Of course the easiest way to get more Hyper is to stake them!
Just get a bunch (they are real cheap right now) in your wallet. Currently paying approx. 60% per year "interest" on your coins!!
Compounded interest adds up to a LOT of coins. But the POS reward won't stay this high forever, so it might be best to get in now.

By any chance ... is there any Brawlhalla players here? If you are wondering who took the clan name "Hyper" ... I am the one (I quickly grab it the day clan features is released lol. sorry ). Do join the clan if you play Brawlhalla. . By the way, Brawlhalla is becoming a popular 2D fighting game. A lot of active twitch streamers and at least one tournaments every week. Any plans to create a tournament with Hyper as prizes?

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Yep, https://www.cashncarry.info/ is back!! Lesson learned (maybe): keep your coins in a REAL wallet! Or you might lose them forever. Maybe keep a little online.

Nope. My wallet is synced fine. Did you shutdown your PC without closing wallet first? When I do that the wallet gets out of sync and I need to delete blockchain and redownload it.

No, that computer hasn't cut off in a long time and runs 24/7 staking multiple coins. Transactions coming in and out work fine and staking works fine as well, just showing blocks are behind but at the same time saying they are up to date. When I first brought the wallet into focus it was roughly 670 blocks behind and slowly going down by 1 as new blocks are discovered. Hard to explain but think of it as future tx's just waiting to be confirmed, thats how it is acting. I don't think I've ever had to resync HYPER fully, if I did I would probably just drop it. Spending 2+ weeks to sync it again wouldn't be worth my time even for the 20k HYPER I have.

Is there any way to pull a private key from a wallet.dat file (unencrypted)? I was using the StakeBox and only took backups of the wallet file when it was already running. Apparently a couple weeks ago the wallet.dat file somehow got corrupted, so all backups and the main are all corrupt and the client can no longer read them. Really not sure what to do from here.

Have you tried using one of the corrupt wallet.dats on a windows install of the HYPER wallet? This method has recovered wallet.dats which were unrecoverable under linux, I have no idea why it worked.

Yeah, was under Windows when I realized the issue, . Then I tried it on Linux again and it wasn't working there, either. I'll try an older version of the client and see if maybe that's it...

Eh, come on, its really not that hard, just dont play safe. Sure, playing that way you might sometimes meet the wall really fast, but eventually and gradually you will train your skill to new levels...
