Now this coin is overvalued at current difficulties with 1MH / s = 21 000 / d = 21000 x 0.00000093= 0.01953000 BTC

Hi Everybody,
Sorry for the problems we experienced today, there were two issues occurring at the same time and it was difficult to deconstruct but we've figured it out.
The two separate problems are as follows, you may experienced 1, 2 or both in some cases.
Problem 1: If you are running the windows wallet on windows 7 and are experiencing crashes, then your issue will be addressed in an update to the wallet software coming later tonight. Your wallet is ok, we have a forward compatibility issue because the wallet was compiled using Windows 8 and that creates some library conflicts with windows 7 computers. You don't have to do anything but update to the new wallet later tonight.
Problem 2: If you received a wallet.dat error on the left corner of your wallet window, then you had problem 2. Good news is there is a simple fix. This is a result of the forking which is less likely to occur tomorrow because we at least 3 pools at the moment, making it much more difficult to hit 51% on any of them. My next post will be a walk through on how to fix Problem 2.
There is also a 3rd problem: Your pool won't let us register on either one..... how are we supposed to mine a supposedly fair coin when only a few lucky ones get to mine on the pool. Pools of Honour.....not so much. The note on there page says registration open....but they lie.....it is not open on pool 1 or pool 2! The other pool has no hashrate which equals no coins........What is fair about this situation? Many that want to mine this coin now can't. What is the status of the pools? How long will the rest of us be locked out of mining? Hi, i am the admin of the two PoH pools. I am sorry for closeing the pools for registrations right now. But we had some problems with night. I tryed to fix it with the Devteam but we weren't able to do it. I have said at that time, that i would have to go to bed soon. But i refused going to bed and stayed awake for more than 2h trying to fix everthing. After we not being able to fix it, i decided together with the Devteam to close registrations for preventing further damage. The PoH will have registrations again open today. Sry for any problems and i didn't want to lock someone out. And guys: Thank you very much for spreading the hash =)=)

Good job, thankx for your support. I think you have contributed a lot in this coin, besides the developer.

New wallet is up on all links and you can download it here, not mandatory but highly recommended: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9j2rF3pLtDvTmpuX09lWmhJTEU/edit?usp=sharingFeatures of this update -included vericoin.conf and bootstrap.dat file to put in C\Users\username\AppData\VeriCoin (show hidden files to see AppData) -Added checkpoints for the correct block from the fork yesterday -Adds Staking checkpoints and fixes a lingering staking bug we had -Extra Windows 7 Compatibility for the crashes some were experiencing -Easier to compile on your own for Windows and Linux if you so desire This update combined with more than 2 pools we think will greatly stabilize the network. Special thanks to testbug for all his assistance helping people in the thread and being a great and active pool OP, in addition to creating 2 pools and working on a third. After installing this update if you still have some issues it might be that your wallet.dat file needs to be refreshed with a new database so follow these instructions which deal directly with the other issue we had that was caused by the fork. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602041.msg6680285#msg6680285Thanks everyone for their patience and faith in this coin, we have what it takes. Onward and upward!

We will be in contact with them soon, after they update their wallets all should be well. Also we are going to start a community project focused solely on getting on the best exchanges.

https://agx.io/ wouldn't be a bad place to start that's where Naut started, before they had that security compromise I was really loving how fast the functional the exchange was. Honestly it was one of my favorite if not my favorite I've used

hi guys,
i am @ work but i jsut checked all 3 pools: we have different blocks.
Pool one, the "188." pool is in maintenance mode now. I also dissabled the wallet for preventing further damage or blocks getting orphaned later.
I suggest switching to another coin right now, as long as we dont lose all nodes. I think the devs supernode is protected and should det all blocks right.
Pool 2 (107.) is still running.
If i should shutdown that pool also, please tell me.
Wallets and all user balance are safe, dont worry !!!
I think we just must update / recompile all the walets this evening and it will be fine.

Hey guys, we forked but only a few minutes ago so it shouldn't be a big problem. I'm rebuilding the wallets with a new checkpoint. The pools will upgrade and everything will be ok. You will probably have to clear your %appdata%/vericoin folder besides the wallet and conf but after that things should work. The two Pools of Honor pools are down now and will be for a few hours. testbug is working on it. Your coins are safe, but there's no point if you mining to the wrong blockchain. When they are back up everything will be peachy. The vrc.pool.enterprises pool is up and running right now. That's the domain, http://vrc.pool.enterprises so don't worry about not having a .com at the end. We are now about 1/4 of the way through PoW. Let's keep full steam ahead. If you are not on a block after 5460, please update your client so you are on the right fork. If you need help with your wallet, I, or someone else will help you on our IRC channel: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=%23vericoin&uio=d4#If I'm not answering, send me a PM.

Regarding C-Cex, they were forked for a little bit but are back on the correct blockchain now.
