Less BBR are on sale after the dump. Buy support is at 40 BTC. Price is higher than it was a week ago.

This is actually good news for BBR!

I don't hold any bags, sorry.

edit: is this the general reaction in the BBR community to superNET though? Do people not understand it? I'm a little surprised tbh.

CZ: Did you ever comment on this piece? I see some folks in this board that have responded on referenced article, but no direct comment from you (that I am aware of or saw). Also interesting about btc-mike. He was one of the pillars seemingly separating BBR from the CN swirl.

I certainly enjoy BBR's front end, but XMR seems to be the 800 pound gorilla. Would love to swoop in and support BBR, but all this CryptoNote swirl has me gun shy.

Pardon me if this is "old news" (where one month in the crypto world is ancient history). I'm rather new around the crypto scene and I imagine my post will get some eye rolls, so thanks for the patience and responses from anyone in here that knows much more than I do.

Long story short is that BBR is more developed than XMR right now with multiple features including improved anon, blockchain size reduction, official GUI wallet, aliases and probably more.

XMR devs have plans to add their own additions to XMR over time in their own way but at this point BBR offers more.

And that conjecture by the writer of the article is just that. And it's actually not that big of a deal whether CZ was that guy or not as that person was found not guilty of running that botnet. So it's nothing that is ever going to be proved one way or the other. At this point it's best just to let actions speak louder than words imo.

Why this dump? What happened  Huh

Looks like another round of rage dumping following "the announcement" which was reneging the plans originally planned for the announcement  Roll Eyes My guess is that CZ backed out of the whole SuperNET idea? which is what the entire CN community wanted (XMR etc).

So we have people with a lot of money who wanted BBR to do things certain way (XMR wanted it to just go away/die and not side with the whole James saga, SuperNET guys wanted it to be Super Duper etc etc) and CZ said no to everyone.

....

The descision is related only with fundrising.
Boolberry is opened for any interesting projects/services, and if SuperNet is really about technology and interested in integration - than i would be happy to provide integration support. Few days ago i told to James once again that his project could be interesting but there is no technical documentation that allow to grasp his ideas, and i still not sure what kind of challenge is the SupperNet.

So it's up to James.

Zoidberg

Are you still affiliating with SuperNET then? Can James Bond clarify about the situation? He is the one with the biggest stash and we know it because he said so publicly. If there is no documentation what is the "SupperNet" (sic)/BBR allegiance for?

Look, please hire someone who knows how to articulate your opinions. This is all too confusing still.

I think this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577267.msg9118992#msg9118992 sums up the general feelings towards superNET (i.e. sounds interesting however the concept is quite difficult to grasp at present).

Hmm, well he's been pretty busy from what I've seen every day working on coding and testing. And there's already a ton of code on github. Perhaps you two should schedule some time to go through it together(just a suggestion). Part of the issue is that there are still a few elements that need to be finished like instantDEX, and I beleive he's been doing a lot of work on Teleport and the general superNET network architecture. So maybe just waiting for it to be fully coded is better. Not sure, but the work is being done so I wouldn't worry too much as in time I'm sure it will get clearer. Documentation doesn't seem to be one of James' strong points, but churning out a lot of code is so in time things should work out.

I expect it's going to be essential anyway that you assist him with the security aspect of it as it's something that is critical of course. So eventually it will all need to be worked out.

The back end technical concepts might be difficult to grasp but the overarching concept of what superNET is intended to be for users shouldn't be.

Part of the issue might be that superNET relies on using NXT as a backend and CZ and others aren't familiar with the NXT AE and the MGW and other things then it might be harder to understand how things are going to be moved.

I don't hold any bags, sorry.

edit: is this the general reaction in the BBR community to superNET though? Do people not understand it? I'm a little surprised tbh.

If nobody understands it but james, maybe there is a problem with james?

Do you even understand it yourself? Because at no point you explained it. Your last post about supernet is just words and words that goes nowhere. So once again : there is no technology behind supernet. all this talk about technology and teleport (people are being nice to james when they say they dont understand it, they are just too polite to qualify it as a sham) are just here to hide its true purpose: supernet is just a mega fund that aggregates the value of any coin that it lists. There is no value for anyone using it since you pay a fee to james; and you miss most of the rise in value of the newly listed coins since it happens before the supernet listing. Basically, it is a paying pump and dump group where james is the only one with insider information.

At best, snake oil. At worse, scam.

Look, please hire someone who knows how to articulate your opinions. This is all too confusing still.

Why don't you donate to CZ for this purpose?

I donate via mining. Do you?

Bagholding till you die !

I don't hold any bags, sorry.

edit: is this the general reaction in the BBR community to superNET though? Do people not understand it? I'm a little surprised tbh.

I think this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577267.msg9118992#msg9118992 sums up the general feelings towards superNET (i.e. sounds interesting however the concept is quite difficult to grasp at present).

The back end technical concepts might be difficult to grasp but the overarching concept of what superNET is intended to be for useres shouldn't be.

Part of the issue might be that superNET relies on using NXT as a backend and CZ and others aren't familiar with the NXT AE and the MGW and other things then it might be harder to understand how things are going to be moved.

CZ who despite "coding like there is no tomorrow"TM fails to see what it is, can you blame anyone?

I might have started the SuperNET angle here, but I really don't know. We just need some clear/concise explanation and CZ's last post indicated that he is as confused as anyone. Someone dropped 50k out of nowhere and all major support was gone from the books. So yah ....

My post wasn't an attempt to explain what superNET is intended to be from user's perspective. If people want me to explain what it is intended to be from a users perspective I can do that. I can't explain it from a technical perspective though and I've never claimed that I could. I have a general idea of some of the technologies that are going to be involved, some of which are already developed and working.

AnonyMint understood Teleport after James explained it to him.

SuperNET is not just a mega fund of any coin it lists and if you're thinking about it that way you're totally wrong. SuperNET as an investment is closer to an open source company that is attempting to generate revenue that's payed back in dividends to shareholders.

What fee are you referring to? There's currently only 1% of the fund allocated for operating expenses right now.

I've yet to see someone criticize superNET on a conceptual level after actually researching what it's about. Ever criticism I've come across on this forum has been based totally on peoples assumptions of what they think it is, not what it actually is.
