anyone else is having problems? my miner is not connecting.  Undecided

Consider reading the 2 posts right before yours.

Whatever issues there were, seems to be fixed. I am connecting, but no work...  Maybe when they get back from the festivities in Vegas. Lips sealed
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I swear that a third of this thread is people asking when they'll get in.

If anyone wants to skip the wait for a gpumax account, go there --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=96661.0

That's kind of what I expected. I'm going to leave it up to my friend to choose what he wants to do though Tongue

Just check the current purchase price/share, and divide that by 1.1.

I had 30+ GH/s on GPUMax and was one of the people who got swept up in the automatic ban of two or more IPs from one user. I have 3 separate labs (due to heat) that happen to each have their own independent net connections, but all using the same ISP.

Is there any hope in restoring an account after getting banned? By the time I saw the warning in the forum it was too late for me to act upon it. An email warning would have been nice.  Sad

I still can't figure out when I've been paid. I wish it would be located on the transactions page.

Also, last time I tried to check the price to lease shares I ended up putting in a purchase order, but never confirmed it. I was told it wouldn't be an issue, but I wonder if its eating my payments. I wish there was direct customer service through the gpumax site.

Is the only way to talk to pirate or others through the irc channel ?

How do you guys know if you've been paid for public work? I don't get anything in my transaction history for payouts.

That doesn't work yet. If you just started mining wait up to 48 hours then payments will be processed. And if they are not then you can just email support or catch him in irc (I assume) and fix the issue.

Requested invite. Anybody know how often pirate allows new accounts in? I'd read the whole thread, but 100+ pages is a bit daunting. Tongue
