Thanks, the missing 0.2 BTC is for the new wallet/coin/swap and is already being worked on. So far 0.1 BTC has been made as a down payment with the remaining 0.1 BTC to be sent once it has been successfully tested. We should expect to enter the testing phase of the new software in roughly a week.

The 0.06378703 figure is what remains after the wallet is finished.

What we need to decide now is the specifications for this new coin, so far we have..

Block Time: 120 seconds  (+90 seconds) //This will give us roughly a 6 year window before we run into the same problem we have now
Difficulty Retarget: 10 minutes (same)
Min stake 12 hours (~same)
Max stake 30 days (~same)
5%/month PoS until block 1,576,800 (3 years from first block roughly) (same)
10%/year PoS from block 1,576,801 to block 4,204,800 (5 years after the first phase) (same)
2%/year PoS after block 4,204,800 (same)

Our biggest issue is mainly the block time. The faster the time is the more blocks will be created further bloating the chain increasing resource usage and delayed load times for wallets. Then if you take the resources used for that and combine it with an old wallet.dat it is pretty bad.

Everything else with it is pretty good though I would prefer a much lower stake rate closer to 5% a year.

I like the specs. 120 seconds block time much much better than 30 sec. I remember that I recommended it a very long time ago.

The wallet and software will be tested before it is released, we won't know if it will work until that point.

The HYPER chain does take a while to sync yes, I uploaded a copy of the blockchain that was sent to me onto the Info websites wallet section. Just click Download under Snapshot to download it. Alternatively, the link is below for a direct download of the files via my server.

Once it is downloaded unzip it and move the 2 files and 1 folder into your AppData\Roaming\hyper folder.

I would recommend never storing coins on any exchange, there is a great risk of losing them as history has shown countless times. The safest place for anyone's coins is in a wallet they control.

The servers will provide nodes for the current version and the new version so as long as they stay up the current version will be able to sync.

If all goes according to plan then the servers will be free and all that will be required to keep the swap active is to log into the servers once a week or so.

This would be correct. If someone doesn't help sustain the network then they shouldn't receive any rewards for that period of time.

This is one of the things people like in PoS3 coins where if they don't keep their wallet open they aren't able to claim their stakes.

Some news, the new HYPER wallet/code is going to be tested out today and hopefully it works out as intended.

The new donation has put the HYPER fund to 0.18420303 BTC with 0.08420303 available once the wallet has been paid for in full.

HYPER community was collecting information about current state of HYPER wallet and what we want form HYPER in the future.

For that purpose I assembled some notable and important questions and shaped it into a voting poll that took place from 14th February to 12th March 2017. Voting poll ended at midnight on 12th March 2017.

At the end of voting poll respondents left their comment (their DOGE address) if they wanted to participate in a draw. Total prize pool was capped to 1.000 DOGE, so 100 DOGE to each lucky respondents.

Out from 31 respondents, 25 left their comment, so in total 24 were qualified for a draw. 1 comment came from me, but I don't qualified, obviously. For the purpose of a draw I used randomnamepicker.net. To each comment I added a serial number.
