sub 8000 and 6 btcsupport down to 1 satoshi, unfortunate indeed.

For those who have not heard of the new ProofOfStake platform being launched you should check out the GAIA Platform.

The first platform to run through deamon as opposed to QT. it enables websites to be created with the "GAIA" as the default currency of trade in the platform. It just finished ICO and if its a successful launch with no BS, it could quick be a contender for many new 2.0 and 3.0 applications.

The total coin supply is ICO only, no extra premine, ect. If its a successful launch that one could really get some attention in the days ahead, with many real potential innovations to the 2.0 landscape. The ICO showed reasonable demand with the devs not "pumping" , but taking the approach of under promise and over deliver. Certainly one to keep an eye on.

 hey let us all ignore the veri real and veri serious discussion on the issue of regulation and the potential of vericoins only feature worth any value, Veribit, being shutdown and the devs being sent cease and desist orders plus possibly heavy fines and worse due to it operating as a unlicensed EMT in violation of the PA/BSA/AMLs/KYC guidelines to point out spelling errors...

thats quite a few things to be worried about and that is not even bringing the SEC into the picture...

so pat yourself on the back for pointing out someone made a spelling error and for having your "fun with the trolls" as you called it...

edit: for those that do not know...

PA=Patriot Act
BSA=Bank Secrecy Act
AML=Anti Money Laundering Laws
KYC=Know Your Customer guidelines

oh and I can also veri much assure you I am not a puppet as you have declared I must be... ereborltc.

There is nothing Federal about the IRS, in fact if they cannot prove you are holding coins, or prove that you accidentally did not delete your coins well you can throw that case out the window.

Until it is deemed a currency it will never have legal status. no matter how similar the product might be in effect to illegal narcotics, you cannot be convicted for possession or distribution.

These regulations will only scare the people in New York, not all states will comply. Not all people will comply. It will cost more money in taxes then the amount they BTC in NYC alone. They are attempting to regulate because they have a source point to regulate which is the exchanges. Once it is all decentralized they will have absolutely nothing to regulate. Good Luck trying to regulate, something like bit-torrent. I know I will never comply.

A free society is built by you and me, beginning in our own lives. The digital age has given us better tools for doing this than we've ever had before. Become a citizen of the real free world and feel the difference it can make.

For people who want to stay informed and not following idiotic, irresponsible nonsense like the one this individual just posted: Here, from the horse's (Federal) mouth: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-drop/n-14-21.pdf

Edit to add:

So we are as clear of ignorance as we possibly can, the IRS, which is a Federal organization enforced by the FBI, can and do do this too: http://cointelegraph.com/news/112814/irs-seizes-assets-on-suspicion-only-bitcoin-could-be-next

We don't need a Vericoin babysitter, a guardian.

You seem to think we all avoid paying taxes?.
Regulation is coming great it badly needs it, and it needs consequences for the likes of Ryan Gentle Karpples etc maybe a predetermined sentence will stop people from robbing us?.  Like they have in place for crimes involving fiat.  Duh do you read news hows all that fiat regulation been going on, never ending quagmire of financial crimes 24/7 365 offshore or hoarded. does regulation put a stop to that ?.

Make it impossible for people in a country to do stuff with bitcoin, they will adapt move holdings etc plenty ways around this stuff legally. your argument about alternative coins is moot to, how many different types of fiat are there?.
Bitcoin might be big and might be used alot but it started with nothing, now we got paypal accepting not only bitcoin but doge litecoin as a buisness if they dont react to change they will suffer and any other alt is good anyway as it can be traded for btc and cashed out.

We heard it all berfore BarbArse.

But thanks for looking out for us its amusing.

I'm Batman.

And here's The Joker: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/sec-sends-inquiry-letters-hundreds-bitcoin-companies-unregistered-securities/

Have you received one, Dave?

And since you seem to miss him, he has a project almost ready to launch, it seems, that quite frankly look very, very interesting... Here's what he says it offers... Looks to me leaps and bounds above what anyone has even come close to in alts... Sadly, I have no involvement at all.:

http://coinblab.com/forums/topic/19/the-future-of-crypto-teaser/view/post_id/47

Oh and he just posted this on twitter: "IconicExpert ‏@IconicExpert  8m8 minutes ago
Last night I finally shared the details of my project with one of the most well known pioneers in crypto, his response was "game changer".

He's also launching without a presence in Bitcoin Talk... to "avoid FUD", he says.

Personally I don't believe you can avoid FUD (and controversy) if you are IE, but I believe both can be positive, very positive, in fact, if his project delivers. But he knows better... doesn't everybody in crypto?

No wonder this coin is at 7.9k when a complete retard like yourself is the prominent voice of the community.

Last night, I was talking with a friend that I haven't talked to in a while. He has maybe 10K VRC and checked on it yesterday for the first time since the price was in the 20K+ range. He checked the BCT Thread and then sent me a message. We chatted for a bit before the subject of you came up. His immediate question was, "Why does that guy even post in that thread anymore?"

This is a question that has been put out there multiple times, but I don't believe that it's ever been answered. It usually just disregarded with some derogatory remark such as "That's a typical fanboy question". My friend's certainly not a fanboy; he rarely even reads the forums and checks on VRC maybe once every two months, yet he still thought it was a legitimate question.

I jokingly suggested that he post the question himself, to which he responded, "Yea, right! And have that guy attack me? No f'ing thank you."   That's the vibe that you give off.

All I can really do is speculate, but I attempted to answer the question myself. This is what I told him (feel free to make corrections):

"AltcoinUK was very supportive of the coin and the developers a few months ago, so much so that he probably fit the current definition of a 'cheerleader'. As time went on, he became unhappy with the rate at which features were being implemented as well as the direction that the devs were going with some of the planned features (like the Coinsis Card). The price decline has just added fuel to the fire since he views it as a direct result of feature stagnation and the coin not going in a direction that he wants. Now he believes that, in desperation, the developers have given up control of VeriCoin to James, the SuperNET guy, and are allowing him to dictate the future direction of the coin. He seems to believe that if he berates the developers enough and makes the same points over and over again, he can convince them to get back on a development track that he believes will be more productive for the coin."

My friend's response to that was to quote Albert Einstein, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Another Supernet. I guess imitation is the most effective form of flattery? : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.0

They also are going after decentralized cloud storage and the other stuff James' is going after. Launching today... not exactly great timing maybe... but it looked like great timing for Supernet and it has lost 2/3 of it's value in a month, so you never know. Except those who do, you know, know it all...
