I'm only getting 5.5h/s on a 750ti. Is that correct?   thx

No, should be 200-250 h/s. Best place to debug probably #monero or #monero-pools on freenode.
Thx  I didn't know about the  -l 8x30  getting 225h/s 750ti windows 8... windows 7 people are getting higher hashrate with 8x60.  thx
I'm on Monerohash pool and my hashrate isn't showing. Any help on that plz
I put my address in but not showing any hashrate.  Undecided

Here is my bat file minus some characters is that correct for auto deposit?   thx

ccminer.exe  -a cryptonight -l 8x30 -o stratum+tcp://monerohash.com:3333   -u 45JiRixD8VeGbpjCTA12noXmi4ZyBZLc99e66NtnKff34fHsGRos1V4QVcB.ff0e26d3f41f39b0b08 81fa479eb180e4d0a93f24fa2d03   -p x   -d 0,2

Your address is way too short. Where did you get it from?

Edit:It just occurred to me that maybe you don't want everyone to know your address, so people don't go snooping.
Dang! I should start thinking before I write stuff...

I wonder if Pepe realizes the person who answered his database question is the author of LMDB?

Wink

Most folks seem to miss that...

your work on the miners shows that you can code

No, how should Pepe have known? He's not psychic you know.

Kudos, mr. hyc

So... Pepe adds more names to his "true devs" list.
This list grows much slower than the "fake devs" list that Pepe maintains too.

Pepe realizes that monero has a high concentration of brain matter.
He is a fan of "doing things differently" instead of copy pasta.

I think you have something misconfigured. Your page shows the network hash rate as double the reality -

 Hash Rate: 68.55 MH/sec

I hate to say it but I think monero may actually be better than zcash but I still have a few questions. My problem is with the zcash trusted setup, but back to that later.

First a question about monero. So monero has a invisible blockchain as do all cryptonote coins. But what if Alice sends bob $100 in monero and bob claims he never got it?
Since xmr does not have a transparent blockchain (btc, etc) to publicly audit I guess Alice would send bob the wallet viewkey right? What if a 3rd party (ebay, etc) needed to review the dispute, Alice would just send them the viewkey too, right?
What if bob or the 3rd party published the viewkey on the internet, Wouldn't everyone be able to see the transaction and wouldn't everyone be able to see all the wallet addresses or transactions? Thanks Smiley

If so, is the same true of zcash?

There is a viewkey for your wallet and individual viewkeys for each transaction.

If Alice sends Bob 100 XMR and Bob says he never got it, Alice can prove it using the transaction id, the transaction viewkey, and the public XMR address of Bob.

Here is a tool to do so:

No this is correct. The "individual view keys" you mentioned are called private tx keys in Monero. @MasterMined710, some more information can be found here:

Thanks guys, that's better than i thought it was.

"It doesn't prove you sent the amount, but it does prove that amount was sent (and received). – Luigi Oct 3 at 18:46"

So i guess it doesn't show the address it came from just that the amount was sent from someone to the address? The easy solution would be to generate a new address for each transaction.

Not as easy as having a public blockchain anyone could quickly verify but a good solution nonetheless.

I'll ask my other questions when i have more time. Thanks again.

For the traders amongst us... It looks as if the receiver of Cryptsy is liquidating the asset. Aurora got a Crytsy wallet dumped the day before yesterday and Bittrex confirmed it to be a legal entity. After that I noticed several coins suffering high losses. So you can put some large orders at rediculous low prices and maybe they are executed.

This is the list of coins, Monero is not on the list but maybe there are some others that you hold.

Besides this I highly doubt the legal grounds of this liquidation... these funds were not Crytsy's

Bittrex didn't verify the wallet was crypty's? It is a shame, people got dumped by scammer paul vernon in 2016.

Bittrex did stop trading in the case of Aurora, but later stated that the the identity of the trader was confirmed. So if it had been Paul Vernon Bittrex never allowed trading.

Thanks for the information a huge amount of very cheap IXC just came onto the market - this could very well explain why.

Good to hear that Bittrex are keeping an eye out for BigVern, I've been seeing his name on quite a few threads recently =)

Yes, you should download / resync the chain. It's a lot faster now, but will still take quite a while if not on an ssd drive.  Thanks.
