Does anyone know what the situation is with pirate as a "partner" in gpumax? I presume it's possible one of the other devs could take away enough info to set up a clone elsewhere...
AFAIK, zux is the real person behind gpumax as far as dev goes. But then again, I could be completely wrong. I seem to be good at that lately.

I don't believe I have done any GPUMax work today public is staying static. The high rejects to eclipseMC is odd but since I get no reason for the reject I can't guess whats causing sometimes 11 in a row. Still I hope pirate comes back and fixes things. I really like the GPUMax idea, and the one payment I did get was pretty awesome. Since someone has to turn on the work and no one seemed to today at least if they did I missed it with a low price,.I would assume that pirate got sick, had a baby, emergency surgery etc.

Facial reconstruction surgery ? that seems plausible, considering the amount of people that are actively seeking him out. Take a queue from the rest of us suckers - GET OUT NOW.

I understand what you mean. I am not going to tell anyone to mine here. I have been on for only a very few days. I have been paid once. I have not even half yet to be paid. It seems to me like everythig stopped on GPUMax maybe 36 hours ago for sure. The payouts before then it didn't seem like ever ended up 24 hours apart.
As far as BTCST I had money in a passthrough and I got money back. That having been said I really hope nothing too bad happened to pirate. Not because I wish Pirate harm but because there could be other explanations for what has been going on. Yes starting more then two weeks ago pirate closed down BTCST. I am hoping that something unexpected happened to come up and pirate has just been unavailable for a while. Since it seem like pirate has been unavailable for a while either something out of the ordinary happened (luck) or pirate went on a cruise with the dubloons.
I don't know pirate. So far everything that has happened to me has been ok. Sure I have made .59btc but .39 got paid out already. Yeah I was in a PPT system and got paid back. Would I be less happy if my coins (I definately didn't risk them all) had been eaten by the bank sure. My point was maybe there is a reasonable explination for this.
I once went into the hospital with some flu like symptoms and others that had existed for weeks. I didn't even bring my cell phone with me. Nothing to do etc. I spent 40 days in the hospital unable to leave. I am lucky to be alive today. I am willing to give someone a wide margin on explination for 6 days so far pirate is missing. Its no record. As far as the specific condition I am not saying but I can assure you I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

[19:03] <jddebug> zux0r please send out payments. [19:17] <MiningBuddy> ;;seen zux0r [19:17] <gribble> zux0r was last seen in #gpumax 3 days, 8 hours, 30 minutes, and 25 seconds ago: <zux0r> also, please stop using deepbit for now since it appears their ddos service has blacklisted us [19:24] == mb300sd [~mb300sd@gateway/tor-sasl/mb300sd] has joined #gpumax [19:27] == mb300sd_ [~mb300sd@gateway/tor-sasl/mb300sd] has quit [Ping timeout: 276 seconds] [19:32] <Forexmasterja> what causes the price per share to fluctuate when purchasing shares ?? is it based on user set rates ? [19:33] <jimbit> Yes. [19:34] <@pirateat40> Hey guys, payments will go out at midnight for all the purchases run up till today. We are trying to get all the purchases out of the system that need to be run. If you have a purchase pending or paused please contact us at support@gpumax.com so we can investigate it or issue a refund. Thanks. [19:35] <abracadabra> uhm [19:35] <jimbit> I read payments will go out at midnight, and my heart skipped a beat. [19:35] <abracadabra> "We are trying to get all the purchases out of the system that need to be run." [19:35] <abracadabra> why? [19:35] <jimbit> good question, one I had myself [19:36] <jimbit> but it could be just clearing out pending stuff. [19:36] <jimbit> especially if they are accepting purchases on site. [19:36] <@pirateat40> Cause we have a ton of pending purchases with either bad pool info or issues with missing tiny amounts of payment. Well, with the above admission, he is well over 48hrs LATE with a promised payment and more than a few days since the previous payment was even received. Come to your own conclusions, but keep in mind what the rest of us are up to in the Bitcoin Savings & Trust situation.

I got kicked from gpumax irc channel today, so I guess gpumax is over too. If anyone else could confirm the closure of irc channel, that would be helpful, thanks.

I just went in and said hi. Hmm, maybe I'm doing something wrong? I'm getting this message: #gpumax: Cannot join channel (+r) - you need to be identified with services I didn't change any settings, just can't join anymore...

Yea, I went to read FAQ on irc, thanks. I'm using irc only for a few weeks, lol. Sorry for confusion and thanks for helping Goat.

No payments since 8/26 thanks yochdog. The 56hrs 'late' was originally referring to his promise of the ' midnight cleaning out of the system' promise for a couple days ago......whatever that meant. This just continues to look worse and worse by the day.

I've come to the conclusion that I (and we) fell for a scam. I just got the Beta invite a few days, and it looks like a swarm of other did as well. My guess is they decided to abandon GPUMAX, but before they did they invited a bunch of guys, and didn't pay them. They made off with 0.6 BTC from me (not very much), and I bet even more from everyone else. Imagine how much money they just made by not paying the old, and the swarm of new users in the past couple of days? It's mere speculation, by my guess is it's easily over a thousand dollars. I don't think we'll see our money anytime soon... GPUMAX is closing down.
If anyone else is mining at GPUMAX, please stop now. Don't fall for it. Until we start getting paid, along with a big apology, we shouldn't be wasting anymore of our time here.

Probably closer to a thousand bitcoins. Some users have 10+ bitcoins or more tied up in the last couple days. And Im sure there are easily hundreds of users now...

This was Pirates last "Fuck you" the to community. The timing of suddenly inviting everyone and anyone after months of no movement at all was simply too convenient.....right when BTCST went tits up.

Yeah, I was one of those invited. And lucky for me there was no documentation on how to get setup on GPUMAX, which then required me to read up on it. Which lead to me getting very suspicious about the whole situation. I feel lucky in that I only used it for about three days, then stopped early enough that I got the last of what I was owed from GPUMAX in the last payment wave that was sent out. But I know not everyone was that lucky...
