so now that the PoS has kicked in, does that mean the blockchain is nearly impossible to 51% attack?

Yes.  Impossible,  actually.   Every wallet stakes by itself...

so whitecoin which has the potential to be the highest volume traded coin on mintpal, you think they would delist it?? lol you trolls are hilarious  Cheesy

I think they are careful and will restore the service as safe as possible.

But there are other exchanges waiting to take their position, so they need to do it wisely.

Just ask them for deadlines, to know if they are trustworthy.

I hope it will cool the atmosphere ;-)

I've been talking with mintpal, and mintpal also talked with cryptsy who did a security audit of my commits. Things are fine, they just want to triple-check everything so there are no issues.

Thanks to mintpal for making sure we're all secure and not just rushing to make some quick BTCs on trade volume.

triple-check will take a few hours, a few days, a few months, a few years or ever!

triple check yourself for aids

Hi friends.

I'm Xip, I'm really happy to show you something brand new for Whitecoin. I've been working closely with the foundation transition team, so without further ado:

You are welcome to look at our new brand new WhitecoinFoundation.org. Here you can see the overall brand concept that I have been working on. It is still a work in progress (so don't expect anything functional yet) but we hope you recognize where we want to take this. Consider this a sneak peak.

The new logotype is not the typical coin logo you would expect. A storm of white light. We see this energy as the symbol of WhiteCoin's competitive and fighting spirit. With the hundreds of lookalike coin logos out there, we want a brand that stands apart. And ours is meant to say one simple thing: Whitecoin is charged and ready to go.

I am looking forward to serve this community.

PS. We will be rolling out our own forums in a near future as well. Hope to see you there soon!

Don't forget to join our chat (#WhitecoinFoundation on Freenode) here at:
http://www.whitecoinfoundation.org/chat.html

At your service,

Xip

Thanks so much for this Xip!

Everyone, Xip has been working extremely hard for us to develop this concept. We're really excited about it and are looking forward to your input. Here, check out some more of his logo designs:

pretty cool designs Xip, nice work

It's only impossible if the PoW code has been removed, or made inaccessible. Have the devs taken the required precautions?

Those images don't make any sense. You are the worst PR manager ever mogonzo.

16X16, 32X32??? WTF

They're pixel sizes. Common for graphic designers to show different scales.

You're a fucking idiot and now ignored by yet another person.

Those are the kind of images that you would see in exchange lists or perhaps coinmarketcap.com I don't see what all the fuss is about. That's a standard way of displaying example graphics. Please go fud somewhere else.

DayTrade with less exposure to risk, by setting buy and sell spreads with CabTrader v2, buy now @ crypto-folio.com

always rumors coming out of the Mintpal Mods reunion: Mintpal may ask for about 20 BTC to defrost a wallets.
the idea is very disputed but remains an option for accelerating the wallets defrost.

Sounds great Cheesy

It makes no sense, as they will have it after ~7000 BTC volume, 1 - 2 weeks.

For exchange is better to open the market instead of begging for coins.

It's even more ridiculous xD

[22:58] <+MintPal-Jason> We've just processed all pending WC deposits & are requiring 30 confirms for now. All confirmed withdraws have also been processed but please bear in mind that any submitted prior to ~12hours ago would have been returned as UNSUCCESSFUL so will need to be re-submitted.
