About 17.4 coins per block currently.  The daemon will report the current block reward any time someone finds a block.

Now i am getting this when i try to compile:

virtual memory exhausted: Cannot allocate memory
Cheesy

Just compile on normal machine with this:

Code:
rm -rf build; mkdir -p build/release; cd build/release; cmake -D STATIC=ON -D ARCH="x86-64" -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release ../..; make -j daemon simplewallet;cd ../..;
You will get binary that can be executed on virtual machine (it works for example for digital ocean droplets based on ubuntu 14)

Anyone else having trouble finding a block?

I've been mining since launch with 32 threads and a hashrate of 1648035 and nothing yet.

There are only 116 blocks as for now. So its quite difficult to find a block. And it seems many people are mining. Blocks are coming slow. Not like all the instamined coins out there...
As i said befor start - difficulty function is pretty quickly adapts to hashrate.
So it true that there are no instamine.

I got one block, with a total of 500.000 hashes so its ok for small miners too.

just a question, why the system reports me getting some very small amounts (decimals) and then a full block?

Also can you please post the coin's characteristics:
block size, block halving, total number of coins, block time etc

I am very surprised so much attention from the miners.

Once again, I want to draw your attention to the fact that this project - it's not just a fork with decorative changes, taken from a well-functioning currency.
We have made many changes to the code, and despite our best efforts, there is is a significant risk that the first launch of the network can have serious problems or even fail. (I've restarted the test network at least five times).
So keep it in mind when you invest in mining.
If things go well within a week - we assume that launch was success. If we'll face with big unsolvable troubles - we'll relaunch.

But i hope everything gonna be ok!

By the way - i found two blocks... frankly - I had hoped for more Smiley

And the last one, i want to remind about donations:
With each block you do a vote about donation policy.
By default it turned to ON, assuming that you support projects team.
But if you disagree with that, feel free to set donation vote to off (false), and your vote will decrease project's team reward.
To set donations mode in running deamon:
Code:
set_donations [false|true]

To set up this as daemon command line option:
Code:
boolb --donation-vote=[false|true]

Code:
simplewallet --wallet-file=path/to/you/walletfile [--password=12345]

Seems that we need some HOWTO guide.
Is there anyone who can take it over and make HOWTO?
I'll put it on website and to github wiki, with many thanks.

If we leave it as is then donations is on right?

Also I think this is a very nice project and worth the risk of mining early.

Please inform us about total coinumber, block time , block halving etc

Yes, buy default it's on.
I've noticed it again just to avoid the feeling that we have something to hide or cheat.

You don't have to donate your own money.
We've reserved 1% of whole emission for that, and your vote in each block regulates emission of this reservation.
Once a day, each 720's block transfer reward for team according the number of voted blocks.
For example:
If all of last 720 block's voted for donation than transfered maximum amount - 1% of day reward.
If half of last 720 block's voted for donation than transfered half amount - 0.5% of day reward.
If none of last 720 block's voted for donation than nothing transfered.

I see 100.0 coins for zoidberg that i guess you sent, but... i've not expected that miners gonna send us their own mined coins.
So... if you miss this point i can send this coins back to you, according to curren difficulty it is not so easy to find couple of blocks Smiley
Feel free to conact me.
