I have downloaded the new wallet and just opening the file it started syncing and all seems fine and all coins there. Deleted the old wallet (back up still off line in case) and need to know if there is anything else I need to do. Do I need to use the code: asiacoin-qt-rescan?

Do they have to be placed on sell orders ... to get the credit? What about those that are just sitting there?

Im not sure what ur saying..im not a coder or have no knowledge of these things. Some other guy may be able to help u tho

I think the rescan is just to check if anything missing, so if you think everything goes well, then you may just ignore it.
My address book has some problem before, and after rescan, it is fixed.

Quick question about POS.  I upgraded my wallet yesterday morning and haven't received a stake yet.  The majority of my coins, about 70k, have been in my wallet since April 17/18.

Is anyone else receiving a stake? or should I just be more patient?

Can you guys put a "Asiacoin Official Dev" in your signatures so we know who guys are as this coin revs up again?  I have a feeling this thread is going to get some heavy traffic soon.

The risk of a fake is always possible. Maestro1 will maintain the team list on the 2nd post. Technically, not all of us are in the development team. I am only handling the website and part of the marketing team.

Is your wallet unlocked? If it is encrypted, it has to be unlocked in order to stake. The default post-installation state should be unlocked and unencrypted.

Most users are actually on Windows given that Mac users are in the minority. Given the turnaround time we took to come up with a patched Windows wallet, I think this is probably the best we can do. I personally used the Mac wallet but switched my wallet to the new Windows v2.0 wallet.

Crypsty has the v2.0 wallet but they are still reviewing it. For now, only Bter.com amongst the big exchanges has an active trading pair for AC.

Mac wallet is important. I dont want to go to windows again. Even if I did every new transfer needs 24 hours until it will stake again. And for bachktransfer another 24 hours. No-go.

Hope this issue is solved soon.
