It's very possible gambling too at some point serves for the purpose of remuneration aside entertainment for some persons, so for such people you don't make them feel like it's all wrong that they had to take out some time for the purpose of that which could give them extra funds, maybe such persons doesn't gamble often but for a particular time.

If you are that someone who do have that control or having that opportunity while you are at work since you are the senior or head then you are lucky but if you are placed into those lower positions

Before I was also working on a BPO company and I can say the impulse to try and gamble had always been on my mind. That's true, because both me I am looking for an extra money, even if I don't need the money immediately I just have to get it and keep it until the right time for me to use and I think that show it is to those that are not gambling for fun.

A gambler should not conduct gambling in the workplace as work must be more important than anything else. If someone does such a thing they should quickly avoid it. Yup, and it is prohibited and this has been discussed in every new hire orientation on the first day of work. I'm not sure if this applies to other company but in our company, Gambling activity is strictly prohibited . That's true that if you combine doing gambling during working hours, it will affects your time, quality and performances most especially if you're the type of person who can't fo multitasking. As I read other comments above, other people suggested to do multitasking, particularly to those person who luckily has work from home set up, as long as your performance didn't affect by doing other activities such as gambling.
