I don’t consider Inter Milan returning for Onana as a wise decision after selling him out to Manchester United, not even that he has impressed with Manchester United in his stay so far so I don’t see reasons to want Onana back as number one goalkeeper choice for Inter Milan next season there are other choices in the market, Martinez from Aston Villa is also available this summer.

It’s not a secret anymore that Liverpool are still interested in signing Alexander Isak, his been there number one target up front even before signing Ekitike, Now he has told Newcastle that he wants to access his options in the transfer market and it’s not like he submitted a transfer request, and Newcastle already in search of replacement knowing that Liverpool will be sending a British record deal soon.
And it seems Liverpool's plans to acquire Isak won't be that smooth. Several other clubs are also interested, but Newcastle are determined to keep him. The transfer window is still open for quite some time. We don't know what surprises the future holds.

One thing is for sure, in the EPL, one of the most anticipated updates is Viktor Gyökeres, who is flying to London with his agent. Because this is a crucial negotiation, Viktor Gyökeres only wants to go to Arsenal, and the official results of the negotiations will be out. I think we'll see him soon.
Everyone in the football community would know that Liverpool is very much interested in Isak, And you think it’s going to be a difficult deal to do, I really don’t think it would be a difficult deal considering that the player have expressed his desire to explore his options, that means a lot that the club is now aware, you can’t keep a player who wants to leave because it’s his career he is entitled to have his ambition and people are talking about Saudi he doesn’t want to play in Saudi, Now he has said he doesn’t want to play in Champions league, He wants to win the Champions League and the Premier League, And he has his priorities to play in Liverpool, All Newcastle has to do is open their door for a transfer negotiations, because it’s not a good thing to keep a player who doesn’t want to stay he will definitely not be committed enough to offer everything.

Alexander Isak knows that it’s an opportunity for him to move to Liverpool, The question is he is 25yrs old and soon big clubs might not circle around him, For Isak the time is now, because he might not have the opportunity to do so in a few years, The question is can Newcastle offer him Premier League, Champions League, Well I don’t think so, Can Liverpool offer him premier league, Champion League, Yes, Now he has this things in his head to make a move and compete in the biggest level of football. Liverpool has the money is there they have gone crazy and the player is ready to Play in Liverpool. What Liverpool is doing is ridiculous.

The Isak plan is very simple in theory:

It completely depends on Luis Díaz's potential sale this summer. If it happens Liverpool will use the sum for Isak. If it fails they aren't in this race for him.

But the issue is that they demand a lot of money for Díaz. They turned down an offer near €70m by Bayern Munich lately. I'm keenly waiting on how much they'll go up this level.  Roll Eyes

By the way Liverpool has spent like €300m in the summer already. It sounds crazy!

I heard that the Saudis are offering Isak 600 thousand a week in wages - twice as much as in Liverpool. Could this be the next big factor in the puzzle everyone is trying to piece together? Just over 30 million a year versus just over 15 million a year. The difference looks significant, but the sporting difference looks even more significant - it's one thing to play in the EPL and another in the SPL. I think it's too early for Isak to leave for the SPL.

I don’t think Liverpool are overspending at least they are not making random signings like Chelsea FC rather they have identified positions that need strengthening in the team and are improving those positions. We know how inflated the market is this days so you can’t actually blame them. However their plan for Isak is yet to be realistic because Newcastle are asking for an outrageous price and they already have Ekitike so I have a feeling that they will pass on the Isak deal this summer.
Overspending or not depend each players performance for his new club, Alexander Isak actually performed perfectly for Newcastle United last season scoring 21 goals behind 30 appearances. Spending out 150 million euro actually not really expensive for signing Alexander Isak but will guarantee scoring above 20 goals for next season with Liverpool? For this moment, not really surprising with player valuable around 100 million euro to 150 million euro exactly if players signing by Premier League teams.

If any player come from top ten standings team in Premier League have valuable up to 70 million euro how last two signed from Manchester United, not really overspending for Alexander Isak value offer by Newcastle United reach to 150 million euro.

