"Balance: 2.98998 XC

Stake: 50054.274712 XC

Unconfirmed: 0.00 XC"

What's the difference between "Balance:" and "Stake:"?

Why did my 50,000 XC shift from "Balance:" to "Stake:" after my wallet staked ~54 XC?
How long has it been since you sent XC to that wallet?... It takes time, but it does work. I think I have the point were I dont get receive any POS anymore, at this time.

Basically the answer is time for mature coins... unlock for stacking, highlight the 2 axes in the bottom right of wallet and it will give you a general estimate on time of POS = free XC  Smiley

Errmm, 50k stake you have no worries brother, unlock let it stake, and buy me a beer Grin

What do you mean by "unlock" ?

What was the ETA for REV 2 again? I am afraid I forgot.
I honestly cant answer that question, but I can tell you from what I have seen in the past from the Dev: That it will be a lot sooner than most expect. The Dev is like a machine, he is relentless with his coding, and I would not be affriad to say he/they are the best coders on the market today.

Unless it has changed about a week ago they were saying 2 - 3 weeks if I remember right.

Predict a software development time is much more difficult than the software development.

The SharedCoin and CoinJoin programs are not as safe as you think, according to Kristov Atlas
http://thecoinfront.com/sharedcoin-and-coinjoin-arent-as-safe-as-you-think/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=sharedcoin-and-coinjoin-arent-as-safe-as-you-think

Could XC survive after Kristov Atlas release his tool?
And if we could survive, we'll jump to the moon.
What would be the implications for ring signatures?

What do you mean by "unlock" ?
When you open your XC wallet it is locked, assuming you encrypted it. Goto settings click unlock wallet, there is a box to the left that is default checked marked for staking where you enter your pass phrase. Once you have entered your pass phrase to unlock it will start the stacking, If I remember correctly if you want to send coins to let's say mintpal even after you have ulocked for stacking you willl need to enter pass phrase again for out going transactions.

Hope this helps

I am definitly not on the level of alot member of this community, but my literal translation of ring sigs is: farfromnugen to what XC has. Sry Im tired and I am sure someone with much accurate info will help.

BTW: ring sigs is a group of transactions grouped together sent out as a batch, which would make it very difficult to ID sender. I could be way off here, and then again a blind hog can find an acorn.

Thank you for trying. You probably know more than me.

What I am wondering is,

With these methods to obscure transaction ID's ..

If I put 50 coins into a mixer or coinjoin or a ring signature "thing"...do 50 coins go in and the same amount 50 coins come out the other end in one go, but no one can see who sent them....OR....can the original 50 coins be broken up into smaller amounts also, which further obscures the sender?

And is this part of the process the same in coinjoin, a mixer, and ring signatures?

Very grateful to anyone who can help. Smiley

We are at key resistance... Traders will have moved out expecting a fall and a few profit takers, if we move up to 130 now, they will all jump back in and we will see the gap up...  Popcorn time..

it seems v1.42 is out and replaced v1.41. http://xc-official.com/release/wallets/

any specific issue on the .41 that have been noticed ?

I did fresh install in .41 my morning, and created new wallet, then sent my coins from old to new wallet (575.xx XC), (cause I had 2 addresses in the old wallet).. so coins went out the old wallet, and it seems they were long to reach the new one. After 30 minutes they still not arrived on the new one and had to leave to go office.
Now, I hope my wife will tell me @noon (she come back home) that my coins reached new wallet.
I'll let you know.
And that why I ask about potential issues using .41 at this time.

btw thanks for everydays improvments.
