Liverpool now have 3 losses in a row (2 in the league and one in the Champions League). Funny how things can change so quickly.

I don’t know what’s the cause of the current decline in Liverpool performance, a team which I was already having confidence for that they going to be winning the premier league title this season, then all of a sudden they started playing poorly and lost 3 matches in a row. I know Liverpool poor defense is part of Liverpool current problem, but I don’t know other problems which Liverpool are having right now.

Slot should try and fix things early, lots of people are already complaining that he is playing without pattern, when Liverpool were winning, no one was complaining, but now they lost three matches in a row, and people now know that slot is playing without a pattern. Few matches ago, Liverpool were ahead of arsenal with 5 points, but today Arsenal is already ahead of Liverpool.

I knew right from time that Chelsea is not going to win the match,  against Liverpool, Chelsea would have maintain the 1 goal the score early, but they still allow Liverpool to equalised at this minute, one of my friends that bet against Liverpool, immediately Chelsea goal their goal, he started celebrating, I told him that it's neither Liverpool win the match or it will end draw, and we bet, I'm happy as Liverpool equalised and if possible Liverpool will score again, or the match will end with draw.

Not true. Chelsea finally defeated Liverpool and got all three points. A beautiful strike from Estevao Willian sealed up the victory on the 90+5 minutes of additional time. This is a remarkable victory for Chelsea and a bad day for Liverpool because they have declined to the second possition on the table.

Chelsea football team played very well in the last match and that team did 2 goals in this match as that team performance was very well in this match. Caicedo was a person who did first goal of the match And he did this goal at 14 minutes when it was requirement of the team and all players of that team did brilliant in this match. Gakpo was a person who did second goal of the match and he did this goal at 63 minutes when it was requirement of the team . Estêvão was a person who did last goal of the match and he did this goal at 95 minutes and he did last goal of the match.Liverpool football team required 3 goals to win this match but they did only 1 goal in this match and that was the reason they lost this match.

It's a frustrating time for Liverpool but their fans should understand that it's still a new system couple with some new players again. Things like this should definitely be expected and it's already happening. Ideally, the new players is supposed to be introduced gradually by Arne Slot while he continues with old players until everyone adapt to the system.

As concerning winning the league, it's a normal thing not being on top of the table at this table. This is the right time to work things out and takeover the table while pressure mount on Arsenal now. This is October and it doesn't matter who top the table now. It's only matters who top the table on May and we still have a long way to go. There's still chance for every team.

Crystal Palace had a huge unbeaten run like 19 games. But it was until the Everton game... That goal by Grealish in the stoppage time devastated them. And it was his first goal of the season in the league at the same time. 

On the other hand, Bournemouth have improved their streak of no losses to 6 games. 4 of them are wins as well. For now they are technically in the title competition. But how much longer can they keep this up?

I assume as long as Semenyo performs like a beast...

Liverpool's recent performance is not due to their weak defence, besides their attackers lack ability to score. Liverpool's offensive line is not playing as well as it was last season, Salah is out of form, and Gakpa has no player competing next to him for the position since Diaz left the team to join Bayern Munich, unlike last season when both of them were on the team and competing for playing time. Liverpool made a mistake by spending a lot of money during the summer window but failing to sign a player who could compete with Salah.

Arne Slot kept the 17 year old boy on the bench during the match against Chelsea, but he couldn't bring him in. Rio Ngumoha is a great player who has helped the squad a lot this season, the manager needs to trust the player and give him more playing time. Chiesa was also on the bench, but he did not play 0 minutes against Chelsea. Some fans complained about Slot tactics last season, but I believe they were exposed this season.

Manchester City took good advantage of their rivals dropping points this week and beat Brentford 1-0.
The only problem is that they no longer seem to win matches comfortably, finishing a game with just one goal is always a concern, and M.City needs to fix that as soon as possible.

