An update on the HYPER wallet, it has been several days since I last talked with the dev and they are not responding. If they don't respond to me in a couple days I will pay for someone else to do it that won't take this long. It's 3 weeks already, too long.

I have it online 24/7 and wallet shows 6-10 active connectctions. What can I do to improve?

Stop it right now, it will take weeks for full synchronization. The fastest way is to download a bootstrap.

You can download my files as stated above or .... do it as its written bellow....although i don't know to what block is updated this bootstrap....

...or maybe we know..... if this screenshot represents recorded blocks in bootstrap, it is still almost a year behind its current block count...

Now I am at block 3360174 from 3433635 (8 active connections) IP: 188.121.182.200
But since that day, every day I get ~2000 block behind. The wallet is able to download max 50-100 block per day.
If I reload block from bootstrap I will be again at beginning. And start getting behind each day or not?

I have no issues with my wallet here in Europe.
Takes a time to sync every time I open the wallet but eventually, it catches the sync.

My bootstrap is updated up to block 3424658. In that case you would start sync from that block on but since you are not that far away there might be some other issues you are probably facing with. Despite HYPER wallet takes so much of RAM, maybe it would be wise to inspect your RAM usage and see where is your memory being reallocated. Anyway, you wouldnt start for the very beginning.

You can make some tests for sure, but please always backup your complete HYPER folder for that instance (yes, a complete folder, including blockchain, not just wallet.dat).

Are you actively staking the coins as well, or a sort of cold wallet setup? And if the former, are these given (estimated) to users? I'd completely understand if you stake and keep it all, just curious as it does obviously have an impact on the floating amount and inflation.

I have no intention of keeping them for myself or selling them though, but I do have a plan for them. I'm currently working on a new project based off of DKV that is partially completed and whatever balance I have left over from the DKV claims and the coins I'm currently holding for the swap will become the new balance for that game. To my recollection, in my 2 years of being with the coin I haven't sold any HYPER nor do I have any plans on doing so as I am content with just giving it out.

If anyone who I'm holding coins for wants to work something out on a stake percentage or something I'm more than happy to work with them on that.

For my stuff, I'm just working on a few websites someone ordered. 1 is done already and 2 more are left.

I've also been working on a new game at the same time called Valerian Universe. It will be similar in gameplay to DKV but space themed and a different game style. Will also have a sort of BNT feel to it in a way. Coded from scratch and a lot has been done on it so far. It isn't playable yet, I'm currently working on the battle code and then the drone factory stuff but after that it should be ready for alpha testing.

However i would recommend to keep it simple, at least at the beginning and slowly adding new additions step by step, so player can learn by doing it. Because at the bitter end, DKV had become so big, that even old players got confused from time to time (ok, i am talking about me here). I wont even start thinking how new players felt when they started their journey. Too bad you won't be able to use all the graphics and videos you had it prepared for DVK. Damn it.

I don't think I will turn it into what DKV was, I really just want to keep it small and simple but enjoyable. It is really hard to find graphics for space based games, was a lot easier for medieval type games.

I totally agree with you, personally I wouldn't trust either, but many users want several different options to choose from and for smaller amounts this service might come handy. With an emphasis on "MIGHT"!