This is call friendly indeed because at some point there is no need to waste so much energy on friendly games althoyeven as it a pre season preparation and and we cant use that as a basis for any of our judgement for now, since alot is expected over the coming day's that need all the energy most especially for Liverpool who got eyes on the trophy in the coming season.
You're very right mate, friendly match should be seen as what they are, we can't be giving much attention to this kind of games but the truth is that there are normal matches that are like this too, the perceived  better side will be possessing the ball and their opponent will be doing the scoring it happens but considering the fact that we know Liverpool as a force, i doubt if in real games they will give such opportunity to AC Milan but for now, i have to congratulate AC Milan on their victory after all it is also a football match and I will also do same if Liverpool has win the match, Liverpool will be the major contenders of the English premier league and the UEFA champions league, we already know that.

Wow, this is a very big test for isak here, because the numbers is too tempting to just ignore as if it's nothing, this is an opportunity that can change his financial history forever if he took it, but then by accepting it, he is practically putting his playing career to a halt because the trophy and glory that came with playing in Europe is way more higher than that of Saudi Arabia league, so it's all depends on his desire as a person because I know that 300k a week from Liverpool is also a huge one considering how much that can do to his finance, so if I were to Advice him, I would tell him to ignore the Saudi Arabian route for now because he is too young for that, their is time for everything, and that time of going to Saudi hasn't come yet.

Judging by the statements of the Liverpool management, they are capable of doing this. But now I am tense about the fact that Isak is following the path of Gyokeris, starting to exert unhealthy (by sabotage) pressure on the club. I really don't like this trend - a contract is a contract, if you signed it, then fulfill it to the end or pay a penalty for breaking it. If Liverpool doesn't want to pay 130-150 million (as Newcastle wants) then let Isak wait until the end of the contract.

Sporting and Newcastle both aren't satisfied with this situation for sure. But I think we should understand the players' future plans as well. They didn't want to waste their time in a smaller team for longer.

Gyökeres is 27 and Isak is 25 now. They are both in their most productive age range. It is better for them to show their skills to the world at bigger teams playing in the most prestigious leagues.  Smiley

Well I think it depends on what Isak is playing football for, there are players that play for fame and there are also some that play for the money either way all of them have there reasons. Isak is indeed an incredible striker I mean he is good but I don't see him winning any major award soon such as Ballon d'or and for that reason if I am to advise him, I will advise him to go to Saudi Arabia to play and I think even his family will give him same advise unless they are rich and he is playing for fame, I believe everyone wants money in life regardless of how rich they are though him alone has the final say to this offer.

No one would be willing to pay the amount Newcastle United are asking for at this stage of the summer when most of the clubs have already over spent on budget, the only way would be Newcastle United reducing their asking price or Isak staying for one more season with them to have their asking price reduced so he can make a move to Liverpool or any club of his choice season.

It would be no brainer to move to Saudi from a champions league club at this stage of his career unless he wants the money and not career in Europe.

They sold Onana to MU because they knew his development was stalled, and cashed out him for a bunch of money were the best. They will never ever sign his former goali back again to their squad. they have plenties of experienced young goalie available in the market. Why they need to re-sign Onana?

It's be pointless to bring him back to the serie a. He's happy at MU, and leave him there. Let MU to enjoy his service.  Cheesy

If we're being honest, we had a good run at Inter Milan and attracted a lot of clubs at the time; he wasn't this bad when at Inter, so if they can get him back for a cheap price, I don't see why not.

Onana's signing was actually a big deal at the time, as he was considered a good goalkeeper who could help Manchester United's defense. However, the reality wasn't as it seemed. After joining Manchester United, he seemed to lose his ability and made numerous mistakes, leading to many jokes about him.

It was actually quite surprising at the time that Manchester United chose to release De Gea, even though he was performing well. The numerous goals he conceded were also due to the poor, if not downright terrible, performance of the back line.

Inter was not a dumb team. They would rather get Martinez from Villa instead of Onana. They successfully scammed MU with Onana's transfer. Why do they need him back? The better to let him stay in MU while they approach a new, cheaper, and capable goalie.
Furthermore a return to his parent club is extremely difficult unless the player is loaned out. Considering Onana was bought for €51 million, Manchester United would have to accept a loss by lowering his market value. Meanwhile Inter are not interested in bringing him back, so the best solution for Onana is to make next season a season where he can develop. If he continues to perform poorly, prepared to be released.

