few currencies now in spotlight these coins are drying altcoin markets from finances and sucking all money

all coins which have increases of value of thousands of % have one  single thing in common : they promise anonymity

all coins which promise anonymity are winners all other coins are losers even litecoin and dogecoin

maybe is high time for our community to manage somehow to work on anonymity

somehow to discuss with existing dev's or if they cannot work look for other dev's

micryon said he would think of zerocoin now this software is exposed as probably having serious flaw
there supposedly exist a master key whoever has can do anything with zerocoin coin

maybe we should look into anonymous coin mixer ( what promises xc coin ) that should be relatively easier than zerocoin ?

lot of talk there about these hyped coins these coins as for now cannot deliver the promise of anonymity

Now we're down to 5th place on coinpayments!

Is it too much to ask to send a vote?!?  It would benefit all of us and it's really a ridiculous amount of btc to vote.

Let's win this, VOTE VOTE VOTE !!!

 I did.

How do you see the standings?

We need more vote on https://www.coinpayments.net/
They will put top 4 coins into their merchant chain as a payment form.

Unlike those exchange sites vote, this only allows 1 vote for each ip address.
All it takes is 0.0011BTC, and a few mins of your time to do it.
Current vote status: https://www.coinpayments.net/vote-thanks

Step 1: Go to https://www.coinpayments.net/vote
Step 2: Select AsiaCoin
Step 3: Click on the bottom "Submit Vote - 0.001BTC"
Step 4: Type in your email address and your name, and choose the coin you want to use to vote (0.001BTC or 0.0427190LTC or 991Doge)
Step 5: Click "Complete Donation"
Step 6: Send 0.0011BTC(0.0001 is transaction fee) to whatever the address they give you for your vote.
Step 7: Wait about 20 mins, and check your email to confirm your vote, and DONE

Step 7 is crucial. If you don't confirm it, it won't count.

So basically a big bribe site,  no thanks.   I'm sure there are other merchant payment sites.

It all goes to charity and they are one of the largest.
Yes its charity that's why I'm glad I voted.
Anyways does anybody know when voting is gonna end?.I hope its soon.

Yesterday it was going as usual, people were trading all day, and a moment later, it just stopped. Hours go on without a single trade, and the price is going down. And not only AsiaCoin, the same happened with a lot of smaller coins in the past hours. Did something happen that I don't know of?

Only what i can think is the price of Bitcoin is high now... But about 2 hours we have a total volume of 1.4BTC.. that to low to get new people in AC..
I see the hole day some sell 100AC en buy 50AC or something like that...

We really need some good news now.

That was my first thought too. But then I checked, and it's still around 625$, not much change in the past days. I only trade on MintPal, is the same thing happening on other exchanges?

I trade also only on mintpall... When i see the volume off 1 week... yesterday and this dat are de lowest. Normally i check everty 15 minutes what the price is... But now i can check every 4 hours... and the price is the same.. Maby is that not bad but we need new investors

Edit: someone is selling 500k now... WHY?Huh

Yeah, I see. I think he got annoyed or scared by this sudden stop and is trying to get out of it. Not good... I was thinking about it , too, but decided to wait some days and see what happens. Maybe it will be back to normal in a few hours. Grin

All,

I've seen lot's of support for AC through this forum and I'd like to help out.

I'm have a decent amount of AC, which I've seen drop in value massively, so this is a long game for me.

What can I do to help?

I have 25 years in IT (Windows-based support in a wide variety of technologies)
I have colo'd servers available on 100MBit should they be needed. Need a VM spinning up?
and....2x 250MH Vipers on the way too. :-D

erm... Not sure what else..

Please PM me if I can help..

I moved all my AC from my polo account to the above AC paper wallet when AC was being de-listed.  Now, I have the paper with the secret key but i have no idea how to send them back to POLO so I can use them.  There is no import key in the new wallet and no android wallet....  Anyone out there that knows WTF to do please advise!  Huh

Actually, the development team are constantly evaluating the possibility of anonymity features. However, existing implementation were flawed. I am sure micryon or maestro1 can go into details. That said, I would say anonymity as a feature is not something that is well sought after evaluation and the amount of time and effort can be better spent on other features or implementation.

The same can actually be said of every coin in the Altcoins Announcement section. "Why should I buy [insert-coin-name]?" It is a question best answered by everyone who is trading crypto-currencies. Perhaps you can talk about what kind of answers you are looking for.
