I dont understand why woudl want to delay with having first mover advantage.  I am sure profit is not such that they will broke her leg implementing it. But they will for sure try to do it as fast as they can. Technology is different then of Bitcoin or ETH so they spend more time with it.  Lets hope there will be soon soem announcement.

Just think of your question a bit. How many people worked on Monero and how many people worked on other cryptonote coins.  Yes since Monero is opensource, caching up for other coins can be much faster. But those coins still need at least few dedicated contributors to do it.

• 0MQ - As a nice and robust base for future infrastructure
• I2P integration (and a brand new I2p router side project named Kovri)
• Multisig, multisig

a very important part of every crypto is adoption, and a big third party wallet like jaxx can bring visibility. you need to understand that not every user is an IT enginneer and/or a bitcointalk member, there are a few investors that doesnt know nothing about technology but they want a piece of the pie. These people will only use cryptos accepted by an "easy to use" wallet.
