In the op there are dedicated pools 'http://guldenpool.nl:27100/static/' and 'http://p2pool.e-pool.net:8806/static/'

These are the same pool, no?

Both of those are nodes for the Guldencoin p2pool network. In effect, they create one pool together. However, individual nodes may perform differently; anything affecting latency can be a factor, such as geographic location, network latency, disk I/O, etc. In addition, fees are node-specific; guldenpool.nl (and node2.guldenpool.nl) is set at 0.5%, e-pool.net is set at 1%. Nevertheless, when you get a p2pool share, it is shared across all nodes, as is the payout table except for the block-finding bonus (0.5%) and the fee.

Now that the apt-named DELTA plan has succeeded, perhaps it's time to add some nodes? The p2pool network has been stable, but for dedicated mining it would be great to have some nodes in other continents. All three nodes are located in the Netherlands right now. It's not difficult to set up, so if anyone feels like it, let me know!

p2p.0x0a.nl for all your Cryptographic Anomaly, Cypherfunks, FryCoin, GameCredits, Gulden, PenguinCoin, and TittieCoin p2pool nodes! Err.. I mean needs! .. Both.

Thanks for the very detailed response.  Didn't know you could distribute pools like that.  Very cool.

Good to see DELTA is performing well , such a major difference between the number of blocks and blocktimes with Digi. Salute to the devs involved!

Yes, that was the first official announcement after DELTA. At that point there wasn't any news about PoS, X11 is still only PoW.

According to his last message (yesterday, boring holiday I guess Smiley ) on guldencoin.zone one of the three announced algorithms has to leave. My guess is that would be X11 since this one is pretty similar to PoS, accessible-wise.

I was never a fan of POS but it looks like the price is being punished because DELTA is working to almost perfection under these conditions. Unfortunately things have changed and the mining industry is all about trying to ROI then investing and mining a coin. These miners pointed to Jump pools don't even know the coin they mining.

We should strive then to push the price below 300 so these parasites don't make as much profits until the new POS system is released.

Well done to the dev team on DELTA as getting blocks is more important then the price at the birth phase of cryptos. This coin is certainly the cheapest for what it offers. Some marketing should be looked at after the next update. Everything else is on a good path.
