Cubevtc, I haven't received any MON for the last 3 hours in http://vtc.cubeconnex.com:9171/static/. Could you check if there is anything wrong? This is my MON address MECSrqFYYqtvHK9QJmMYcjY1Q3Yim7R5HE. VTC is normal.

I will check and get back to you.

EDIT: The pool is having some 'unlucky rounds' for MON currently (as described in CPPSRB).  Please note that the new proxypool uses CPPSRB while the traditional p2pool usess PPLNS.  Our pool is accumulating MONs for the next payout.
6 hours and still no MON

We have very good 'lucky rounds' earlier on. Lots of MON were coming in.  Unfortunately we have entered into the 'unlucky rounds'.  I hope the dry spell will be over soon. Do read up CPPSRB on http://eligius.st/~gateway/faq/capped-pps-recent-backpay in the mean time, if you have not. It does help to alleviate our unease.

EDIT: Dry spell is over! Just checked. We have MONs coming in..  but they are immature.  Our kitty is filling up.
another 12 hours and nothing. So, where is MONs?

MONs are coming into the pool but there was a problem with the payout.  The payout problem is fixed and it is clearing the backlog in batches.  You should have received the first few batches of MONs by now.  Thanks for your kind patience and sorry for the long wait.

I just noticed all the pools listed in OP end in  9555. My local p2pool is on 9174. Is my set up wrong?

After the merge mining you can still see web front end at port 9174. For merged mining stats take a look at  https://github.com/Cooba13/proxypool-simplestats

Simple Vert is paying out a 10% bonus on MON blocks! This might be permanent

Yesterday we added merged mining for everyone, it has been rock solid so far, and we've added basic stats so you can see how much MON you are mining (Example).

Since some miners have not set a MON payout address, we're left holding some leftover MON. We're sending a bunch of that MON back to you! With a 10% bonus, you get 110% of the MON you mine.

Depending on how many miners set their MON address, we may be able to run the 10% bonus continuously. For now we are doing it as a trial, and may adjust the % up or down.

Thanks, working fine for me.
Is only port 9555 mining mon ? Normal VTC port is not mining mon ?

All ports are merged mining. Make sure to set your MON address from your user stats

If all ports are doing merged mining we should have the same nethash on MON as on the VTC Network ?
Most of the VTC miners have not set a MON adress yet. Where are all these coins going through ?

Yup, we're running ~420mhash on VTC and MON network. Most of our miners have set a VTC address, and since there is some leftover we're giving +10% to those who have setup the address

Just an update on my HashHarder experience - I have received everything owed (both VTC and MON) - a significant chunk of it came in via large payments earlier today after an extended gap in payouts. Rigs I put in there less than 8 hours ago have already paid out multiple MON and VTC payments throughout the day. I have 7 different rigs there and they are all having good results. Those of you receiving nothing - have you checked to make sure your shares are even being submitted on your miner? Nothing else would really make sense.

I also want to confirm that my experience on HashHarder was a good one. As far as I can tell, I got everything I should have. Sorry to the people who believe they didn't Sad

I'm now mining on SimpleVert, the 2 main reasons are first that their website shows better stats for combined MON and VRT on a single page, second is that the default adjustable donation rate is 1% instead of the 2% fee of HashHarder.

I've also been getting regular payments from Hashharder, but now their payment system seems to have locked up again, on both VTC and MON this time around. All my scheduled payments are currently stuck in "In Batch".

I also got a reply from ozie about my time spent mining on his pool, stratum+tcp://mon.qemulab.com:9555. Like everyone else he's had problems with the payout script, and he thinks small miners might not have gotten their fair share of the rewards in the beginning. Since he's running on the 1st network I probably shouldn't have mined on there anyway. He graciously sent me 1 MON as compensation, so thanks to him for that.

Couldn't agree more. I wish there was a rule that all new coins could not be listed on exchanges for 6+ months. To many people jump on fad coins for no reason. You should be mining for the long term

How much MON have you mined? I have only 10...but I belive  that merged mining will be the future and MON is the first one. Also it has nice steady grow which is very promising.

Mining means running costs. Gotta cover them somehow. 6 months without an exchange and you'd have nobody mining except a few fanatics. PoW is a b*tch isn't it?

No, PoW isn't the problem. People's greed on the other hand is the problem. They see a price of 1500 satoshis per *putnamehere*coin on any exchange, and they'll kill each other to sell first, this makes every coin unstable and eventually ruins it. Such people have ruined 85% of the coins out there, because they do not care about the coin and the idea that stands behind it, its community, and the work that has gone into it by its developers. And what bugs me the most is that they come up with the excuse "I have to cover running costs". Well, guess what. Cryptocurrency has never been created to make a living only out of it. Get a job and cover your expenses by it, and keep your coins long term. Leave aside the guys who got lucky with their Bitcoins. This will never happen again. If you want to have some bits left for you after you pay the electricity bill, fine. But leave the bigger part of us, who want whole chunks, alone. I.e. let the coin to mature, then add it on the exchanges. So what Silence wanted to say is, if you add the coin now on the exchanges, it will go sky high on the top 10 coins to mine list, people will jump in, diff will jump like a kangaroo on steroids, and you'll get nothing. So keep low profile and mine.

No hard feelings. Smiley
