Guys I was wondering anyone who use Nicehash have a problems mining zcash ?
Hi, i'm mining without a problem now on nicehash, but i am not using nicehash miner software.

But what i see is, yesterday was my earnings over 4$/per day, and now it is down to 1.2$/day Undecided with the same speed.
Many farms out there....soon it will be 0.20$/day.

Hi, i have a problem with the latest nicehash miner.
The nheqminer does not accept my changes in the settings, i want to use less cores, but it keeps using all my cores of mine i7 720 cpu.
Could you pls look in to this?

There s no point using CPU miner. Most powerful I7 will generate 8c per day or close to that. You ll make much more if you do sig campaigns. Not to mention if you don't use all cores, you ll make half of that.

Actually the 'Most powerful i7' should generate about 30+sols/s. Quite more than 8cents per day. More like 8-$9 per day at the past day's averages.

Heck, an FX 8-core CPU is hashing at 11+sols/s and it's the slow 3Ghz version.

Earning s re dropping big time due to Zcash price drop. In a few days, all CPU mining ll generate re pennies. Zcash s based on pure hype, nothing else.

 Was there a doubt? LOL... We made enough in the past 2 days I think to be worth it. LOL

Most miners report as sols/s. What miner you using?

Ahh I would bet they mean sols/s but don't quote me on that.  Prolly just easier on the web end to keep everything in h/s as most all miners are.   I would try to find a calc in zcash forum and compare it to whattomine and see if you get similar results. Or maybe try to reach out to them.  Wish I could be more helpful

BR

Edit if you click on defaults. It should give you the stats for a 280x. Compare that result with real world test.  A 280x somewhere around 24-26 sols/s with right software.  That's also going to be an issue with their default settings. What software did they benchmark 280x on?

Ok so I checked it myself. Seems they say 280x only 10 sols/s. Well that's way off!!  It's about 25 on genoil o.5. Look there aswell on GitHub.  @Nicehash. When you implement silent army kernels?

We are working on it - but we are mostly focused on providing sources as well and make a working Linux & Windows solution, this is why it is taking a bit longer.

Looks like perhaps the Zcash stratum servers are overloaded?
Some can connect, but others cannot.
For example, I have one that can connect to the EU server, even though it is located in the US, while others have no issue connecting to the US.
Tried restarting the application and server numerous times to solve the issue, but no such luck.
Is there a way in Ubuntu to have a failover of pools to help solve this?
