and this is the time we are going to win the title, I have a good feeling that something is going to be distinct about this season. last season Aston Villa was a matching opponent that was given almost everyone difficulty and even stopped us from winning the title last season so now it is a clear warning that there won't be any obstacle for us this season. In the first half, I was already scared that they wouldn't be a goal, and look at the surprise Arsenal did to them during the second half. I know a lot of anti arsenal will already be happy that we are not going to win especially Chelsea and Manchester United fans, we would have given them 4:0 instead but let us reserve the goals for the next match.

Arsenal's next games:

Arsenal - Brighton

This will be a tough opponent that could steal points from Arsenal, something like making Arsenal draw.

Tottenham - Arsenal

I see it as an easy game for Arsenal, but they shouldn't underestimate the disastrous Tottenham.

Manchester City - Arsenal

This will be Arsenal's toughest game and without a doubt losing this game will affect Arsenal's chances of winning the title, but if they win then Arsenal will be at the top of the table and they just need to be consistent and not make the same mistakes they made in the last 2 seasons when they were at the top, until near the end of the league, but then they made mistakes that made them lose the title. Speaking of Arsenal's misfortunes, I read news that Gabriel Jesus is injured.

In recent seasons, luck has not been on Gabriel Jesus' side. He has not been able to play much during the seasons. Injuries are destroying his career. He is not even playing for the Brazilian national team. Fortunately, Arsenal has been able to cope well with Gabriel Jesus' absence. As a Liverpool fan, I am convinced that Liverpool will beat Arsenal and Manchester City and become champions. That is why I hope that the game between Manchester City and Arsenal ends in a draw and that Liverpool wins all the next games to stay at the top of the table.

There first game is usually suppose to be a motivation and Manchester to me did not do well when they played against Fulham because even their winning was towards the ending of the game so a lot of things are their that can be used to checkmate the performance of Manchester United. A lot of people thought that after acquiring a defender the game of Manchester United would have changed but their is only a slight difference and that is because games are just starting, and they lost the second one and that is the best that Manchester United's can do and I pity does that their expectations are high of Manchester United, with what they are seeing by now they should have concluded in their mind what the result of Manchester United will end up looking like.

By the way I couldn't watch Brighton - Manchester United live but watched the recap later. That disallowed goal because of Zirkzee's being in the wrong place at the wrong time... That could have really been the winning goal for them.  

Man I was fummin but it's what it is right now and there's nothing we can do about it. This is just match day two and the way fans are calling for Erik Ten Hag to be sacked is just crazy.

I was expecting them to call out Harry Maguire for making double blunders and also the selection of Erik Ten Hag not going ahead to say they should show him the exit.
People and fans who say that are not just made but also dumo in the head without a proper knowledge of football. In between, they fail to think and analyse for themselves.

Next game against Liverpool, it's either Joshua Zirkzee starts as a number nine or Marcus Rashford. Garnacho shouldn't be dumped on the bench please.

This is the first biggest win this season in the Premier League. Chelsea played very well, they were very effective in building attacks and they deserved this victory. Wolves also did not play badly in the first half, they were able to provide such tight resistance, but in the second half Chelsea were able to fix their game so that they were successful with the goals they managed to create.
If they can maintain their game like this, then it is not impossible that they will be able to compete at the top this season. But the problem is we still don't know how consistent they are in maintaining the game. Consistency is still a problem for some clubs, and maybe that could also happen to Chelsea this season.

Brentford is one of the weakest teams out there (at least on paper) so it's hardly a test. Liverpool will be playing away against Man Utd next week, if they win, that will be a good indicator of their form and on whether or not they will be serious contenders to reach for the title this season.

After Jorgen Strand Larsen's goal towards the end of the second half, I thought Chelsea had come with its normal performance. The club has a culture of giving out cheap goals each time they are ahead. But the second shocked me because it seemed Enzo Maresca did something extraordinary in the dressing room. Chelsea came out blazing in the attack. They showed so much class and took all the available opportunities at their disposal leading to four goals in the second half.

Noni Madueke was the biggest star today but it wouldn't have been possible without the golden Cole Palmer. The English international Palmer will be one of the biggest stars this season if he continues with this quality. His second goal was a beauty, looping over the Wolves goalkeeper, José Sá.  

Chelsea showed lots of improvement in the attack but the defence was not encouraging especially in the first half. They were not able to handle setpeices which led to the two goals. Wesley Fofana and Malo Gusto didn't communicate very well in the first half but the second half was better. A good performance from Nicolas Jackson and congratulations to the super sub Joao Felix. But they need to replicate this performance when they meet big clubs.

Just a few minutes to the final whistle, and Arne Slot's side is still leading by 2-0 at Anfield, it is almost certain that they will win the match because they are the dominant side and they have performed credibly well in the match as we can see.

I am surprised by Arne Slot's performance, he didn't sign any player and he is doing very well because he has yet to lose any match since joining the team which is a very good record for him, especially after playing his second Premier League match without losing.

