I think Chelsea really hurried up last season to buy liam delap from Ipswich and it was a really big mistake by them because honestly he needed more time to get some experience to go into a big team. He was good in Ipswich and really carried them when he was in that team and in Chelsea he had a lot of matches but nothing special from him.

Im sure that Chelsea will surely loan him out because i dont think anyone wants to pay a big fee for this kind of player. In Chelsea he was a huge flop and i understand why Alonso dosent want him.

And I think then, when Pochettino arrived at Chelsea, he spent a lot of time selling most of those players. So, Chelsea sometimes have this tendency to buy everyone. Yesterday transfers were crazy, i mean how in the hell you can pay $50 millions for a goalkeeper? No sense, complete no sense, aside of it Welbeck to Chelsea? For real? Brighton have always been where Chelsea love to shop, they do really produce quality players. Chelsea have signed over 6-7 players from Brighton in a space of season. Welbeck is a good finisher If given the chance, he scored 13 league goals for them last season.

To see that he will be coming as a back up striker is really a good one for Chelsea. He will really help them a lot and also he have played with Joao Pedro so the bonding should be easy.

Liverpool has a great opportunity with Bradley Barcola, who's keen to make a move. Reports suggest he's given Liverpool the green light, and with mutual interest from both sides, the negotiations should continue. I believe the Reds should really push to bring Barcola to Anfield. He's young, talented, and could be a fantastic addition to the team.

Liam Delap was really good at Ipswich,  but failed to replicate his form when Chelsea signed him. It really a big mistake on Chelsea side, because I don't think he is ready to make the big move. In Ipswich he is a big player and the team is even built around him, but him moving to Chelsea changed everything. He was no longer the main man in the team, so I think it was very hard for him and he is also in a big team, that much is expected from him, so I guess the pressure of playing for a big team got to him and he could not handle it. I really think he should move to a smaller team and he might just find his feet again.

I was left stunned with the valuation Real Madrid slapped on him.

He is moving to the Premier League Competition and Fulham United under the influence of Aberloa who personally asked him. I believe he will bang goals for Fulham United and the squad will most definitely play to his strength.
Raul Jiminez was the striker but he left for Wolverhampton during the early stages of the transfer window. We will see what happens with a new manager in charge. It is not all about him, the team needs to work hard as a single unit. They have quality players but they need to he more ambitious.

That prove is too much for a player like him, but he’ll really be of great help to Liverpool if he joins them next season. Fulham did not sign Gonzalo for €70 million, it was €40 million with £2 million adds-on, which could bring the total fee Fulham will pay Real Madrid for Gonzalo to €42 million. Gonzalo played 30 games for Real Madrid in la liga last season, scoring 6 goals and providing 1 assist, which is not good stat, and there is nothing special about Gonzalo, so i think Fulham is the right team for him, and that is also the reason why no top team shown interest in him. With the stat of Gonzalo for Real Madrid i do not think he can help Fulham to compete at the top of the table.

Delap was not able to score or provide an assist today, but that does not totally mean he is too bad. I know that he has not been performing to the fans' expectations, but that does not mean they should not give him more time to prove himself.Before Alonso makes any decisions about any player, he needs to assess them very well first, and that is what he is doing now. If he does not see any improvement in Delap, it is possible that he will tell the Chelsea management that they need to replace him and get another striker.

Alonso said it that Delap is not in his plan for next season, Alonso already knows that Delap is not the kind of player he can work it. I don’t know the time which Delap wants, he was signed last season, and had just 2 goals last season, he had 1 premier league goal, and 1 champions league goal. Liam Delap was a fantastic player, an incredible goal scorer and dependable striker for Ipswich before he was signed. Chelsea signed him because of that form, if he could do that much with so little how much could he do at Chelsea but it’s so sad it’s a disappointing outcome, He turned the opposite and now might be on his way out of Chelsea.
Personally I think the No.9 Jersey at Chelsea is cursed, I can’t remember any player since Hernan Crespo who wore it and did well… they always do well before coming and then flop.

Barcola still has 2 more seasons left on his contract with PSG and the price set by PSG management is too high, it cannot be separated from the great desire of PSG management to retain this player, especially since he is still very young and his quality is still very good, so it is natural that PSG sets a very high price and that seems to be an indication that PSG is not selling Barcola.

Chelsea have made a statement that he will be joining his teammates at Hong Kong next week and will be put into play as soon as possible.

Not just as a chelsea fan but also as a football fan is truly sad to see a player go through this. I feel for him,  he his a player with prospect, potentials and huge ability, but he has been on the sidelines for over a year. It will be really nice to see him play again. He will be traveling tomorrow and will engage in team training on Monday.

I think the reason Gonzalo Garcia accepted Fulham offer was because Arbeloa understood his potential and abilities. Moving to Fulham was the best decision for Gonzalo, he will be guaranteed playing time with his new club. Although the chances of winning trophies are very slim with Fulham, he should be able to show his talent like Alvaro Morata who shines everywhere. Now that he has entered a new stage in his career, perhaps he will return to play for a big club like Liverpool, Man City or Bayern Munich if his performance continues to improve.

No the question is what is the need of signing that much? When we all see that upon all those signings it was all useless nothing to write home about those signings, so Xabi Alonso is not caught up for such mess I believe he's taking his time to set the team, and again it's not all players that would want to move to Chelsea at this point in time, any top players that's moving to Chelsea now it's either he admire the team right from day one or the pay is quite okay with him, because everyone wants to play an European competitions of which Chelsea is playing none.
