Please get out with BTCD.
Just went through the ANN and it's all written in "Will be". There is no "is". It's all vaporware for now. Pretty much a PnD at this point.
Also the jl777 guy who runs it has issued loads of assets on the NXT asset exchange for projects which "will be" set up by him, but he doesn't seem to bother actually making any of them before moving on to raise money for his next project.

For the first time I've ever seen, Bittrex has more volume than Mintpal in the XC market the past 24h.
Perhaps the times, they are a changin'?
Pretty crazy but hopefully the Moolah takeover will bring some volume back to MP. I think volume will be increasing in the near future as rev 2 finalizes and the incentive to hold XC increases with the private transaction/web 3.0 content fees. If BTC starts rising again we'll see more volume as well. Obviously no one can predict the markets but I'm optimistic.

The gibberish about the only superior technologies in the Universe - BTCD and the SuperUltraToDaMoonMarkets - means "give me your money and fuck off". At least that's my understanding. He mentioned how the companies are begging him to work for them?! His work per hour was $100 (yay, what a great mind (slightly above the average IT salary for senior positions in the EU btw)), so you see - this is some condescending god. Fuck this shit. A huge scam!

On what do you base that? It's a joke . Everyone is so sad about the price After Christmas I'll say to myself: "I like the smell of napalm early in the morning..." That's how I see the crypto market: there are two serious players - DRK and XC. And they are here to stay.

I modded the BIP38 paper wallet generator that Laredo created to find match based on some "vanity starting" parameters and it looped till it found it. It's really a rough hack job with no UI update for now.... I have to break into it to find out how many attempt it was at. My requirement was that it had to be BIP38, but of course... I really didn't have to really do that now since I know how to encrypt an existing private key using BIP38 now.... So, even a normal address creation would have sufficed....

Please give me a link to the paper wallet (I'd like address that starts with "XCurrency" and Node.js should do it in no time, but let's see). You probably also want to apply the change I made so it create compressed address: If you want the BIP38 generated address to be the same compressed format as the wallet (right now, it's in uncompressed format so it's not matching what you see in the receive coins address list): You will have to make the following change to line 7340: Change the false (2nd parameters): ninja.privateKey.BIP38GenerateECAddressAsync(ninja.wallets.paperwallet.intermediatePoint, false, function (address, encryptedKey) {
to true: ninja.privateKey.BIP38GenerateECAddressAsync(ninja.wallets.paperwallet.intermediatePoint, true, function (address, encryptedKey) {
Refresh the page. The generated address is now the same as you will see in the wallet and it will be easier for you to find an address that you like as a semi vanity address!
