This is a sad situation for Betnomi and most especially now that it has taken the team a long term to build a good reputation for the domain name both here and outside the forum and this will really be a sad one for the team and sure it will take the team a lot of time and efforts to build a new name for the company and yeah I think it going to take a long time before those that have lost the money to ever get any form of refunds.

But the good thing is that the team is ready to move on despite all odds and for that it will be exciting to see them come back with a new name that will also gain a global gambling audience,  all that it takes is a long-term persistent hard work and nothing more,  and since the team have build betnomi before I am sure they will be able to build under a new brand.

It is not easy to build a trusted brand as it takes a lot of time and hardwork. Betnomi has lost that trust that they had built within the forum and outside due their internal issues. I do not think coming up with a new brand name would be help them. They would be able to regain some level of trust back when they resolve all issues regarding the repayment. Until then it is better to wait and watch if they can keep their promise.

Why you havent made out that immediate announcement about on what happened?

Well, I wonder the same thing, they should have done something back then... it's never good when someone just disappears without any words, especially with someone else's money.

But they are back, let's see what will they do to make things right, if that is possible... to be honest, I have some doubts, I don't like it when someone just disappears and then comes back... it's certainly nice that they are back, but it definitely won't be easy for them to regain their old reputation. It's not impossible, but it will be difficult.

Im not sure who actually write this but you dont seems like Sorsis at all but yeah that doesnt really matter for now. Anyway, my registered email has been spammed ever since the database was leaked ( or rumours were that you guys sold the database )

Fortunately, we have successfully retrieved a backup of our database and are working with regulators to develop a plan for fully refunding all users. This plan will be announced in the coming days.

I guess we are back to the waiting stage huh. Giving you guys the benefit of doubts, totally would love if all the users affected would be refunded but there are alot of exit scams in this forum and only a handful of site actually pulled it off by refunding all of the users

Good to hear this news, but it needs to be followed with actions! I didn't have any balance left, so hopefully everybody that had a balance will recover it. It makes sense, when everyone is paid back, to cease all operations on Betnomi as this name will always have a negative reputation. Better start over with a brand new name/concept.

As if user with trap balance can do anything about it. This kind of lawsuit will took a long time before it process and I doubt that they will refund the pending balance from their pocket unless they hold the cold wallets which the players balance stored which the OP didn’t mention.

So rushing them will never speed up the process and the balance was supposed to be considered as loss already at least they shed some light here by offering a potential refund to all affected user. Let’s see if they can refund 1:1 with crypto assets and not with fiat value since the market pump a lot since they close their casino.

This is a real good question.  There hasn't been any updates on their site or anywhere else about this.  If all that stuff going on inside their crew is true, we got no way of knowing who's actually running their forum account now and what they're after.  

Lets be clear - it's good betnomi came back saying they wanna make things right, but we gotta watch our back here.  Wouldn't be the first time scammers try getting over on folks who got scammed before.

Who is going to pay us for our leaked data?

Also a very good question. Misuse of personal data is not only unethical but also a criminal offense.

Unfortunately, following this decision, certain individuals engaged in backroom deals to extract Betnomi's intellectual property and resources for the purpose of launching a new casino independently. Critical system resources were restricted, and the database became inaccessible, preventing users from withdrawing their balances.

I'm not sure if the refund will be successful because if you stop using the "Betnomi" brand, it means you have a choice to run away since whether you've refund or not, the result is same. Of course it just my own assumption.

Therefore, we have decided to permanently cease operations and stop using the Betnomi brand in our best interests.

The victims could take a legal action and this forum also store every users IP address, but I haven't yet see any result of successful investigation.

That is exactly my point. I think there was no need for the supposed rush to make the announcement when they have kept mute for how many months long yet coming to make promise whose fulfilment might take another frustrated customer to open up a reminder thread here quoting this same thread in wait for the payment.

I think it would have been better to wait a little more and then coming out with this apology thread alongside immediate refund plan. Don't just keep your reputation dragging all the way because it is not easy getting it back.

This is what i do have in mind or have questions because if we do tend to think deep through then;

1. They wont really be taking too long for them to announce that there's someone who stole or whatsoever that correlated to it.
On the time that they have seen on whats the culprit or problem is then they would immediately be telling the public on what happened.
It wont really be that something believable if it would be taking 4 months before they do make out such announcement basing up on what they had find out.
Totally suspicious.

2. Refund money might get from their own pockets? Sounds impossible! Unless if they would give small parts in overall balance
but thats a bad news.

3. Agree, why they need to make some announcement which arent totally announcement at all yet it would be coming on next few days. lol
