since btc is trending up in trade value vs. old style money lots of people are getting out miners they turned off and turning them back on ,
maybe a few of you will consider pointing some hash to mm pool and try to hit a block ?
you can mine several coins at the same time !!!
i know some people think that if we all point hash at the same time we have a better chance of hitting a block, actually this is not accurate any more than say if you play a lottery type game once a day for many days or buy multiple tickets all on the same day
if the chances of getting a winning ticket are very small compared to the number of other tickets could exist from a math angle the results will average out to the same.
i will admit there is a kind of psychological feeling that makes it seem like we have a better chance of hitting a block when we are all mining at once instead of if we take turns or randomly point and equal amount of hash power at the pool ....
Well if we run 10th 10 days in a row or 100th for one day that is equal.
But If you were mining here when btc was 230 and 250 a coin and are say at 1btc 1.33
like the number 6 place miner below

If pays for him to toss .1 btc at 100th right now Since most of his mining was done at the 230 dollar price and now the coins are worth 390.
So anyone with decent levels at this moment should boost a bit. Hoping to hit while coins are up in price. well above the 230 to 250 levels most of this round was at.
This is why I pushed hard hoping to hit at high dollar levels