Come on man, you should know that premier league is no longer the same as it was last season, can't you see that there are Alot of changes in the premier league, even if you can't sense it yet I can see it from here. It seems to me that you don't watch this match between manchester city and brentford, manchester city were not given enough chance of scoring brentford have a solid defense they were even lucky to get one if not the match would have ended with a score of draw. Be it one goal or two I think wining is wining, moreover I don't see anything wrong with there performance.

I can't believe Everton became Palace's nightmare. They played shite football in the first half and it really worried me. The good thing was when Moyes aware of it, and did some subs during the half time. It really made difference in their gameplay. The subs really boost Alcaraz's performance, and happy to see them destroyed palace's 19 games unbeaten record.

They forced Palace to remove their 19 games unbeaten from their X account. Palace gets cooked.

Arsenal is playing very well; they beat Arsenal-Westham 2-0 today. Westham hasn't been very good this season, and they haven't had many wins.
Arsenal has been playing excellently in most matches, and with their new signings, Arsenal has taken things to the next level this year.
The first question that immediately comes to mind is whether Arsenal will win the title this year. It's still too early. Arsenal may be closer to the title than ever before.
There's also a Chelsea-Liverpool match today, and a win for Chelsea would be a tremendous gift for Arsenal.

It's true that it's still very early in the league,  but I think this Arsenal team is better than what they had last season, and they also have a lot of depth in the team, which might be an advantage for them this season. In my opinion I think they will win the league this season, because I don't think Liverpool is really that good as people think and Manchester City and Chelsea are still finding their feet, so I think it's a good opportunity for Arsenal to win the league this season,  but as you said and I agree, it's still too early, although I have really been impressed by the team so far and I hope they go on to win the Premier league this season.

Haaland is a goal machine, we all know that. But man he still doesn't finish a game without scoring.    He didn't score in only one game in the league so far which was the Tottenham one.

He's truly a goal-scoring machine. If only Man City were still as strong in every department, I can't imagine how terrifying they would be with Haaland still up front, so strong and sharp in his finishing. But, this is a team, and Man City must fight on all fronts.

But about Haaland, without a doubt, he's incredible. This season, in a total of nine matches played in both the Premier League and Champions League, he has scored 12 goals and provided one assist. And only against Tottenham did he not score; otherwise, he's always been there.

The issue with City currently isn’t about Pep Guardiola in my opinion, for every thing on earth there is a time to grow and a time to die. City have lost lots of top talents that fueled their premier league reign in the last five years, yes they have made new signings but these new signings are not equal to the ones they had in the previous years of their reign so what do you expect. They will need to regroup a squad as good as what they had to make such an impact again.

Manchester City is in a bad situation at the moment. Among the midfielders, Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne have left the club and Bernardo Silva is currently in bad form. There are no  good players like Riyad Mahrez and Sterling in the forward line anymore. Among the defenders, Laporte has left the club in 2023. Ake is not playing due to his left foot injury. Defenders like Stone are also not in the same form as before. Most importantly, there is no reliable RB like Kyle Walker in the team. What I think is Pep Guardiola is in some trouble due to City's experienced and good players leaving one and a half and the lack of coordination with the new players and the old team. However, everyone knows that he is a world-class good coach.

Lol, while it is true that they are not far off the summit, but everyone knows they are not realistically going after the title, neither are they title contenders. You don't go from finishing in the bottom half of the table (15th if i remember correctly) to winning the league. Amorim's target this season would realistically be a top 7 or 8 finish at best, and IMO, we are looking at 5th position down to 8th, because i don't think there is a top 4 chance for Manchester United this season.

It was nice to see Manchester United not losing points this time. As Sunderland didn't have a bad start, I must admit I doubted Amorim's students again. 

I knew Manchester United Won’t be losing to Sunderland, what I was expecting in the match was just draw, but Manchester United ended up winning them match, and am sure the win is really going to help Amorim, it’s really going to reduce the pressure on Amorim, and I hope Amorim will be able to fix Manchester United performance soon, Manchester United fans are already frustrated, and if the teams performance doesn’t improve, then soon they going to start requesting for change of coach.

