Time for the penalty kicks
This is just like Chile and Brazil all over again this is a close round in the top 16
Looking forward to this finale.

Edit In: Hurt goalie for Costa Rica vs no coach for Greece to decide the order up to the captain on this one or subcoach.

So fitting, Gekas the 34 year old who isn't going to see another Euro or Fifa cup ends his team's run.

Gutted for Greece - they are true warriors, far too stubborn to simply leave the competition without a fight.

Costa Rica did well, I can't get my head around how they managed with 10 men for so long, then come up with penalties like that. Absolute masterclass in penalty taking.

Their energy levels are insane. Against Italy even after 80th minute they were pressing and closing down hard.

I'm Greek and I have to say that our goalkeeper seemed really distracted. Costa Rica's goalkeeper on the other hand is amazing, he is like a real life spiderman!

It's always disappointing for a team to go out on penalties - but I think that you have to feel for Mexico who were on the verge of winning, only to lose in the dying moments of the game. What a World Cup this has been so far - so much drama, lots of goals and some pretty tense games!

Greece lost a game that deserve to win. Costa rica was mediocre in game. Greece has very good opportunities to score and a great defence. But that is football...

More like Costa Rica had a chance to close it out in the final few minutes but couldnt hang on and finished in penalities.

Even with 10 men Greece couldn't score until last minute deflection. They definitely didnt deserve to win

The Brazil game was sick! The vibe in comparison to the Costa Rica game (which had similar endings with shootouts) was incomparable. There was so much more drama in the Brazil game

Plus Costa Rica alone converted as many penalties as Brazil + Chile in the penalties stages. The Brazil vs Chile game was too violent and wit too much fouls and lesions simulations, that's horrible to watch.

At least one guy died of heart attack during Brazil vs Chile game. This is really a issue for some people, old or with hearth problems

LOL. At least tommorow's matches should be easy to call. France over Nigeria, Germany over Algeria. I don't think there's much room for surprises here.
