Well played!  I counted forward and backward and believe you submitted the millionth pushup. Woo hoo everyone! 1_000_000 Pushups!  Let's go for 2! my report: 100k,DirtyKeyboard,507,51887,2025-07-05 I purposely increased my daily push-ups from 200 push-ups to 300 push-ups for us to achieve 1,000,000 push-ups, and I am happy my effort was not in vain and it played a role and helped us to achieve 1,000,000 push-ups today. If someone told me we would achieve 1,000,000 push-ups in this challenge, I wouldn't have accepted it, so if we maintain our dedication and consistency in doing push-ups, I believe we will achieve 2,000,000 push-ups in the future. 613 days from now... As a thread, we have been doing these for more than 500 days, and yeah, thank you DirtyKeyboard for creating and running such a script to keep track of our progress as individuals and as a group... Can we even do another 1 million pushups in another 500 days.. or will the quantity of days get longer, and/or can we get additional participants to help us in the next million. Even for myself on a personal level, I had gravitated up to averaging 260 pushups per day, yet in recent times, my quantity has been gravitating down, and my average pushups per day in the past 3-ish months has been in the lower 100s.. So, unless I return to higher quantity pushups per day, it seems that my average per day will continue to come down, perhaps into the lower 100s of pushups per day.
If we keep on doing our push-ups and keep this thread going, I believe we will achieve 1,000,000 push-ups again, but it will take more than 500 days to achieve it because we aren't as plentiful as we were when this idea was initiated by OgNasty. JayJuanGee, even though your quantity of push-ups is gravitating down, don't see it as a weakness because whatever quantity of push-ups that is your average push-ups, it will help us to achieve another 1,000,000 push-ups in the near future.

Congratulations to everyone who has contributed here, even if it's only a couple push-ups, since the first day of the thread. As a result of a collective effort, we have both benefited individually and witnessed Bitcoin's journey to 100k dollars together. We will continue our push-ups while Bitcoin is looking for new ATHs. Maybe we'll see 200k before 2 million push-ups!

Next year the bull market will probably be over and the ATH will have already been seen and there will be a pullback in the market. I'm not sure if we will see 200k but we need to be prepared for a new bear market once the ATH hype is over. Bitcoin won't go up all the time. We need to think realistically. As a thread, we have been doing these for more than 500 days, and yeah, thank you DirtyKeyboard for creating and running such a script to keep track of our progress as individuals and as a group... Can we even do another 1 million pushups in another 500 days.. or will the quantity of days get longer, and/or can we get additional participants to help us in the next million. Even for myself on a personal level, I had gravitated up to averaging 260 pushups per day, yet in recent times, my quantity has been gravitating down, and my average pushups per day in the past 3-ish months has been in the lower 100s.. So, unless I return to higher quantity pushups per day, it seems that my average per day will continue to come down, perhaps into the lower 100s of pushups per day.
If we keep on doing our push-ups and keep this thread going, I believe we will achieve 1,000,000 push-ups again, but it will take more than 500 days to achieve it because we aren't as plentiful as we were when this idea was initiated by OgNasty. JayJuanGee, even though your quantity of push-ups is gravitating down, don't see it as a weakness because whatever quantity of push-ups that is your average push-ups, it will help us to achieve another 1,000,000 push-ups in the near future. I personally believe that we tend to be more viscerally motivated when we are able to internalize any goals on a personal level, so if the goal is abstract then we may well not want to continue to carry it out. I do have a motivation on a personal level just in terms of my sense of my own well-being, and I continue to believe that pushups are a good daily activity, and I believe that I will suffer more costs by stopping doing them than the benefits of continuing to do them on a daily basis. Regarding your math. .it is not correct. Sure my past pushups are in the can.. meaning that they already count and there is no taking them back, yet whatever I contribute the future is based on my current and/or future pushups, even though my average per day pushups is propped up by the quantity of pushups that I did in the past. i had right around 14 days that were more than 400 pushups and around 4 of those days were more than 700 pushups, with one of the days (my record day) having 1,330 pushups in one day.. so surely those BIG days really did bring up my average. but it took some time to build up to being able to do that quantity of pushups in any particular day.. and even for several days, like a kind of ongoing training for a specific goal.

Success is precarious, each success stage opens you up for a new goal challenge. Congratulations to everyone on reaching 1,000,000 pushups. Just like you already aimed, we go for the two million by 2026. I suppose that by the time we reach 2,000,000 bitcoin would be at $200k ATH. Next year the bull market will probably be over and the ATH will have already been seen and there will be a pullback in the market. I'm not sure if we will see 200k but we need to be prepared for a new bear market once the ATH hype is over. Bitcoin won't go up all the time. We need to think realistically. I'm surprised you are just seeing the push-up thread for the first time even though we have stayed up to a year plus pushing Bitcoin to reach £100k, and the push-up thread is always at the top of the speculation section of the forum, which makes it easier for anyone that opens the speculation section of the forum to see the push-up thread. You are welcome to this challenge, and I am happy to have you on board. I was rarely out and about in this part of BCT. Now that is changing. After my start last week, my muscles were a little sore and as we always have a lot of work to do in the garden at the weekend (big projects coming up!) I had to take a break or use up my energy there. i hove found that 150 a day and then legwork the next day works better. so 150 x 182=27,300 in a year. i am old 68 i am diabetic i am 6 foot 200 pounds if i can do about 13600 pushups in the first 500 days many could match me. what is the upside? it makes you healthier and if you are making corn 🌽 dont you want to be able to enjoy it in good health?Some of us are likely going partially on faith in terms of the information claiming that resistance training is helpful for people, and perhaps especially elderly people.. maybe anyone over 40 needs to figure out ways to preserve and build muscle mass...and maybe the risk of muscle mass loss (or difficulties to build) gets worse and worse (or more and more challenging) as the age of the body advances. When you say training is helpful many people see it as a waste of time and tiredness has already whispered to them that is not ok to train, that they should let it be but they forget that it helps the heart to do it's work properly. Some old people, hold on let me say some elderly people like you said it would want to do some exercises but they wait for who would help them start and some of us here are up to 50-60+ years and they keep doing the exercises without stopping while some others who are 50-60+ years can't imagine themselves doing anything to make them sweat which is bad but when ever doctors says something will happen to them if the don't do any training or exercises you'd see them rushing to something just to stay alive. Some of we humans want something bad to happen before we make a move. my wife and I look at this video for inspiration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sOLhFLfjucIf we can match what she has done it would be wonderful. so far today I have done 102 stairs I will shoot for at least 306 stairs today made 20 minute on the bike and some resistance bands.

I taught as much because i checked you weren't active as of the day that we were celebrating the 1 million push-ups that we have archived in the years passed, is good to have back big man and i want to advise that should never be in a hurry in doing your daily push-ups, always take it gradually by gradually in other to have break down and also do the number of push-ups can carry each days, weekend is always full of busy days to almost everyone because that is the only time we got to do some cleanup within our surroundings.

Diverse exercises have proven to be more effective for aged people. Not restricted to pushups (moreover you've gone past the fighting age, haha) at this age, large biceps and triceps may not freak anymore neither would 6 packs matter much to you. So having to engage in different workouts on different days could actually help to strengthen the entire body parts and prepare you for old age. Morning jugs would definitely have a big influence on Blood pressure regulation and also reduces blood sugar levels to minimal levels. As a diabetic patient, stairs climbing would also be of high importance. Again ensuring that you sweat before quitting any exercise would also be or great effect to reducing the diabetic activities in your system.
