There's also programs for cpu mining "minerd.exe" where can I get that? I found mine by doing a Google search. Remember to always scan the file to make sure it's safe. Where can I find more information on the airdrop? I live in California...
The airdrop will happen when there is enough interest in the coin. People will be able to go to our website and the system will verify that they live in California through their IP address then the appropriate amount of CaliforniaCoins (which will be voted on, by the community) will be distributed instantly to the user. Right now our goal as a community should be to bring more people into our community & market as much as we can. College's, local businesses, we still do not have a merchant that is accepting CaliforniaCoins for a good/service. What makes a coin valuable is if people and merchants use it. CaliforniaCoin has a lot of potential and it will be a big coin remember this is under a week old and I'm very happy to say that there is over 760+ replies 5K views to this thread. We are doing good work and slowly but surely this coin is heading in the right direction.

This is a problem with a high retarget time of 168h. The net hashrate at some point went up 40MH/s setting a Diff of 1.97871377. Its at 8MH/s and at the same Diff. If the hashrate keeps getting lower, at some point there will be a superblock that will take forever to solve. More hashrate is needed.
You couldn't be more right about this. The fact is t-minus and I have been working on this hard. We are not coders but we think we've found out how to solve the problem and attempting to edit the code with the math calculations needed. One of our main concerns is if we edit the code, how do we test it and we are not sure if the wallet would have to be recompiled and downloaded again. We could use someone with knowledge in this field. We have the means to pay for your services. The team is dedicated to fixing the problem. As far as you Mr. minermoon. You have been invaluable to the support of this project and we thank you. It's members like you that are going to make this coin go far, and by members, I mean ALL of you. We are going to continue to work on these problems as well as add new functions in the future. We have more experienced people showing up on the dev team. We are not alone and our ranks are growing! Thank you for your support.

Was fast for me, did you add the additional nodes?

Super slow sync of the wallet.
Try this for a fix, remove the original node and leave the others. (check Original post @ bottom for additional nodes) That worked great for me and was originally recommened by t-minus as a fix a few page's back.

Would be cool if we had a casino/gambling game to play oh and some merchants , very important we get some merchants on board people. BTC was only worth so much $ because people can buy stuff with it.
