IMHO they done the easies way by migrate only the user login/worker data... So, yes. All balance starts from 0  Angry

50BTC still had records of our hash power before and after the hack took place. I remember looking at my graphs and everything seemed legit after the hacks.
Therefore they should be be able to calculate how much coin we earned...

Methodology:
Using the average user hash power, since the last withdrawal till we went off-line. Known figures..
Taking into consideration the change in difficulty over that period of time.. Known..
Therefore.. any mining calculator can supply a pretty accurate estimate of how much coin each user had oweing..

What you think?

+1

but in some cases the mining statistics are also wrong.

I really think they don't want to pay us out. Because there are to many people who still mining, still earning money..

I already reported to support my Mining hardware, my funds before and during attacks and all my worker names etc.
but no answer at all. And the curiousity with skype still remains.

A small Tip is welcome everytime Wink

I can't believe people are going back to mining here.  But because people are, that's why they can do this kind of crap.  They know that people will come back. They know that people will "forgive" and start mining again. (As evidenced in some of the replies above.)

It's up to them to earn trust back.

Please, don't mine there unless they make good on this. It's rewarding bad behavior.

I just mined one day, got my payment, sent support a message saying if they did not pay back my lost bitcoin that I would not be returning. I also said in the support that nobody will come back unless they do good on the back payouts. No reply. I sent like 20 messages.

It's unbelievable that they do not mention the 'lost' funds at all. After such an agonizing silence as well....

During the pool's history there were lots of different attacks, including loss of 1170 bitcoins (TX1, TX2, TX3, TX4). 50BTC has covered all losses. Users were never affected.

Think you're all forgetting that in their prior news release, even though 50BTC confirmed that they'd suffered losses, they also confirmed that they'd covered all losses incurred.

So, either they were being deceitful in their claims to have covered losses incurred.

OR

They are deliberately absconding with miners genuinely earned coins.

Either way, this is bad, whichever way you look at it. I'm fully expecting the pool to rapidly (if not already) prove insolvent.

Don't forget the losses they're referring to were from more than a year prior to the "hack" that they suffered 2 months ago.  Deliberate misdirection by referring to past losses and the fact that they "covered them all" but not related to the losses that were currently being referred to.

And just going to point this out yet again:  If they could cover all the losses, they would have.  This "individual basis" recovery is just a delay tactic.  If they can recover individual balances, they can recover all balance values.  They're choosing not to.

PSA: Please don't mine at this pool.

The pool operator(s) are/is not being truthful and forthright.  With all the other pool options available out there to mine with, why in the world would you consider mining on this pool.  They've disappeared with miners' coins once.  They obviously have no remorse for having done it, ergo they'd be more than willing to do it again.

Also,  if you've lost btc mined at 50btc please post in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=359277.0

Thank you.

Wish I was a little more hip on DDOS.  We could have a little fun right?  Hope they really do get hacked.

I really don't know what you mean.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDOS#Distributed_attack

I think it is not necessary to attack them with DDOS anyways. It is also illegal...

I hope no one would mine there before the users funds are restored.

If they not restore it, i think some people would take legal actions because of robbery and fraud.

DO NOT MINE AT 50BTC

I had a payout in process for my 37 bitcoins for months!  They never paid out, never responded and now all my Bitcoins and history are gone!  I have been cheated, I mined there over a year!

I would like to meet them in person, it would be a great day for me!

Hmmmmm this is really strange

Following some of the addresses that 50btc and been sending funds to lately have come up with something strange

I am seeing Ghash.io also sending funds to the ADDRESS to................. Makes me wonder if they are pointing the mining power at another pool or using the stolen funds to buy mining power on GHASH.IO?Huh?
