Quote from: davien on Today at 09:53:58 AM it is going to be very interesting to see how Germany and France will handle the pressure.... anyway if i am right in the next round will be France-Germany? of course if they beat Algeria and Nigeria...
A surprise is possible from Nigeria that has a good attack but France will probably win; the question is who will win France-Germany? Surprise can happen but this is WC Holland pass on fake penalty but this was yet another point of how referees done lazy job Lol there was no fake penalty, they clearly stepped on his foot, and you can't stop the player this way.

This is a classic oscar winning fake penalty. Roben is good player, but also a better actor. He deserved red card on that game (beafore penalty situation)

Brazil have looked a bit sketchy, not the amazing Brazil of old.
However, cant rule out the value of home advantage.
Every game is a sea of Yellow crowds, who ever is playing.

He should've been awarded two penalties before that. It definitely was a penalty whether he exaggerated or not. Brazil have looked a bit sketchy, not the amazing Brazil of old.

None of the big teams have been extraordinary. Al have had a few duff games. I think Brazil will have a tough game against Columbia and then Germany if they get through.

The match of Chile was kind of fun, more actors than playing football, is good to see that Colombian won all matches and Netherlands with a great team.

Neymar was injured because the knee Chile dealt from behind(and that the referee didn't gave him a yellow card). Without him Brazil is much like Argentina without Messi. The 2nd time they played pretty bad, but after that Chile was tired and Brazil took advantage, problem is that Chile was trying to get time to get to the penalties.

Algeria have beaten (West) Germany before, and while this is a different era the expectation from the Germans is the same.
In fact, Germany has lost all games against Algeria in the entire history.

I think Germany will beat Algeria, based on their experience and routine, and also quality. Algeria is very good team but I think they achieved maximum in this World cup.

I think Germany will comfortably beat Algeria. Quote from: davien on Today at 09:53:58 AM it is going to be very interesting to see how Germany and France will handle the pressure.... anyway if i am right in the next round will be France-Germany? of course if they beat Algeria and Nigeria...

From before the start of the tournament I've had a couple of bets on either Brazil and Argentina to get into the final or win, but I think Brazil will struggle with Columbia and Germany in the next round, but they have the home advantage. Argentina will probably have it the easiest to go all the way and beat Holland in the semis if they get through.

I'm interested to see how France do, they've had a great start to the tournament to the surprise of many - myself included.
The South American teams have really taken advantage of the climate, I think that the time of day for the game definitely has a bearing on the overall quality for both teams, particular the European teams.

Today: Nigeria may be a surprise to France, they almost got a draw with Argentina. Algeria won't pass by the germans And that's it. One more game to the semis God the referee on Brasil x Chile was ridiculous. Chile was a crying baby, asking everytime their players fell to the ground, and even faking faults, like Hulks's hand play and Daniel Alves fault.
They've seen that this worked with that referee then did it to exhaustion. Brazil was not better in this sense

all European teams that are in competition has a visible accumulated fatigue , so i think Algeria can make a surprise....who knows but theoretically Germany-France will be in the quarter final
France has been playing well and has delivered on most matchs; they should beat nigeria but it is not going to be easy by any means; it will tougher against germany Algeria have beaten (West) Germany before, and while this is a different era the expectation from the Germans is the same.
In fact, Germany has lost all games against Algeria in the entire history. Let's bet it all on ARGENTINA!

Argentina is the only powerhouse I think can lose.
If I was to go all in, I'd throw it on Germany

It was right on him though Nigeria is playing well; they were @ 8 to win which was juicy when you see they are playing as well as the French at the moment
