these are not "people" this is someone with a big stake that tries to hold down the price.

look at cryptsy for example. the base is really good at 130k there is a 26 BTC order and at 120k there is another 12 BTC order.

i would say - someone just tries to shake out the weak hands. if someone wants to test what happens, please sell 20k XC

I'll leave it be.  I really have no ill will towards the coin.  It's dying - just trying to save the small fry investors a few bucks.

What are you basing your metrics on? A feeling? The talking rock by the river?

The coin price.
The direction the coin price continues to go even with new features.
The number of community members.
The lack of continued adoption.
The total coin volume.

The coin price?  

It hasnt fallen below 100k for 3 months. Matter of fact. Cloak, Keycoin, Boolberry, Razor, Crypt all passed XC in price, and none have recovered.

The direction the coin price continues to go even with new features?

Do you know what a base is? The new features that will get people excited are in REV3. We all know this.

The number of community members?

Darkcoin had a small community before its lift off. I know this because I was there reading everyday in early Feb.

The lack of continued adoption?

Again... its in Beta. Rev3 will bring further adoption.

The total coin volume?

Because 88% of the coins are staking, because nobody wants to sell.

And my last point. Because this is retarded. Thank you for trying to lower the price. I will buy a few thousand more as I always do when the price dips. Thanks.

I think Xcurrency will remain in top 20 with only guldencoin most likely shooting passed it by the end of the year as the Dutch are starting to go fucking mad over it(Adoption rate is faster then any other coin right now), will be interesting to see if this one can ever compete with Darkcoin though.

Just as important as a bounty is a clear technical summary that compares all of the leading anon coins.

Average Joe out there needs a clear conclusion which coin/s provide the best anon technology. Which is "most" anon and so on.

This takes time from someone who knows how all these coins work, perhaps only Dan can do it. But I think it will pay off. Sure it will ruffle some feathers but I think it's necessary.

I honestly think it's a bit large and the community will struggle to raise those funds.

10 BTC is more than adequate. That's several thousand free dollars if someone can crack it - plenty of incentive.

+1 here as well, I think I remember a while back someone trying to start a comparison of Anon coins but it was a disaster of FUD and lack of truthful info.   A "clear conclusion" and comparison is necessary.
