Wow, I'm surprised by the big victories of Liverpool and Roma, but the most interesting match in terms of results is still Karabakh - Bayer.
Firstly, Karabakh was really close to breaking Bayer’s phenomenal streak (but apparently it’s so phenomenal that it would require some kind of miracle).
Secondly, the very fact that teams that have already played in the same group are playing in the 1/8 is ridiculous (I think UEFA should fix something here).
The third point is probably a repetition of the first, but still Karabakh, after games in the group where it lost both with a total score of 6-1, was able to give a serious fight to Bayer. I can imagine that in Germany Bayer will take it out on them to the fullest and we will again see something like 4-0 or 5-0.

My prediction was not wrong, Munich managed to reverse the lead and go through. I feel confident because Lazio are statistically below Munich. The win in leg 1 was due to a penalty, so the 1 goal was a gift not a strategy. Kane and Lewandowski were outstanding. The one two touch strategy made Bayern Munich manage to make Lazio difficult despite piling up many players in front of the penalty box. At least this is enough to give temporary pleasure to Munich supporters.

Bayern Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso have achieved such a great feet by maintaining this unbeaten run this long and i believe if they continue like this they will definitely be champions of the Europa league and I think the only that can contest with them would be the English side LIVERPOOL.

Not far off from the prediction that Bayern Leverkusen did well in the remaining time of the match, they managed to equalize the 2 goal deficit in the 70th and 90+2 minutes.

There were two destructions this evening, the destruction from Liverpool whom the scorers were Mac. Alister, D. Nunez(2), L. Diaz & D. Szoboszlai and that of AS Roma whom the scorers were P. Dybala, R. Lukaku, C. Mancini and B. Cristante. great credit to El Sharaway for his double assists that Led to the two last goals. I'm particularly happy for Lukaku for  scoring at least today. They really destroyed Brighton and I seriously doubt they can turn things around during the return leg. I wouldn't even dare mention that of Slavia Prague who lost by such margin from home. Its very obvious that they're no match for Liverpool though, but a bigger ass beating awaits them at  England upon their visit. I love what De Rossi is doing with AS Roma. Its a beauty to watch their match, the offensive pattern of play is clearly converting.

In today's match, Qarabag surprised everyone with their performance. Many did not believe Qarabag had the strength to hold Bayer Leverkusen to a draw given Leverkusen's exceptional form. The game even seemed poised for a Qarabag victory, but Leverkusen was fortunate enough to salvage a draw in the dying minutes of the match

I think Qarabag could surprise us in the first half because Xabi Alonso used Leverkusen second lineup. Just look at the starting lineup, there are too many substituted players there. When Xabi Alonso released some main players in the second half, they could score 2 goals. The two goals were made by Florian Wirtz and Patrik Schick. These 2 players were in the bench in first half, they just played in second half of the match.

If Xabi used their main lineup, I'm sure Qarabag will have no chance to score goals and Leverkusen must lead the match since the first half. I don't know why Xabi prefers to use their second lineup. He may want to let the main player to have enough time for rest. And he will focus to play all out in the Leg 2, when they are playing at home.

We all definitely predicted that the winner will be Leverkusen from this match against Qarabag FK. But, it seems that this time, Xabi's strategy, especially in the first half, did not go smoothly. So they actually conceded 2 goals. Xabi finally immediately changed tactics and also introduced their main players in the second half. And finally, they were finally able to score 2 goals too. They should have been more optimal if they included their main players from the start. However, maybe Xabi has other tactics. And this match result will become a precious result for his next decision. Yes, at least,  the result is a draw, and then, they should be leading again in the second leg. Well, at least, Leverkusen's unbeaten record so far has not been broken, with quite a lot of goals scored so far.

Leverkusen unbeaten record was almost broken by Qarabag, but in the end Leverksen managed to win dramatically at the end of the second half. Florian Wirtz and Patrik Schick were the heroes who saved the team record, both of whom deserve high appreciation. Leverkusen really deserves to be champions of the Europa League this season, their performance is very impressive and their mentality is very good. A 2-2 draw is not bad, Xabi Alonso can chase victory in the second round.

Yes, the second goal was only 2 minutes later, and AC Milan scored the first goal created by Giroud in the 34th minute. Slavia Prague then scored a goal in the 36th minute through David Doudera's hard kick which Mike Maignan was able to parry but Mike Maignan managed to parry but still went in.
And the current score is 3-1 and I think this match will definitely be won by AC Milan. The only two matches I wanted to see today were the headline ones featuring Liverpool and Leverkusen. It's interesting how everyone thought Liverpool will have a hard time against the Czech Republic current league leaders only for those quick goals to go in and put a strain in Sparta's performance. Another fun fact, Liverpool players scored all 3 goals including the Sparta goal which was scored by Bradley after coming up for just a minute.


As for Leverkusen, like I said earlier, Alonso mitigated the situation by bringing some of his OG first team players into the for.

I will tip Roma to win tonight.

I expected Roma to win, but did not expect anything close to the dominating performance they put up tonight. It appears managers have come up with a good counter play to the style of play Roberto Di Zerbie uses. He loves his team to play out the man through the press, while taking out 3 or 4 players, then use the width to open up space.

De Rossi brilliantly countered that and had a brilliant attacking response.

This match is between England and Italian, currently the most consistency team among this two is AS Roma and at the same time they are the host which means they will do better then Brighton, currently Brighton are facing low consistency in their performance, with I don't see any hope for them to win.

Luckily, Xabi corrected that at halftime and suddenly Leverkusen's successful game worked again. Wirtz in particular brought momentum into the game so that they were able to score 2-2, was is a good foundation for the second leg.

I never expected Leverkusen would struggle with quara berg that much, for me I saw it as a game Leverkusen has won already even before the kick off, because I considered Leverkusen's performance all along and how they have performed facing even rough clubs, so against quara berg was looking like a game they would have dominated well enough especially with goals but then it turned out otherwise that quara berg turned out tough.

I think this is a lesson for Leverkusen to understand that they shouldn't play or joke with any team as they may get surprised and get their first loss this season from a weak team or a team we generally considered weak especially here in the Europa, let's hope that in their second meeting Leverkusen would be able to do much better and not allow this Small team become so much of a problem to them that they will struggle again, underestimating any team will be the weakness of such a team because they will be thinking they don't need much to be able to win their opponent until it's game over.

This draws is going to exert some kind of pressure on Leverkusen because they will definitely try to cope with this alongside with that which will be coming from bundesliga, they will now have  to make sure to win their second meeting in the Europa if they must be able to retain their position, because Leverkusen cannot afford to be loosing to such a team where they are considered much more better and it's just knock out stage not even yet at semi or quarter finals.