Although, just as you said, Brentford is not more a tough team in the EPL, they lost their value, especially after selling some of their important players, but yet, they won their first match against Crystal Palace. Congratulations to Arne Slot on his second win in charge if Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp's successor.

Many observers were basically worried about Manchester United's defeat in the match against Brighton before the match. It all has a basis, of course they reviewed Manchester United's previous performance when they faced Brighton. It was proven that Brighton could win the match in the end even though they were actually lucky to score a goal due to a team injury. So in essence, Manchester United's defeat on the road doesn't really surprise me.

There are important problems that Ten Hag must resolve if he wants to improve Manchester United's performance. He should be able to organize and choose a good line-up before the match instead of putting a lot of trust in players who are performing poorly. I don't think Rashford has improved, even Bruno Fernandes is not that impressive. Ten Hag must take responsibility for this defeat and he must dare to appear different in the next match.

Going by the rules of the game, Joshua Zirkzee's position and reaction at that moment made it an obvious offside so there's little we can actually do about it. If the goal has stood, I think Manchester United would've probably won the game or at worst go   home of Brighton with a point but it didn't and the home team had to score few minutes later to grab all three points from the game.
Manchester United I think should be worried with their performance in the game and must significantly improve if they really want to contest for the league title this season.

Mhan, the game was tough and hilarious at the same time...
Rashford's goal was canceled since it was clearly an offside and the pain went straight to united fans...lol
Zirkzee got intercepted in garnacho goal and again, that was an offside .. looks to me like United had a bad turnover and luck was far from them.

Well on the other hand, the assist from mitoma that led to welbeck's goal was finesse... Passing just right after harrys foot into their competition, it was a goal!! Brighton really had a upper hand in the game and their touches were superb. That has made them stronger in their ^2nd position in the table.

Mad game from Chelsea. We lost 4-2 in a bad game at Wolves in away game last year. But it's now paying off. This is going to be an up and down year for Chelsea. Outstanding performance from Chelsea's attackers; they're fast and have better accuracy. But still, their defensive line is terrible to watch.

I think if Maresca plays Lavia for Enzo and Netto for Mudryk, they will do better. Netto's injury-prone nature always overshadows us. But, despite playing for a short time, he contributed a lot.

And i haven't seen a Chelsea team as fluid as this in years. We'll need to sort the defense out though, then we're ready to face the strict competitions for UCL spot.

Crystal Palace hosted West Ham at home.Crystal Palace were the favorites at home but they were not at their best compared to their opponents.West Ham won the match with second half goals and got their first win but Crystal Palace got their second defeat.
Southampton lost at home to Nottingham Forest.Although Southampton had more possession at home, it was not normal for Nottingham Forest to shoot 4 times more than their opponent away from home.Nottingham Forest tried to find goals only with shots and they were successful in this.Neither team had a win before this match and Nottingham got their first win.

There is no doubt that Chelsea's players performed well today. Although the first half ended 2-2, the Chelsea players completely dominated the match from the beginning of the second half. Especially in the second half, Noni Madueke scored a hat trick in just 14 minutes. Madueke scored his first goal in the 49th minute and his third in the 63rd minute. And the last goal of the match was scored by Joao Felix.

Chelsea played very well indeed. But we saw such a performance of Chelsea in the previous season as well. This team has played well in several matches in the previous season as well and won by a big margin. However, Chelsea's performance throughout the season was erratic. It was impossible to predict in which matches Chelsea's players would perform well. If Chelsea's performance continues to be this erratic this season, we won't see Chelsea in the top four of the table.

Top work by Chelsea today! They really destroyed Wolves especially thanks to their second half performance. I don't know what Enzo Maresca told his players but it seems like it worked a lot. 

This is just the Chelsea I would like to watch. I wouldn't like to get complacent though but this big win must give some confidence to the team. This shows they can win hard against weaker teams on paper.

I would like to see this spirit in big games at the same time. You know the Manchester City game on the first week. I wish they were able to score at least.    But hopefully they get more effective in such games as time goes on.

Liverpool really enjoyed themselves at home, i didn’t believe they would comfortably beat Brentford this way, they dominated the game all through they created a lot of chances but were able to convert just two which was enough for them to take all 3 points and proceed on their title charge. They have not really been tested so far because they have been playing against weak teams. Let’s see how Slot and his boys will perform against a worthy opponent, they will be playing Manchester United next weekend which is more of a test than their past opponents. United are not at their best yet but they are capable of testing Liverpool and will show how improved and ready Liverpool is this season.

Couldn’t miss it for any reason. I was surprised how Chelsea ended up winning the game with such goal margin after struggling throughout the first half, Wolves were the better side in the first half and they managed to equalize every goal they conceded in the first half but they couldn’t bring same energy in the second half.

Chelsea still need some improvement to do especially with their new tactics, the first half showed that they are yet to perfect it but i believe they will soon. Good performance from Chelsea they should build on the momentum and improve their game.
