Just waiting for some news from the developer. A new, faster and "lighter" wallet would be great! That might make the price go up...
True in a way for new, faster and lighter wallet! And maybe lower the POS reward structure to 1 or 2 years instead of 5 years, to reduce inflation with this coin.
Nope, there is no need to, changing anything would destroy its core and purpose. Accept it as it is or leave it. Patience is the mother of all virtues. Anyway, happy birthday HYPER, two years on the scene..

Wow - can't believe it's been two years. Congrats to the team and the community!
Completely agree w/ TeamDisaster, we need more folks involved on the core team to keep promoting HYPER. The @hypercrypto Twitter account has done a lot of retweeting but hasn't had a regular post in several weeks. JT was doing awesome work with videos and interviews, but I know life and family is the #1 priority.
Anyone know when HYPERfuture will be returning?
Lightweight wallet is also a great idea.

Anyone know when HYPERfuture will be returning?
Unfortunately this is always the great unknown! However, I do have a sneaky suspicion that when he does return, he will return with big news about Crypto Galaxy - maybe I'm just being optimistic, but I can't shake the feeling this is the main driver behind his long absence this time, working on the game and getting something big ready to announce...

Edit: I think he will be back soon. He will probably have news about some projects that were being worked on. I know one of them is ready to launch

Earn HYPER by playing Dragon Knights of Valeria. DKV is an online text-based RPG with over 1600 registered players and is sponsored in part by HYPER.

I heard personal issues. But don't know what. He should be back soon though.

Folks I think it might be time to start coming up with a contingency plan if (and I'm only saying if, not saying I think this is the case or even is likely, but it's a possibility) HyperFuture isn't able to come back for some reason.
I know there's a team of sorts already which is great, but I wonder if anyone else has Commit access on the GitHub? Does anyone else have access to update the official website?
If not... how important actually is that? From what I've seen there are coins the dev has given up on that have continued to thrive despite the lack of any genuine software updates, because the community has continued to support it. That's more what I see happening with HYPER but it would be good to know exactly what the situation is.
For the record - I do think HF will come back, and I certainly hope he will. However from my involvement with indie games over the past few years (although I realise there are differences to the crypto world - there are similarities), I've seen many projects that look fantastic crash and burn because the dev team break up, or because the marketing wasn't up to the quality of the game itself. Or simply because it was the wrong game released at the wrong time.
I think there's a pretty solid infrastructure built around HYPER now with the game servers, DVK and Snake, and what appears to be reasonably consistent trading volume. Others will be able to look at the situation a lot more objectively than I can; I'm no expert on any level regarding crypto, and only got into it at all because HYPER sponsored one of the games that I'm developing - but I think the skill set owned by the members here that I can see are invested in keeping HYPER running are enough to take things forward. We can't always fall back on "going nowhere" when HF isn't around - real-life issues can easily get in the way, any dev knows that, any realistic person knows that.
Sorry about this whole stream of consciousness thing, I just wanted to get it off my chest and see what others thought.

Just wondering how many of you Hyper holders are also holding GBT?
Took a chance and got some GBT, let's see where this project goes. Its not looking to great right now. But I have faith that things will start to look up again soon.

Totally agree. There is a great community here, but having a consistent team in place is critical. Not sure where HYPERfuture is and I don't know what he has going on his life, but if this coin is going to continue, we need a TEAM, not one person as evangelists, marketers and developers with commit access. We got our crypto on Jon Fitch when he won the World Series of Fighting, but after that, things kinda died off. Folks I think it might be time to start coming up with a contingency plan if (and I'm only saying if, not saying I think this is the case or even is likely, but it's a possibility) HyperFuture isn't able to come back for some reason.

I think HF will be back. Before HF stopped signing in him and I were working on a unannounced website for HYPER and GP so I doubt he would just leave like this unless it was a emergency. I agree HYPER does have a good infrastructure. I think there needs to be more done in the community. It's nice to have a lead dev to organize everything but the community also needs to help and try get new stores and services for it. If HF doesn't come back soon a few people should team up and take over.
