Our donations today: 1 BTC - SimpleX Chat ( https://simplex.chat) - https://mempool.space/tx/1c72e10a91f06979cd4c8d239ef548c10a1515573187c7f2d9a2229d1b5ffceeeXch was a first project in the cryptocurrency industry to employ SimpleX as a part of public communications which helped to bring SimpleX Chat a wider usage just in a period of 1 year, since other crypto-related projects now start to adopt SimpleX as their communication platform. This is our second donation to the SimpleX Chat project. 1 BTC - DivestOS ROM ( https://divestos.org) - https://mempool.space/tx/782153c2193b2801dfcdb9458ebc4125c033cfbe5ff554741e1857d37c079949DivestOS plays a critical role in secure mobile communications among eXch team members by providing LineageOS usermode builds with lots of important security patches (incl. from GrapheneOS) that stand in a perfect balance between useability and security. 31 ETH - Legal Defense Fund support for Tornado Cash developers Alexey Pertsev and Roman Storm ( https://juicebox.money/@free-pertsev-and-storm, https://wewantjusticedao.org) - https://etherscan.io/tx/0x98bfc604c917ccc83d1a86b7af1542011a5aa54208dd110036e2c280a963a498We believe that their legal team should consider highlighting the fact that crypto was never considered a financial instrument for many years in addition to being unregulated, which should automatically make any attempts to apply fiat-based anti-money laundering regulations to anyone working with crypto unlawful. Basing the defense line on historical facts where major central banks and governments refused to admit crypto as a financial instrument should bring positive results. FATF documentation contains lots of inaccuracies and their VASP-related guidance approaching crypto is highly immature. There is a lot of material to structuralize good defense.
Further donations: We are looking to donate 1 BTC (or more) to any mobile Bitcoin Lightning wallet project that makes themselves included into the official F-Droid repository. (Only wallets that integrate a full LN node, i.e. Blixt) We are looking to donate 1 BTC (or more) to any mobile Monero SPV wallet that makes themselves included into the official F-Droid repository.

Hopefully it is not a problem that I am answering to this particular message on this Board but I really wanted to applaud you for these Donations and I want to thank you for caring. Particularly for doing your best to support and help expand the F-Droid repository too, I can only appreciate your choices. In times like these, I am glad and happy to see there is Money going toward the good work of the people and toward Freedom. Proud to be advertising your Services nevertheless.

You should create dedicated page for this bounties/donations, if you didn't do this already. We are looking to donate 1 BTC (or more) to any mobile Monero SPV wallet that makes themselves included into the official F-Droid repository.
I think there are some monero wallets available on F-Droid repository, but they are not SPV wallets. It would be good to have one developed like this but that could be bad overall because privacy would have to be sacrificed.

Very minimum, though. Imagine the equivalent of FeatherWallet to mobile version, just as Electrum for mobile: https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/mobile/android/electrum/. In Feather, you do not reveal to the public nodes the recipients, nor the amounts transferred. You neither reveal your inputs, although there's a chance the node executes a very rare (and costly I think) attack which can reveal the true input of a transaction, but that's detectable by the client. The problem with mobile client would be bandwidth and verification time. You would need to download the entire blockchain since your wallet's block height. That's feasible to do for a modern computer, but a smartphone has a slower Internet speed and is less computationally capable to verify all those blocks.

What is happening here, is it an upgrade? Ethereum and its tokens have been removed from exch, they do not exist in the dropdown menu nor are they shown in the reserves.
edit: 07-06-2024 ETH node downtime Ethereum node crashed and corrupted its blockdata files itself. We are currently resyncing the whole blockchain which will take some hours. All affected orders (that involve ETH, USDT, DAI and USDC) will be processed once the resynchronitzation is complete.

I was trying to make a swap for ETH yesterday and kept getting errors during the exchange process. Although ETH was an option, it didn't get as far as generating a deposit address, so no harm, no foul. Will just be patient and check back later. Our donations today: ...

ETH node is working again on eXch, but it seems that they don't recommend its use either. Here is the last statement about the whole thing: 10-06-2024 ETH node degraded performance. Due to low quality code being committed by the contributor "Holiman" to the main Ethereum repository (go-ethereum), our ETH node is experiencing instability for last days affecting orders involving ETH and ERC-20 tokens. Any orders created to receive or send these currencies may face deposit detection and payout delays till the situation is reviewed and resolved. If you don't want to experience unexpected order delays, please do not trade ETH on our platform till the further update of this notification. Ticket response times related to ETH and ERC20 currently vary from 12 to 24 hours.

ETH node is working again on eXch, but it seems that they don't recommend its use either. Here is the last statement about the whole thing: That's too bad. I hope they can fix that. eXch is one of my go-to no KYC exchanges when I am trading bitcoin for stablecoins. I am sure that I am not the only one because the stablecoin reserves deplete quickly when bitcoin is up. I never experienced delays in receiving my coins in the past.

I miss old bitcoin usdt...
I have not been a fan of Ethereum for a long time, so I am not particularly disappointed and if it does not work, it is certainly better for the business itself if it is present. Judging by the displayed 24h trade volume on exch, Eth is the most popular after Bitcoin. Earlier, they already made a statement related to the implementation of Tron and stablecoin from that network. We may not like it, but the reason is quite understandable Most likely not and specially if the purpose of supporting the whole new network is only because of 1 stablecoin (USDT). USDC is quitting Tron by February 2025, DAI is Ethereum only, other stablecoins are either scam or potential scam. Almost every crypto company looks like this https://youtube.com/watch?v=soNnMObpiYM so I think you might understand our lack of motivation to support centralized stablecoins (we support them with risks assumed).

One more reason to open support for other chains. At least Polygon or some other ethereum L2/sidechain or even tron If they change their mind about adding support for new blockchains and their tokens, I think it makes the most sense to add those with the most trading volume. If we consider the two most popular networks for stablecoins, then those are Ethereum and Tron. I wished they had added Tron's USDT in the past, but ever since Ethereum's last network upgrade, it doesn't bother me anymore. The fees on the main chain have gone down to rival and even be cheaper than those on Tron.

Nothing unusual in my opinion, it only seems to be online when it needs to communicate urgent/important info They already said earlier that they don't have a specific person for communication and support with users, but one of the team members does it. In the last few days, they had some difficulties with the operation of the Ethereum node, I wouldn't be surprised if they are currently dedicated to solving that.

Though they have not been mentioned as much they should have been in this thread or in any part of the forum, these are very without a doubt extremely generous donations and will definitely be appreciated by the recipients. The one that stands out the most is Simple X because of the reviews it is receiving. It is being used by more people as it gains popularity as an alternative to (primarily) Whatsapp and Signal. As for those that could receive the other donations, I wish the best for all vying for them. Our donations today:

Everyone is welcome to join the 13 th Free Raffle to try to win a nice Custom eXch Cryptosteel Capsule! Thanks again for posting here, paid2! I just registered! Let's see for who the number 13 will be the lucky one. (I have no doubt, it will not be me that one...) I also wish to thank to eXch for this raffle. I was also wondering, seeing the success of these raffles, if eXch has something in mind about coming up with some other series of raffles, maybe with other kind of collectibles, after these 20 raffles will end? I know it's a lot of time left until the 20th raffle will be held, but maybe if eXch has something in mind about continuing with such raffles, maybe some constructive ideas may come up in this amount of time. Besides all of the above, I posted raffle in the Romanian translation of OP and also inside the Romanian thread dedicated for contests.
