It looks like HYPER is continue to grow despite setback. I don't have much Bitcoin with me now. However, I am willing to contribute to it, please do tell me how and where can I contribute to it.
Do anyone thinks that we should get a new thread? So that one main senior member of the HYPER community can keep the first post updated? It is kind of hard for me to get the latest HYPER news and community works like this. Should we also get a new website with community forums for easier discussion?

I am now downloading the Hyper QT. The splash screen is still "Importing bootstrap data file" after an hour.
Meanwhile I also brought Hypercrypto.info from Namecheap. If anyone senior member of HYPER is interested, I am willing to push it to their Namecheap account for free - I know is sound cheap because of the 88 cents promotion but ... oh well.

Nice, if anyone takes up the offer to host the domain I can provide them with the files I used to create http://cryptodatabase.net/hyperIt's just an informational website but they can modify it easily to add or remove things if they know what they're doing. As for the wallet, it usually takes me a week to sync from scratch with the bootstrap. |

Yes a new thread is going to have to be done if we are going to push forward with new version of hyper.
Are people trying to syn using the snapshot service kiklo runs.
Does that help speed things up?

Yeah! Only 1.3 million blocks to go! The bootstrap left me off in the middle of 2015.
Hadn't heard of the snapshot service, as I said, been out of the game for too long.
It looks like my pile will max out at 7228 Hyper. I couldn't have minted again between my last minting and my fire.
I wish I could help with things, but I couldn't code my way out of a wet paper bag.

If you start sync from block 0 and the wallet stucks somewhere just close it and open again to go on... it should catch the chain and finish sync.  Maybe it stucks multiple times with the hyper wallet, but it should finish after some days...   Nice support on trex last days!  |

Snapshot is way way faster than bootstrap.

Hey everyone. I've made a simple PHP Bot today that can run through Bitcointalk threads and extract the amount of posts people had made for that specific thread - including the time of first post and last post. However, I can run the script on my own system for free if anyone wishes to crawl a topic. Ah ok thanks, was interested as it would be useful in automating my rewards system for users who post in my DKV thread here. I'll contact the Mooncoin folks and see what I can work out with them. |

My wallet will not sync and its been like this for a few days. I deleted the old wallet after saving the .dat but still after i download the new one from the op it still wont sync up correctly.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi Kiklo. Thank you for making a SnapShot for the HYPER community. I really appreciate that. I've been trying to upload the Bootstrap to my HYPER-QT for sometimes already and the wallet never actually open - I guess that is because my computer (processor) is too old/slow. I think I will stop the HYPER-QT bootstrap and download your SnapShot because it may be faster. |