Smiley

Well, what difference does it make what they want if they signed a contract? It was a voluntary deal and when it stopped being beneficial to them, they try to break it. I really don't like this trend. In addition, those big clubs that lure players but don't want to pay the full price for them also cause irritation, it looks a lot like fraud. I think there is no point in arguing about the moral side of the issue - it is immoral.

The second edition of the Premier League Summer Series (PLSS) after Chelsea lifted the trophy in the first edition, I think this is quite an interesting concept: a friendly match packaged like a competition. Although there is no cash prize, they deserve a trophy, this concept is expected to attract many fans to buy tickets.
Furthermore I think that in a friendly like this, every team will play seriously and that is evident in the way Manchester United played fielding their core players. This Thursday match will likely be exciting, between Manchester United and Bournemouth.

I can not wait for the start of this season on Premier League.

Is gonna be a very good one, and for the first time in a lot of years despite the Liverpool favoritism we dont have a clear winner, the other years before the fall of them we always have Manchester City at the main contender and wanting a miracle from other team to cut them off, but this year is diferent.
How are the mighty falling? Manchester City now have to share the odds with Liverpool and other elite competitors because they've fallen from the very top and this is not a good thing for them definitely not now they've faced more prominent oppositions. Pep Guardiola will always make sure he's having a best season but do you think we can say it out loud now? Nope because the Citizens had a poor season and this have claimed the good reputation of the club. Liverpool is next in line after Manchester City followed by Arsenal and Chelsea. We're simply looking at the fierce oppositions of roughly teams that wouldn't give up so easily.

Manchester city have had their dominance and they've enjoyed it, though it hasn't been so without a competition from others especially Arsenal and Liverpool, so am not surprised that they are sharing the odds with other elite clubs. Hence as a team and your showing superiority, other clubs will always look for a way to tackle you just to reduce your dominance and so far this is what Manchester city is experiencing at the moment, trust me even next season isn't going to be easy with him.
In my own opinion I think Liverpool is still gonna be the winner of the upcoming 2025/2026 English premier League campaign as I see no match for them, yes every English premier League teams have made some good purchase at the transfer market and Manny are still buying, but judging from last season Liverpool performance and their form was second to none, and this season again the have gotten even more good players to cover up some of the players they lost and sell, believe me those guys are going to be unstoppable comes next season, so I'm giving them the title contenders and probably then upcoming winners.

Cheesy

How do people come on here and write stuffs like this? He was stalled but was able to carry Inter Milan until the Champions League Competition finals against Manchester City? He was solid and the same time, had a good relationship with the management. That said, his move to Manchester United was also back by VanDer Ser who was one time Manchester United goalkeeper and legend. Anyways, United are still down for the signature 9f a younger goalkeeper.

The standings after the first round of the Premier League Summer Series ('PLSS') are:

What's PLSS? It's a pre-season friendly tournament, hosted in the USA, that aims to promote the Premier League abroad, as well as prepare the participating clubs to the upcoming season.

In the first round, Man United beat West Ham 2-1, while Bournemouth defeated Everton 3-0.
The next round will be played on Wed/Thu next week, and the final round on Sunday, 3rd August.

These matches of the Premier League Summer Series are really beneficial for the players. In the past matches, we have seen their main team players playing. Manchester, Bournemouth, West Ham and Everton have all given their best performances.

Earlier, players used to consider friendly matches as a normal thing. But now everyone plays those matches to improve their own skills. Players play all the matches with their best. Every match feels like a final match. Not only the players but also the football fans are very attracted to these friendly matches of the Premier League. With a long break, football fans do not feel bored. If the game continues throughout the year, the players will also learn new skills. This Summer Series is not only a season to polish the players but it is also a means to popularize the Premier League.

Such matches are entertainment for the spectators and a preparation stage for the clubs. So I think PLSS is a modern and excellent idea, which should be organized on a larger scale in the future.
