Pool is operational again, sorry about the inconveniance. It still requires a PM to get the mining address - The DoS is still in progress but I hope to have some protection in place soon.

Such a nice pool, what a bad people ddos-ing it yeah pretty mean spirited since this pool does 1 or 2 blocks a month. not like attacking a big pool. that does 300 or more blocks a month.

Got this in PM today. No way of telling if it's the actual attackers - it could be someone looking to captialize: Hello,
We are giving you a limited time to send 1 BTC to [BTC address removed]
We have multiple people watching your thread, and currently on the backup pool who have been mining with you a while ago.
We promise that after you do this, your name will be whitelisted on our attack system and you will never be targeted. This is a one time deal.
CloudFlare will not help against our power, as we can pull their nameserver records and get the direct IP, and with our new layer 7 method, no hardware protection at a datacenter will help.
We have been using Layer 4 Transport UDP. We have upgraded.
Final chance, 1 BTC to [BTC address removed] . No one will know that you did it, and we will never even look at your posts or site ever again.

What a bunch of amateurs. Really.
They have so much power that they choose one of the smallest pools with the least amount of spare funds? Unbelievable.
I feel for you mmpool, being targeted by a bunch of 10 year old dorks like this..........they'll soon get bored.
If they/he/she/it had an ounce of brains they'd be hitting a large, rich pool.......
Absolutely ridiculous.

look worse comes to worse. you can keep rotating the backup pools.
I am mining on it now as a few others we can keep it going via secret pool addresses if we have to.
we can rotate the miners give 5 miner the backup let them mine for 1 day. next day 5 new miners with a new backup see if they really can find the backup addresses.
we find 2 blocks a month in a good month and people look to squeeze us.

More from them: To prove it was us, we had 2 attacks sent out on July 8th, and one that night on backup1.mmpool.org We were also on your IRC node, but got no reply.
We are aware you had your host null route your site IP to localhost or 127.0.0.1
We also know about your test server, or [ip address]
We also attacked BTCDig, Multipool.us and Give-me-Coins which they can confirm we are the real one.

Unfortunately the hidden address is now down. Mining is still available over tor. I'm giving users that PM me their own IP addresses to mine on. If you want one and I haven't already got in touch with you please PM. Don't be offended if it takes me time to get back to you - I'll try to get back as soon as I can.

mmpool where did you get this quote ?
I think they are sending him pm's or emails. most likely pm's not sure. mmpool will give you an address to mine one if you pm him. the pool is doing around 60th here are some of the stats from tor . I cut off the pool address but this is the current set of numbers I did the first 20 miners

To prove more strength we have completely taken down the Bitcoin Talk backboard system for files. Such as images... We are NOT playing games anymore!

Why this pool when you can take down images? For all of bitcointalk.org these are direct links to the images I had up http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/633/ppmtpP.pnghttp://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/538/bwDxks.pngThe fact that you attack this pool and hinder the images on it merely shows you have access to part of bitcointalk's image listings. which means you may be someone that works with the site. or maybe you are the people that hacked us about 5 weeks ago. The fact is why not just pull every image off bitcointalk and tell the site pay up. why bother us we are tiny.

Why this pool when you can take down images? For all of bitcointalk.org Until they pay the debt they owe, they are not getting online, atleast publicly. They had their host null route their IP, but we still have the direct IP through DNS history records. Once it is paid, mmpool and BTC Talk will never be touched again by us. And sooner or later they will give the URL to someone willing to sell it for BTC, and then we will have it for a 3rd time. We are not asking for much, he can afford it...

Why not leave us be. you certainly show you can play heavy duty attacks against a small pool. even if he owes you 1 coin it is not much money. attack something else. A lot of us are being hurt by this. What you do affects 100 plus miners that don't know you and did no harm to you. You are also hurting others people rent to mine you hurt the ones leasing rigs.

We also crippled BTCDig for quite a few days, multipool.us and give-me-coins.
There are a team of us, each specializing in a field. We were part of DD4BC, atleast the USA/AU subsidy.
We have access to many servers, and many hosts. How do you think we got CloudMinr's leak before it was published over http?
And you have found many more blocks than 1-2 a month, one records show you found as many as 4 in a month, so you are not small.
For us,s mall is less than 30 TH/s, you are 60-100 TH/s.
You are acting like 1 BTC is so much, will it be so much when you owe the host a new NIC port?
Your choice, not ours. And yes, we know some of the administrators here, or maybe we are one, you will not know.
Or maybe we work intern at DigitalOcean?

He is the one hurting "his" people, not us. It is not hard to change stratum nodes.
