I would like to make a small feature request if it's not going to cause too much trouble: the ability to delete pools/workers

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

If I remember correctly, that's already been requested and Pirate's working on it. I would cite, but I really don't want to look through a 75-page thread...

It looks like your purchase was canceled prior to you sending the BTC.  So they're sitting on your account unused.  If you would like a refund please email support@gpumax.com.

Thanks

attention miners:

Please make sure there is a purchase running before lowering your price.

Lowering your price will NOT make the purchases start.

this is especially tru overnight...  Pirate and z have to sleep sometime. and you just need to be patient, the leased work will start when they kick off the purchases..

:end of rant.

If you want to rant, rant at pirateat40 to provide a convenient way to tell if a purchase is running. Since there currently is no (easy) way, lowering the ask price is the only practical method by which miners can determine this.

You had already asked pirateat40 how it is possible to tell if a purchase is running WITHOUT lowering your price, or resorting to the JSON API. Pirateat40 replied that there is no way. So, until pirateat40 provides a way, miners MUST reduce their price to see if a purchase is running. See here; it wasn't that long ago:

LIES

you do not have to lower your price to check, you just need to check current purchase price and take off 10%

Is there any chance you can update the OP with payment times and cutoff times ?

I realize this was discussed previously but I am still having difficulties understanding why some payouts are at 5:00am MST and others can be over 12 hours later.
I also have no idea what the payment cuttoff time is for a 'day' of mining.

I am not interested in any 3rd party chirps. Horses mouth only please, for clarity if anything.

Anyone is getting public work today? I couldn't lease any shares the whole day! It seems to me leasing is more stable night time! I even tried to set the price down to 0.00004 and 0.00003! nothing! no public work!

I think the biggest issue with leasing is that everyone keeps mucking about with their prices trying to edge out someone else.

If the purchase price is taking wild swings, as a buyer wouldn't you wait to see if there was going to be a deal before buying?

Also, besides pirate sleeping have you thought out that there may not be that many leased shares out there to have?

I don't know how many Gh gpumax commands but I am sure there is a f***ton of competition now that there are so many miners using the service.

Until there is a better system in place for pricing models I would think purchase price stability is the only way anyone will see decent returns on leased work.

tl;dr -  you are not losing anything by not doing public work,  set your price in the .00004-.00005 range and leave it alone.  The shares will come.   Smiley

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

Everyone, quit farting around and just leave it at 0.00005.  What is so hard about that?

We're heavily backed up on purchases ...
From page 72.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Yeah but heavily backed up on 20000 share purchases is probably not enough to satiate everyone's desire for leased shares 24 hours a day.  Wink
