Sorry to hear that. It has been a tough one.
Same here, sorry to hear that.  I'm mining a lot of Namecoin, when it hits $250, all will be good. Wink

Ignore the stat page. It's updated at some random who knows what interval, under the members tab it's fairly accurate.

spring is coming very soon (as I look out and see a 5 inch snowstorm here in NJ)

maybe in honer of spring we get back to back blocks.

The March equinox happens at the same moment across the world but is converted to local time. In 2015, it falls on March 20 at 6:45 P.M. EDT, 5:45 P.M. CDT, 4:45 P.M. MDT, and 3:45 P.M. PDT, for example.

so in 2 hours and change spring arrives.  I see these two blocks popping up within the next 36 hours. This can be a god send for us.

PERSEPHONE  please bail us out here.

To those that don't know she is the greek goddess of spring and for all us miners she is married to the Hades the god of the underworld.
I believe this will turn the tide very soon.

If she fails I will have to switch alliance to Dionysus   the greek god of wine and drown my sorrows with a bottle of wine tonight.

Yup after 18b shares last week I was busted drop from dgm est. Of 4.7btc now under 1.5 btc lol

I may follow very soon. I pushed over 8b shares the last 7 days. and I am at 4.4 btc.  Just about ready to stop feeding it quarters so to speak.   We are at 95% and 141 b shares.

I have about 1 more coin to drop and I am done.

I know the 141b shares is the worst we have ever done not sure if 95.18% is the worst cdf ever.

What is tough is I know 200b shares and 300b shares are possible.

I have been crushed renting hash.

Down 2.9 btc at Kano's pool

Down 4.4 here but could bail out.

Down 1 btc at BAN  .

That is 8.3 btc in about 30 days. Not good.

I  need 2  blocks at this pool in the next few days.

Brutal block that one. We had such a nice run of blocks earlier it's a reminder that blocks can go the other way too. Block 350501 was found by 8dae603b earning them an extra 0.09 BTC in transaction fees.

Well I pushed 25 to 200th for days late in the block. Using nice and west hash.
I think this is every rental I did  on the last block plus I tossed 2 to 6th of my own gear at it.
This block was more then 50 days long.  I hashed at it the last 15 days.
I spent more then I collected but my rollover is more then 2.8 btc as I type.
If we hit in the next week I will get a lot back maybe 2 btc of that 2.8 btc.
If we hit 2 in the next 3 weeks  I could get 2 + 1 coin.  I did not add all the coins below but I have to be down 2 btc at  this moment.  Long blocks are death to miners even if you missed the first part of the block I came in under the 105 billion mark
so of the last 55 billion shares I mined 10.5 billion of them.

I got as high as 4.2 btc but I then used 20th rentals as rental price got very high.  Give me  few minutes to get data.   At this moment in time I lost money on this. But my rollover is high so if we hit a block right now or in the next day I get ahead.

Ding Dong that block is dead yay only lost 5btc on it lmao Grin Grin Grin

I hung in  there and  collected 3.8 , but I spent 5 btc to collect it.

I did more then 10  billion shares.

How long did you mine to get 3.8 BTC and at what avg hashrate?

Well I pushed 100 to 200th for days late in the block .

So if I see this correct, almost 2 months? And that's all you got for that amount?

no you see part of the story.  This is a higher risk pool. When it has blocks over 80% you really get punished.  The last block was 97% so all of us got hurt a lot as of this moment.  But this pool has rollover credit.  my screenshot above shows I have a 2.8 btc rollover credit. So If blocks come fast at 10 or 20%. Most of that 2.8btc  will be paid to me.

I could collect on that rollover 3 or 4 times if we get fast blocks with no mining done just based on the past money spent.  if you look now I am only tossing 2gh a usb stick at my account (the one with red highlights) yet a block pops and 2.8btc is due me. Of course if we do a 1200 hour 50 day block back to back it will shrink a lot. Only time will tell how well this did.

but you get that 2.8 only if you find a quick-ish block, right?. If you have another 50 day block, your share goes down? Why not throw that type of hash at a multipool and get consistent payouts? And most likely make more. I run a multipool for a guy. I payout the equivalent of 2BTC every 3-4 days. We only have 20-30TH of SHA mining power. BTC is an option for payouts. Look at some multipools for your hash. Just an idea.

it is fine a lot of big rollers like me are not pointing hash here .  last block I pointed enough hash here to do 10 billion shares  I got 3.5 coin payoff and still lost some coin.  but this pool counts the prior blocks work so that worker has a credit of more then 2 coins

Rank         Id             DGM Est           PPS                    SHARES          Hash Rate
22              7c9016f6    2.36573180     0.00504628      126,157,034               0

my rank is 22  based on shares this block and my PPS is only 0.00504628  and I am not even hashing
right now.   But my rollover DGM Est is huge  2.36 coins   that is because I spent so much last pool.

follow this worker  the DGM Est will slowly shrink if I don't mine and the PPS will stay frozen. If you look you can see the DGM did already drop just a little.

I won't mine on this worker for a  day or 2. I am hoping some one hits a block real quick so I can grab those 2+ coins.  then next block.  that dgm est will be 1.5 btc or so If we hit a fast block here I may push a solid rental next block.
