Hey Karma coin community,
I've been into a few other different alt coins and this one has really peeked my interest. Mainly I've enjoyed mining and trading them but also have noticed that there are no real outlets for a lot of coins and I don't know if that is still the case for Karma coin but I wanted to offer this community something.
I'm launching a site in the next few days that will sell small little things like USB drives and other inexpensive items that can be purchased with Karma coins! THat is if I get enough approval from communities that I reach out to.
Please hit me up and hound me with questions/comments!!! I want to hear from everyone.
Thank you guys for your time and see in the pools, - Jon
welcome to the community and good luck with your venture..

I have prepared a small donations of 3x10 million KARMA for every mobile wallet - Windows mobile, Android and iOS. They are available only to none dev team members. Maybe it is buried somewhere in these 373 pages, but not forgotten. Every mobile wallet should be fully working, if possible not very ugly and approved by Who, East and I suppose the swiss. Also the code must be shared with the community. So, if you are interested with Karma and Windows mobile development, we all will be happy to see your skills in action. BTW: East, it`s a boy

To everyone,
Our team is working late into the night later than expected to get the site up. We will be featuring an "about this coin" page for every accepted coin, again the store will not be yet functional until a few days later so please bare with us!
I'll keep you all posted.
No donations please until there is something up that you all can donate to.
To batesresearch:
We plan to launch only a few Karma coins ourselves (looking at about quarter of a million) and just looking at helping the market flow to improve the coin and its awareness. As we accumulate coins we will be selling them to boost the economy of the coin. NOT DUMPING but appropriate calculated selling as well as heavy investments back into the coin and donations to any good cause that will accept karma coin.
Thanks - Jon

Nightly progress note before the team signs off for the night:
The server has been configured, everything should be ready for launch, we are currently only experiencing a delay in DNS pointing and nameservers trasnfer.
This is my apologies as I had forgotten that this was still in effect. The site will be up within the day though (or should be the nameservers shouldn't take much longer).
Goodnight guys and speak with you a few ZZZZ's later
- Jon

Hello Everyone,
We had some logistical issues with putting the site live that we were dealing with yesterday. Currently the site is accessible through https but not regular http and horribly lacking content (Planning to fix this in a few hours)
Due to yesterdays delay we are delayed in having the site fully functional. Hopefully no more issues and since it is a weekend it will be worked on all day so a lot of progress should follow this post by the time you see it.
Will be keeping you all posted thank you! - Jon

Good work! Let's add value to this coin so that it can reach (and go beyond) the 1M USD market cap again!

Hi,
I have a small issue with my wallet.
I downloaded the karma wallet yesterday, fresh blockchain... fresh wallet.dat... everything new... Added the .conf file for the nodes.. Synced up completely...
Now the issue that keeps coming back is a stuck wallet... Every 2-3 hours I get a "zero hours behind" in the sync bar, and an out of sync message above my balance... After a wallet restart, it syncs up again.... Is this a known issue?
Cheers,
BanzaiBTC
PS
Is there a standalone wallet instead of the installer?

i have noticed this happening to windows wallets.
i believe it is a constant fight between old nodes join the network and throwing the wallet off for a millisecond. then the new nodes disconnect the old nodes.
hence why it shows 0-block instated of other blocks.
In the back end, everything should be working fine. as in you can send and receive coins. You are not on a "fork". You can test it by sending 10 or less coins out and they should be sent out normally.
So its not that you are out of synch. its older nodes trying to connect and while they are looked up for validation they throw your wallet front end off. and they do this constantly..
look at your log files in the karma folder for the bad nodes connecting and disconnecting.

Thank you for the explanation. Maybe its time for an update to block all the old nodes from connecting to the main chain? It seems Comkort is having similair issues I hope that I'm in the newest thread: Last block for KARM wallet has been seen 1 day and 22 hours ago. All operations for KARM disabled untill new block will be found. https://comkort.com/trade/karm_doge
