After four days we will be having second leg of the round of 16 then we will be able to check how things are going right now any prediction is going to be difficult because all teams are giving their best and have enough chance for the win as well we can't compare them because all teams are playing into different conditions and having completely different opponents into their domestic leagues so even we have four teams at their best but still any out sider can still steal the show which could be not surprising.
Currently, we have four teams which are giving their best and have chance at the same level for the win of title but as mentioned Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are hot favorite due to their quality and consistency with both Italian sides are missing consistency.

IN the second leg Marseille will start the match with 4 goals in hand, this clearly gives them the upper hand after a landslide victory in the first leg. I don't think that Villareal will lose by a landslide score like that, because overall they are actually not much different from Marseille. That what interesting about every competition, all teams have the potential to create surprises and Leverkusen and Liverpool are more favorites. However, Leverkusen steps to qualify from the round of 16 will have to be a tough test, but I predict they can win the second leg match at BayArena. There are 4 possible clubs that could be candidates for the UEL title, Liverpool, Leverkusen, Milan and Roma, of these 4 clubs it is still an interesting discussion because these 4 clubs both have very clear advantages Liverpool has quite stable strength and Leverkusen with unbeatable strength but there are still obstacles that could provide surprises beyond our expectations, Milan and Roma who can always provide surprises in the final round because currently these 4 clubs still have a big chance.

The journey in the Europa League is still too long for all four teams and I think those four teams certainly deserve us as favourites as potential champions even though now Leverkusen still have a 50:50 chance to qualify for the last 8 after getting a draw against Qarabag.
Leverkusen performance in the league is quite convincing but somehow I actually feel they are still very nervous when playing in the Europa League.

AC Milan and AS Roma are 2 good teams from Italy. Both of them have a big history in football. But they look not strong enough in this season. Although they are big teams in Serie A, but I assume Leverkusen still becomes the perfect team to win the UEL trophy. Related Atalanta can qualify from the round of 16, after drawing 1-1 in the first leg against Sporting, they have a big chance of turning things around in the second leg. Likewise, Leverkusen must try to turn things around in the second leg against Qarabag. All predictions could be wrong, because the European League is the second priority for some teams after domestic competitions. Today in the premier league Liverpool did showed a whole different kind of excellence that gives me the mindset that the Europa wouldn't be such a great challenge because it's interesting to note that they were able to perform brilliantly in the first half of the game playing with young players who were actually not part of the first 11 and their second choice goal keep yet they had a very good performance.

If they are to meet most of the Europa teams except for Leverkusen, AC Milan and Roma I'm very sure Liverpool will effortlessly win all other teams and still gain dominance in the Europa,  even amongst this three which I mentioned, I think Leverkusen bis the only best contender for Liverpool because Manchester city which Liverpool did played against today and had such good performance is way tougher than any of these teams been mentioned so it's okay to think that Liverpool would still do better against any of these teams, with all these performance so far Leverkusen and Liverpool may most likely meet at the finals.

It's actually in predictable what exactly the Europa will look like after the round of sixteen because there maybe a few uncertainties that may come up with some teams and aswell it's a stage where they need only a single match to determine their fate but Liverpool still looks solid except something comes up by then as same also applies to Leverkusen too who's really taking lead in their domestic league and the Europa aswell.

For now the odds are still somewhat uncertain but we can see later when we reach the top 8 and in the top 8 phase matches we can see who really has the best chance of becoming champion this season.
