Yes Ow nice. I lose about 350 coins until now??!!! What a joke this coin. Not a single working exchange, and all my investement after block 16000 gets lost? I'm on the right fork, so why should i lose all my coins then? This sounds like a great plan from 2 forum members to get rich, and make others lose there money...

Don't be selfish, it was agreed upon that we will relaunch the coin at block 16000. There is about 5k coins lost in my pool due to this.

It was agreed by those 2 forum members, the only two on this planet that can benefit from this. Where is the official announcement from the dev about this?

Come on I think primer- has even wasted more of his hashrate than yours on this coin. Don't be angry about merely 350 SLMs. I have even lost more than you.

Primer- made 13 BTC after launch, i INVESTED 10 BTC in this coin, that's the difference. It's not up to two individuals to deceide if i continue to mine this coin or not. Period.

Ok one question for you bitspender, how much do you think your SLM will worth if the investors know that after block 16000 only few people are instamining this coin?

It was agreed by those 2 forum members, the only two on this planet that can benefit from this. Where is the official announcement from the dev about this? I have no idea if it was just 2 forum members, there aren't many others posting on this forum.. but the network was crumbled and only the pool was finding blocks. slimcoin dev asked if more agreed to it, noone else gave feedback. see post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=613213.msg7325049#msg7325049The problem is that there are only a handfull of people active in this thread, primer being one of them, but he should be a bit less negative I don't mind that much if it goes to block 16100 or 16200 because i kept 1 miner to the pool, because it was 32 bit anyway and else it wouldn't do much.. Block 16000 is just more fair to others, it will cost me around 300 SLIM as well.

Block 16000 is just more fair to others, it will cost me around 300 SLIM as well. I wasn't very active here but I also agreed to stop at 16000 though I let my miners running on the pool and I'm also loosing 200-300, and I'm not mad at anyone. Even primer was less negative than it used to be . The idea of this coin is a good one, the implementation wasn't so good and it was clear from the beginning. So anybody investing in this coin should know that it's a risky one. More important now is to fix the wallet and "relaunch" or continue with the same blockchain. The developer probably doesn't have enough time to fix it. I'm also a developer and if I would have the time probably I would be able to rebuild the wallet form a stable codebase. Anyway I'm checking the options in the little free time I have.

I suspect that could be more time-consuming than you might anticipate. The codebase seems to be a demonspawn of peercoin-cum-primecoin and dogecoin. It doesn't help that the code's been reformatted by an IDE to add vast amounts of gratuitous syntactic litter to the diff. atm, I'm using meld on ubuntu trusty, seems to filter out the worst of the clutter. 2014 Dogecoin: https://github.com/slimcoin/slimcoin/blob/master/src/bitcoinrpc.h#L3 2013 Peercoin: https://github.com/slimcoin/slimcoin/blob/master/src/kernel.cpp#L1Cheers, Graham

Cmon slimcoin dev let's make this happen!
There are so many people that want to help this coin grow along with multiple other devs that have offered help to fix wallet, take it!
I can't help with the wallet / coding but I can help with PR, once everything works as intended I can advertise the fuck out of this coin!

I have setup a new Monero pool. This pool is intented to all who rented CPU power and is unable to mine SLM for the moment. Point your hashrate to the pool, and hopefully, with a small amount of miners, we get big payouts This pool will be terminated once SLM pool is back up! http://185.21.190.173/#getting_started