Manchester United next match will be against Liverpool, I don’t think Manchester United will be able to get a win in the match. I know Liverpool performance has dropped a little bit, and most teams are now winning them, but I believe Liverpool will play better in the match, and they will be able to get a win.

It was definitely nice seeing a win from Man united. They secured a win and the 3 points after having the win against Sunderland. I have little expectations from Man united so it was quite a surprise seeing them win. I had wished for more goals from Man United in the second half of the game but I guess the 2 goals scored in the first half was enough to secure the win.
Like I said earlier, I haven't got much expectations from Man United but it would be quite the match if they end up having a win against Liverpool when they meet on the 19th. At this point, Liverpool is highly predicted to win. It would be wild if Man united ends up winning.

I don't have to praise Amorim and his students because of winning Sunderland. I mean, if Amorim cannot win a relegation team, which other club was he expecting to win. This is an epileptic strategy by Amorim to remain in Manchester united till the end of this seaon.
Now he won against Sunderland, he will see it as a passport to lose at Anfield. Then, the next match could be a win, followed by draw and 2 losses. How will a performance like this be able to take Manchester united to the expected greatness?

With the current squad of Manchester united, they should be abke to go 3 matches consecutively without a lose or draw.

It's bad news because Manchester United upcoming match against Liverpool will be tough for Amorim. Although Liverpool has lost their last two Premier League matches, making it possible for United to have an advantage, I'm still unsure about predicting a win. Manchester United inconsistent results have been disappointing, and I'm not confident they'll win this game if I bet on them. Manchester United have played some big matches so far this season, and I don't think they put up a strong fight in those games, as they were defeated by Arsenal and Manchester City. Chelsea was the only strong team they've managed to beat.

The arrival of Kolo Toure and should have brought in some improvements but they have not. There are no visible improvements from the Manchester City we saw last season, they are not as consistent as they used to be, they win a game and lose the next or draw, this is not the Pep Guardiola we saw. If Manchester city were to be a club like Man Utd and Chelsea,  the backlash from the media would be heavy but since it's Pep and City, everybody must be scared to speak up.

The issue with City currently isn’t about Pep Guardiola in my opinion, for every thing on earth there is a time to grow and a time to die. That five-year reign was such that Manchester City gave the impression they would always maintain it. Guardiola and his players at the time. I agree that Guardiola wasn't the problem. The squad isn't as good as the old Manchester City squad, nor is it bad, they could have achieved better results with this squad. Some reinforcements are needed, they need good wingers or a strengthened midfield.

Leave the rest to Guardiola, he'll do what's necessary. Manchester City didn't perform particularly well against Brenford, but they did get the three points, and that was enough

For a big club in 10th place, it's still not very comfortable, but considering the points tally, which is still quite close, it's perhaps understandable.
However, in this case, their performance has been less than perfect in their last five games, with three wins and two defeats, which clearly means that Manchester United and Amorim need to be more aware of their situation.

For the 8th week against Liverpool, it remains a slightly more complicated situation. However, considering Liverpool's current form with their recent string of losses, this could actually be an opportunity for Manchester United to capitalize on, but it all depends on how Amorim implements his strategy in this scenario.

And the distance between 1st that Arsenal is currently occupying and 10th that Manchester United is occupying currently is 9 position difference which is still a lot. This same 6 points difference will be hard for them to recover, you might be surprised that after the league phase resumes again after this weekend, Manchester United might be finding themselves 9 points behind 1st position, lol.

Manchester United dominated the match after taking an early lead, and it was an exciting display to secure the three points in front of their home fans. Sunderland put up a fight, but they were unlucky not to convert several chances. For Sesko, the goal against Sunderland was his second in seven appearances. I think he needs to find his best form to contribute goals and bring victory to Manchester United.

Manchester United must focus as best as possible on the Premier League this season, as they are not busy with other competitions like the Europa League. There are many rumors circulating about Amorim's future. I hope he can secure his place as Manchester United manager, as rumors are circulating that he will be sacked.
